It is obvious from all of the previous and incoming comments that this place has a huge problem. McDonalds district management would do well to take a close look at the comments on this page, they are the flags that any sensible management would pay attention to, and act accordingly in either changing management at this location or simply shutting it down before someone either catches the plague there from the food or bacteria on the seats or gets killed trying to ask the people sleeping on the benches there to leave. This place is a ticking time bomb as far as cleanliness, management, and liability is concerned.

What can one say about a MacDonald’? What I can say about this outlet is stay away particularly at night. The night managers take particular delight in playing discordant music — in a variety of languages — at decibel levels that broadcast this music loud enough to be heard in New Jersey. The«music» literally makes you sick. The throbbing bass is bad enough, but when it comes through every fiber of your being loud enough to drown out a jest plane, it is particularly nauseating. Additionally, the hours here are erratic. The posted open 24 hours is pure fiction, in that when the mood strikes them, the managers abruptly close the place without prior notice. Should you venture here one evening, be prepared to have a shouting employee suddenly start screaming at everybody«out», «get out» as if the Mongolian hoards are about to attack. They apparently design, quite successfully to instill panic among the patrons. The franchise then locks up leaving bewildered patrons on the street with half eaten burgers and fries. I’ve seen this happen on a number of occasions. The outlet has about 50 seats. But, most evenings, one half of the restaurant is inexplicably closed off with plastic garbage bags unfurled and laid about as if nobody quite understood that these garbage bags are not intended to festoon a dining room in the style of a Jerry rigged corral readied for a festival featuring rodents. The consequence is that patrons are bizarrely forced to sit cheek by jowl trying to eat, while the«music» throbs. The faire is, well, MacDonald’s. But this is Manhattan where there are plenty of 24 hour joints that serve varied tasty cuisine sans nauseatingly blaring«music». Stay away.

This place was awful. And I’m even a Micky D lover. I came here after a concert at Lincoln Center and came in. It’s large, bright, modern, and they were playing festive Latin music. From there it went downhill. We tried to order Mcflurries but were told there were none without even an apology. Then when we asked about smoothies the person there was super annoyed and impatient looking. We finally ordered apple pies and a chocolate smoothie. The chocolate smoothie was definitely not chocolate(see photo) but rather a mix of something. If you can’t even get this right… The apple pies — one was fine, the other package was crushed with some apple pie filling on the outside. The whole place smelled pretty bad and there were people sleeping in the benched and at tables.

I stopped in McDonald’s to grab a pop and the young man taking my order was very polite. I ended up ordering some French fries & in the very short time I was there I could see that he was smart & honest. He one if the good ones. Thank you Kevin for a nice McDonald’s experience.

I have passed this McDonalds many times and on Saturday night around 1am we decided to get a late night snack. Big mistake. We walked in to Latin dance music blasting that McDonalds was playing. Aren’t there rules about how chains should be run? Nonetheless, we waited on the line that was about 8 people long. The unfriendly male cashier upsized our nugget meal price to large without asking us, but half filled the fries. He threw his choice of sauce in the bag. The place felt dirty and the workers could care less about the business. This place only has business because it’s near the subway otherwise I doubt it would last. I hope the people that oversee McDonalds looks into this location because it’s a complete disgrace on every level.

The guy working here alone tonight is absolutely killing it! Great front of the house service.

Absolutely the worst. What a horrid experience. BEWARE: They’ll forget your order. Not wasting another moment of my life in this place or on this review.

I’m giving 2 stars just because this location is close to my home and subway. Getting coffee I’m a timely fashion in the morning is always a challenge. The line is forever long and the women behind the counter making the coffee socialize more than work. I like to take a break and have fun at work too, however when it’s crunch time in the rush hour morning they should be more alert and attentive to the orders. I’ve been going to Starbucks since it’s less of a hassle even though it’s more expensive. Truly disappointing.

I can’t believe I’m reviewing a McDonald’s, but alas. There are giant signs that say they’re open 24 hours, apparently that’s not the case. I went in before work at 5am and got bitched at because they were ‘closed’. I pointed out their giant sign says they’re open 24 hours and they argued with me. Okay, well, I guess them not really being open 24 hours saves me the shame of eating there at 4:00am.

I hadn’t been here for quite a while. They redid the place and it seems to be much faster getting your food. Instead of yelling your order number to be picked up, they have a video board telling your which order is ready. However, a lot of the old folks to camp out here all day taking up a lot of the seating.

This is a cute little place known mostly as an underground gem only for the upper west side elite. If you find your way to our neighborhhod I highly suggest seeking it out, if you can get a booth. For newbies I suggest starting out with their signature Big Mac but for all you health nuts they also offer a double quarter pounders topped with American cheese.

Takes forever at night. Employees are disrespectful and makes it not«fast food». Takes forever to order and get your food. The employees end up speaking Spanish to each other more than taking orders

I was recently in the area and was in a rush so I stopped here. There was so many things wrong with my experience, that left a bad taste in my mouth as I walked out. For starters they were lacking most of what iced coffee, mozzarella sticks, apple pies, and mocha flavoring. I had to completely change my order and was given an evil stare for deciding to change it last minute. I was rushed to order and pay, then my food was tossed at me. My order was $ 5.63 and I wanted to pay with exact change, but was told«just give me whatever change you got, I don’t have time for this.» Meanwhile not a single person was behind me. By the time I sat down my food was cold and my fries were only half full. I am NEVER coming back to this McDs again. I worked in the fast food business, and can tell they act this way to most customers. I recommend you don’t come to this one unless ite life or death. Even then this should not be your in your top three choices. P. S. the bathroom is out of order and the customer next to me said it never works right.

Just for sheer entertainment value, this place is a dream… a total slice of New York… without paying for the theater! Get this… opera singer singing to herself near the counter… throngs of people waiting around, for what I don’t know, but I suspect orders that are flat out wrong, someone opening your door while asking for money, and assorted other disturbing characters… all adding up to one motley crew… like I said, if you want to see a cross section of New York… come…otherwise, well… enough said…

I pop in to McDonald’s to grab a coffee and an egg white delight meal on occasion. It’s usually pretty straight forward. Occasionally the cashiers get my order wrong, but it’s McDonald’s, so eh. The manager usually straightens it out with a smile. The only annoying thing I’ve noticed here is that the local high school kids will hang out here en masse and no adult wants to be in a high school cafeteria environment.

Being completely honest and as kind as possible, this was probably one of the worst run McDonald’s restaurants I have ever been to. It was pathetic… Inside it is a brand new interior, so the owner must have spent some money, but the management was pretty bad. First of all, the place was a mess. The place wasn’t busy, but the employees were just standing around and doing nothing… Meanwhile there was trash everywhere. Crusty food on tables and the ground, bags and cups on almost every table, and the ground was just covered with litter. Second of all the employees were slow and rude, and one was texting while we waited for our order to be taken. Bad even for a ghetto McDonald’s.

This is a McDonald’s. It’s like the others. The folks behind the counter were very pleasant, and the food was garbage and I ate it very happily. The soda fountains are some kind of hi-tech touch-screen flavor mix-n-match that offers up what seems like every flavor ever engineered by Coca-Cola in any combination you want. If you traveled back in time and showed this soda fountain to people, and then showed them an iPhone, I think they’d be more impressed by the soda fountain.

Let me relate to you a poem that my dear old dad(R.I.P.) used to recite to me when I was but a young boy: «Ask me no questions, I’ll tell you no lies. A man was hit by a bag of shit.» In my modern day mind, the bag he spoke of in that poem could only be a bag from any(but especially THIS) McDonald’s.

I finally stepped into this homeless shelter-cum-McDonald’s. It was relatively empty whereas usually the swap meet that is taking place within spills out into the street. I know you’re just the cashier, but I don’t need to see you picking at whatever it is you’re picking at on your elbow while we wait.

Stopped by to use the restroom before leaving the area and getting on the train. I’m glad I was already planning on buying something. The bathroom was blocked and they had a sign making it clear that the restroom was for customers only. I purchased a small drink and was on my way. They have the cool touch screen drink machines that allow you to choose darn near an infinite number of drink choices when factoring in the fact you can practically invent a new flavor.
