This place is amazing! I dropped off my clothing today in the morning for their drop off service. I was told it would be ready in the afternoon. They did such a great job folding the clothes I am very very happy and highly recommend!!!

Dropped off my laundry here and am very satisfied with the service. The two women who helped me were very nice. My clothes were perfectly organized and folded.

Laundry Lounge From Hell.
Charlatans. Con artists. Scammers. I feel this business operated shenanigans on me, and let me tell you why.
I, like everybody else in the world, hate doing laundry. The fact you have to walk down 3 blocks with two full IKEA bags once a week just to get there is maddening and the fact I least like about living in New York City.
In order to use the machines, this laundromat requires you to buy yourself a card that you top up with money. So I did.
But I was in the country only for a certain period of time and what happened was that during my second last week in the US, LG Laundry Lounge was out of gas when I went in on my weekly laundry duty. Imagine how disappointing it is to walk 3 blocks with heavy bags just to be informed you couldn’t perform your task, and therefore couldn’t use your laundromat card with the 12 $ on it. Had to walk another 2 blocks to another laundromat and withdraw cash to do my laundry. How annoying.
Now coming to the part which makes me feel LG Laundro Lounge is running a scamming business and has done me wrong. On my last week in the US, I again walk up to the LG Laundry Lounge. Knowing I will be leaving soon and willing to use the remaining 12 $ on my LG Laundry Lounge card. Guess what they tell me? That’s right — they are OUT OF GAS AGAIN.
I explain my situation and ask if they could refund me with the 12 dollars since I won’t be able to use the remaining sum on the card. I get told no. I go off telling them the operation they are running is bullshit and maybe they should use power instead of gas as power can never run out.
Come on, how can you run a business if you are constantly out of gas and not able to do business? Can’t be good, right? They told me they MIGHT (just might) have gas tomorrow — WTF? You expect your customers take the time and the enjoyable heavyweight walk many days on a row just to get their shit clean? Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Therefore I’m claiming LG Laundry Lounge not only is a scam, it is a bad business delivering very unreliable service. The other laundromats are old and shitty but at least their machines work.
DO NOT GO HERE.

This place has gone downhill in a hurry. When I first started coming here it was cool … there was places to sit, drying was free and it was open 24 hours. Now they only have one bench, which is worn and tattered, there’s always multiple machines broken, the last wash is at 10pm … first they changed the drying to $ 0.25 for 20 min, then it was $ 0.30 for 20 min and now it’s $ 0.30 for only 15 minutes! The floor is always dirty and they don’t let anyone use the restroom. I only continue coming here because my favorite café is across the street but I think it’s time to find a new laundry place!

When I moved to the neighborhood two years ago this place was awesome! I started coming here mainly because it was really well air-​conditioned during the summer, but there was also lots of seating and places to fold laundry, and places to charge all your stuff.
As I sit in here doing laundry today, only 2 of the 4 AC’s are actually on, and they are not cooling the place down at all (not to mention they’re dripping massive amounts of water). 8 of the machines are out of order (and have been for awhile), there is only 1 available outlet for charging, and they have gotten rid of over ½ of the seats. People are now forced to sit on top of the tables meant for folding laundry. The floor is always dirty, and in the two years I’ve been coming here the «Out of Order» sign has never come off of the bathroom door.
The ladies who work here are always nice, but they never care if kids are running around and making this place miserable for everyone else.
I’ll continue coming here only because I have no other option that’s any better.

The washers here are great. Always get my whites whitest when I wash here. Wifi here too.

When this place opened up, it was awesome. The machines were clean, the place was never crowded, and there was a place to sit and use a laptop. With time, the cleanliness of the machines went down a bit and the crowd changed. I started dropping off my laundry. The ladies that work here are very nice and do a great job washing the clothes. They do it quickly and fold it all very well. One recommendation is to take a bottle of Tide with you if you drop off clothes. The generic detergent they use is terrible and gave me allergies. I continue taking my clothes here when I have no time to do it. It is definitely better than many laundromats in the area.

The hard-​working women who keep this place rolling are wonderful. I bring my laundry in for dropoff once a week, and they are always, without exception, polite, professional, considerate and prompt. My laundry always comes back in great shape, even when I do annoying things like leaving my socks balled up.

Stay away from this place.1^st the worse attention by the employees and tge management. Be careful with the card payment system. I had $ 19 and didn’t go todo laundry for a few months and to my surprise t I e card only had a balance of $ 1. When I ask the person in the front desk she’d told me thatit was impossible for the balance to disappeared. I requested a transaction report and they didn’t get have such. This place is the worse. Go down to 141^st and support the local community laundry. I will never be a costumer at this laundry facility. i guess the only thing this place has is a fancy look. And also the machines don’t clean your clothes. STAY AWAY.

When I first moved to the area I stumbled upon Laundry Lounge and was thrilled with the new machines and how clean it was. Six months later… not so much. Prices went up and drying is no longer free (which was to be expected), but they also never seem to stick to the hours on the door. More concerning though is how filthy everyhing has become. Food, crumbs, and dirt everywhere and the same dirty mop to «clean» it with. I only gave it the extra star because of the Wi-​fi. Unfortunately, I’ll have to go back to doing my laundry in my building and with its crappy dryers.

So, I was walking home from the gym at like 9:30 thinking how I really needed to finish the laundry I had started earlier today. This place is in between the gym and my apartment and I was very excited to see that this place is open 24 hours on Thursday-​Sunday. So, I got home, showered, made dinner blah blah, long story short I didn’t get out of my apartment ’til 11:30. i haul two hefty bags over to this place and upon entering a 20 something year old girl starts wagging her finger at me. She (rudely) and some dude (less rudely) begin to tell me they are closed and speak to me like I am some kind of moron for thinking I could start my laundry at 11:30 at night. I really have no idea what they are saying in particular however because they are both talking at me at the same time from across the room. I say the obligatory «but the sign says…» and they tell me too bad. And you know what, I’m a reasonable person. I get it, — this place is new and very very swanky as far as laundromats go. They probably experimented with the whole 24 hour thing and it wasn’t worth it. I totally understand that. But please, spend 20 seconds and take some tape, a marker and a piece of paper and make this information available to the general public so they don’t freaking haul 20 pounds of laundry down to your establishment at 11:30 at night only to get turned away. Additionally, please do not wag your finger at me. Please use words and apologetically explain to me that, sorry, you are not open for x, y, and z reason and I promise I will understand. Alternatively, offer me some free drop off service.
The whole experience made me so angry I felt the need to leave a review of this place on the internet. In general, it’s great that they have wifi and a place to charge your cell phone and, my favorite feature, free drying. I like all of that I really do. Also, of all the nearby laundry places they have the most folding tables. However, now I am going to list my other gripes.
This place sometimes smells disgusting, which is not desirable in a place where you go to clean things. On several occasions I have come here and it smells rotten. I believe this is because they wash this place down with a dirty mop several times a day which is ironic because they are surrounded by washing machines with which they could easily wash the mop head. The washers aren’t super well maintained either — they are always crusted over with detergent and one time a washer overheated (I guess?) and made all my clothes smell like burnt rubber.
Overall, the place is serviceable. If they get a new sign I will come back and tin that case I would give them three stars.

There are a handful of things I loathe most in the world, and doing laundry is one of them. This place seems to have thought of every way to make that experience more enjoyable, and I commend them for that. Interior is clean, with employees regularly sweeping the floors and wiping windows down. They have free wifi, seating on a countertop, flatscreen TVs, cellphone chargers… and um, FREE dryers! Seriously, all they need is a bar and I just might never leave.
I didn’t experience problems with the washers as the previous reviewer did. Everything has always come out clean for me. I will say though, that despite my affection for the design of this laundromat, I always use their drop off service. I have a busy schedule and it’s hard for me to set aside time to do laundry. It’s usually been around $ 8-​$ 12, everything has always come out clean, neatly folded, and they are also timely about it with same day pick up. I will say though that last time I found a pair of men’s boxer’s in my bag that were NOT mine! They were probably left over in the dryer before my load went in, obviously not thoroughly checked. Nothing of mine has ever gone missing though so I can’t complain.

Wow a new laundromat! Super clean and nice. New machines and wifi. Very cool.

This Laundromat is described as, «a new approach to the traditional, utilitarian laundromat». I would have to agree! I simply was walking by on opening day after having lunch down the street.
I read it has 26 washers and 32 dryers.
First, you purchase a reusable card that is a one time of $ 2.00. You get this back because the dryers are F.R.E.E. There are LCD TVs in there, free WiFi (what laundromat has that?) and seats with tables so you can work on stuff while you wait for your laundry!
My most recent experience elsewhere was pushing past an old lady trying to get her stuff to the dryer before me while I had been waiting 30 minutes for the dryer while standing. Not here! No need to shove grandma to the side for trying to playing cutsies.
My only thought, and it’s not even a complaint. It would be nice to have the washers starring at the dryers so you could potentially just move them from one to the other. I had to load up my cart and walk it around numerous other people to get to the available dryers in the dryer section.
Thanks LG for taking away some of my laundering stress!
