Travis couldn’t have done a better job helping me and my husband find the perfect apartment. We had to put 100% faith in Travis when living in Atlanta and apartment hunting in NYC. I flew up and in ONE DAY he took me to several listings. We found the apartment and he guided us through the rental process quickly and seamlessly. I highly recommend Travis to anyone looking for a realtor. We loved him so much we’re in the process of buying an aprtment with his guidance!

It was a pleasure working with Travis. He really stands out in his ability to listen, work hard, advocate for his clients and always accommodate. He made the home finding process a smooth one. His positive disposition and kindness were also appreciated and made the apartment visits in the cold winter weather manageable.

Thanks Patrick (Brooklyn) for your help in our buying process. He sent me listings from all over Brooklyn for weeks based only on short descriptions and random specificities yet didn’t tire of it even though my communication was haphazard. Helpful building my overview of the market as it was a very low inventory half a year. Was respectful and made sure to ask if he could help/​send listings before he went ahead and did so.

When my roommate and I were looking for an apartment in Manhattan this past summer, we selected Travis Martin of MNS as our real estate agent.
He showed us properties for two days. Although the process felt rushed, for the most part he was knowledgeable and polite. After we signed a lease on an apartment, this attitude changed drastically. Before signing the lease, we stated that one condition was to have the carpet (which was very old and smelled like cat) removed. Travis agreed that this condition was very reasonable and said this would be taken care of. Only later it became clear that he did little to nothing to make this happen. The building management in fact had never heard from him about the carpet removal. After bringing this up to him, Travis failed to follow up and instead strung us along and even sent a very rude e-​mail to my roommate. When confronted with this unprofessionalism, Travis promised to send an apology to my roommate. It never came.
To top it off, one of the air conditioners he arranged for us to buy from the departing tenants did not work. When we wanted to deduct the amount for the broken down air conditioner, he made us feel ridiculous and would not hear of it. I dislike writing negative reviews but our experience with MNS Realty and Travis Martin has left us feeling ripped off.

I worked with Sean Copello and he was great. Very respectful of what I was looking for and my price range. He showed a variety of price ranges, too, rather than just showing me places at the very top of my budget or even a little bit over. He was patient and NOT PUSHY, which I also really appreciated. I definitely recommend Sean and plan to pass his information along to friends directly as well.

I knew that finding apartments in NYC is a hassle. What’s worse is that there are many fake advertisement of apartments that do not exist. I’ve been duped by one landlord and I decided to stick with brokers from then on.
I actually found Sean Copello through a Facebook ad. It was 11PM. I texted him and he responded almost immediately. That said, Sean is very dedicated and sensitive to my needs. He sent me about 20 potential apartments via email the day after I contacted him. We went to see one apartment. I liked it but it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for. Anyway, Sean picked up on that and found another apartment a couple days afterwards. Needless to say, I signed the lease on the spot after on seeing two apartments.
Sean made my apartment search infinitely easier. I would recommend him anyday (in fact, I’ve already recommended him to my friends).

There are unlimited great things one could say about Sean… I’ll try to focus on his real estate skills.
Sean is the most dedicated, attentive, friendly, punctual, professional, and client-​specific guy in the market. With no promise or confirmed timeline of renting an apartment, Sean made time for my roommate and I every weekend for 6+ weeks. He showed us 15+ apartments, each time narrowing the search to cater to our specific needs learning along the way what would work and what wouldn’t, making each trip seem valuable.
Outside of the showings, Sean made himself available to us 7 days a week via phone/​email. Whether it was us sending links to Sean that we were interested in seeing or Sean putting together a few links for us to peruse, we were seriously impressed with how much time, effort, and research Sean put into helping us find the perfect home — which we ultimately did and we love it!
We dealt with a handful of random brokers who turned us off right away and we even turned down an offer on a great apartment because it was not shown to us by Sean and we felt he had absolutely earned his commission and then some. We were also confident Sean would find us something better for our wants/​needs.
Following our move on 6÷1÷14, Sean reached out to my roommate and I to see how everything went, if we were happy, and if there was anything he could do to help — his firm had already received payment, but Sean is the kind of guy who is in this game to help people and profits from their happiness versus throwing people into a crappy situation so he can collect and move on.
I can’t sing his praises enough — Sean is hands down the best broker in the greater NY area and I look forward to referring him to my friends and family with confidence he will be energetic, helpful, professional, and successful.

Sean Copello is an incredible broker! He was very helpful and made the apartment hunt super easy for us. He gave us great options that fit our price range and was always available whenever we needed to reach him. He is not only personable but also gets shit done :). We highly recommend him and will most definitely call him again if we ever planning on moving elsewhere.

Cheyne is a super amazing broker! He’s so personable, organized, attentive, responsive, and wonderful. The only reason for which we didn’t end up renting an apt through him is that a broker we had contacted before ever meeting Cheyne showed us something that we liked. Cheyne’s client attention and dedication to us far surpassed that of the broker we ended up renting from. That’s why we plan to use Cheyne as our broker when we buy a place in Brooklyn next year. You cannot possibly go wrong by choosing Cheyne. He’s simply excellent.

I highly recommend Cheyne Stepanski. He worked harder than other brokers I have dealt with, listened to my needs (really), was never pushy and always helped us make our own decisions; he was by far the best broker that we used and although I did not end up renting from him (dumb luck) I will definitely be using him in the future and recommend him to all of my friends.

Sean Copello was easily the best broker I had contact with. He was incredibly fast and responsive, direct, organized, efficient, and professional. All while somehow being non-​aggressive – a rare combination. His video tours are hugely helpful: you get a clear view of what the apartments look like in advance, which saves a *lot* of time in scheduling appointments. This was especially helpful for me as I’m relocating and not based in NY. I didn’t end up renting an apartment from Sean, but I wanted to review him here because he was really head and shoulders above every single other agent I dealt with. I would wish anyone the pleasure of working with him.

Great customer service and very professional! Moving from San Francisco to NYC we were clueless to the NYC rental market. Sean was our broker and was terrific in helping us understand the fast pace rental market. The Video’s were fantastic and saved us a ton of time.

From the start, I thought that relocating to New York would be tough. Craigslist is full of fake ads, large brokerage firms use the same ad multiple times, and it is difficult to know what is real. However, I reached out to Sean Copello at MNS through nakedapartments and he made the process so easy.
After talking through neighborhood, price range, and move dates, Sean started looking for places immediately. I was still in San Francisco, so it was great that Sean was able to work with me remotely.
Sean has a lot of great strengths that set him apart from other brokers. Number one is his excellent communication. Sean was always available to talk or text and made me feel like he was very invested in finding me my next home. Once Sean had gone out to see apartments, we would short videos of each apartment and a great description. It was so great to actually see a place and not just rely on one or two bad photos (like other brokers). Additionally, Sean was very forthright and honest throughout the process and is very trustworthy. He didn’t’ tell me my price range was unrealistic and try to push me to a higher rent, in fact it almost seemed like he saw it as a challenge that he could beat.
I would recommend working with Sean for any of my friends moving to NYC. I also looked at brokers at Bond and
and was not as impressed with their desire to work with me. Sean is so incredibly hard working and communicative for his clients. I also think that for younger people like me who expect a little bit more tech savvy in their brokers, Sean Coppelo is a great choice. He is a stand out in a tough field and will work hard to find you your next home.
