I expected exorbitant price tags but this is ridiculous– you can find the same thing online for 50% off (or any other kiddy store). This is robbery.
I don’t know why people are raving about this place– should’ve known 11 reviews mean nothing.
Seriously lacking in variety as well. It is TINY. I know it’s GC and to set off rent, pricing has to be exaggerated, but this is outrageous.
Had it not been for the urgency of finding something for the next day, I would’ve skipped this place in a heartbeat. The $ 100 spent here could’ve gotten us x3 the toys with same or similar quality.

Nice shop with interesting toys for young kids. I bought a toy for my son that broke the day I gave it to him. I brought it back in a week later and the salesperson gave me a replacement right away. Great customer service.

Nice selection of kids toys. A bit pricey, but a nice convenient place to stop in if you need a last minute gift. Lots of books and stuffed animals and learning toys, which is a plus.

Fine — a bit of a disappointment after all the rave reviews, to be frank. Limited selection, inattentive salespeople. Very pricey — significantly over expected pricing, even with Grand Central Terminal rent expected-​gouging. Ended up making a purchase instead at the Transit Museum Annex. Same item was roughly 25% less expensive. Definitely like supporting the little guy, but I’m afraid that in this case, we likely won’t return.

What’s worse than a kid in a toy store? A parent in a toy store, who just got paid and is wanting to spoil her toddler. Well, this is definitely the place to do it. It has adorable, unique, and special toys that you won’t find anywhere else. I got a small dinosaur plush for my daughter that roars for about $ 9 a couple months ago. Most of the toys in here, however, are not toddler-​friendly. I will definitely make another trip back around the holidays to see what wonderful, special toys I can get my girl for the holidays. Overall, great shop — worth a stop!

I normally don’t review stores, but this one was nice and I was surprised that the prices weren’t too bad considering the location. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the terminal.

This is my to go shop for last minute gifts for my nephews and niece.
There is a vast selection of books, toys and so on to choose from. Conveniently located inside GC station, it is a life saver for me to buy gifts while going out of town to visit my niece.
Highly recommended.

I love small, independent toy stores. Just like the small hardware stores, they have stuff the big chains don’t! I was here last spring and just stopped in & saw a cool wooden subway car that works on wooden brio tracks. When I was back in NYC a few days ago, we went to FAO Schwartz & picked out a few toys for christmas, but the subway trains they had looked cheap, no character. I dragged my wife out of the way to go back to this store just to get a couple of those wooden subway cars! I’ll post pics sometime soon. While I was there, I got a few other things that you just don’t see in big box stores: a board book about NYC, really cool bristle blocks with wheels, so you can make cars! While almost every toy store has bins of little wind up toys that look all the same, This place had a really cool tiny wind up snow plow! (OK, by now, you know that I’m really serious about toys… good thing I have kids, otherwise it would be weird)

I love this store! It’s my to go to toy store for every birthday and Christmas presents for my nieces. They carry unique items and many educational toys. The woman working there was very helpful and gave me some great suggestions.

They had various toys for different age groups.
The toy train running above is a huge bonus and adding a lot to the store.
Some of the toys are rather expensive, but they are keeping the store nicely laid out and I really liked it.
I would like to go back there to purchase something.

Love it! There are fun, unique finds in this store. I stopped in on my way home and was able to pick up a gift. Actually, I originally stopped in to pick up a gift for my nephew’s 1st birthday. But I couldn’t resist picking up a set of dinosaur flashcards for my 4-​year-​old nephew (and my sister loves them because they are so durable and made of thick cardstock).
The young woman behind the register was pleasant and helpful. When I asked her about toys for 12-​month-​old tots, she left her post at the register to come chat with me and even pointed out some suggestions.
I’ll definitely be back!

Finally, a great toy store in Grand Central Terminal! The selection here is so incredible!
After perusing for a few minutes (in which I found some great wind-​ups and coloring books), I decided to ask for help for finding a gift for a friend’s 3 year old daughter. The owner took careful consideration in showing me multiple items, all of which were great. (I went with a darling tea set!) Make sure to stop in the next time you’re rushing to a train in Grand Central!
