I this store after just one visit!
I had spent over an hour sitting right across the street trying to find a store in the area that carried all the brands I was looking for (NYX, LA GIRL, CANTU, SHEA MOISTURE) I just knew I would not be able to find them all in one location so I was mapping out my location to the distance of the stores and the proximity of the multiple stores I would need to visit to get all the products. Being very frustrated and realizing I did NOT wear the right shoes for all the walking I was about to have to do I left putting the whole trip off until tomorrow and thennnnnn…

As soon as I walked in I saw the LA GIRL display and was instantly excited and right pass that was NYX Heaven right in the aisle. I love that they have testers so I was able to try on the different shades outside of the ones I was looking for (on my hand of course) and they offer you wipes to remove all the mess you’ve made on yourself.
The employees are very helpful, they were able to help me locate any items I did not see. I was even explaining to the cashier my dilemma before stumbling upon them and she was shocked they didn’t pop up in Unilocal when I was searching.
My haul today included NYX & LA GIRL lip colors I had been searching high and low for, some Shea moisture and cantu products, some combs, clips and spray bottles of varying sizes.
So I’ve basically found s new store t give all my money to! Yayyyyyy

My coworker told me about this place a while back. I come here to pick up a selection of Nail polish, Shampoo and Deep Conditioner, and Makeup. Elf is across the street and i could understand why they you beautiful women would go there, but this store carries NYX which to me is a better quality of makeup compare to Elf.
The only thing is sometimes i wear false eye lashes and there are certain brands i like to wear. They only carry one brand which isn’t a bad brand but if they carried others i would spend my whole paycheck in here. But they do carry all the latest Essie nail polish which i love cause that’s one of the best nail polish out and when i go to the nail salon those ladies be trying to steal my stuff (OH NO DARLING, LETS NOT GET CRAZY).
The cashier is a nice lady and sometimes the store carries the best products behind the register so always ask her for any brand or product you searching for she is the best person to talk to.

Awesome customer service. The employees are extremely kind and nice. Really take the extra step to help out. Good selection of makeup but could be better. Most of the supplies are hair and body products. They have NYX cosmetics and LA Girl and a few other obscure brands. Located right next to the Fulton Center so it’s easy to get to. I’ve been here twice and it’s my go-​to place.

Overly priced items but with a good selection. Also, this place is locally owned so that’s always a plus to find in lower Manhattan.

I was speaking to the cashier about how different the store is and how fancy their checkout system is… NOW. I used to come here often way, way back in the day when I had storage off South Street. She made sure to let me know that the store is now owned by different people. I love how they have displays/​samples setup so you can swatch the beauty products. The previous owners did not allow this. I need to go back to purchase several items. I like the setup but they can afford to add more makeup.

There is a beauty supply at this location but I think they changed name when they changed owners about a year ago. The shop is much cleaner now and they have more things in stock but they still have a horrible return policy

The phone is disconnected. The reviews are from 2010 – 2011. I think the store is closed.

I have said it many times before, you pay for what you get! It is a great spot to stop in and get some last minute items. As a self proclaimed beauty junky, cheap trial size goodies and other make up items make me very happy! Spend a little time looking at the items before you buy them, but other than that you will be happy!

I bought a curling iron that the saleswoman suggested and she said that I could exchange it if I didn’t like it. I went home, opened the box and realized I didn’t like it. I did not even plug it in or use it at all. When I went to exchange it, the owner said that it wasn’t in the condition I bought it in. He tried to say that the box was damaged. Then he said that he only exchanges items when they’re defective. Not only did the salesgirl tell me to simply exchange it, but the sign on the register says «exchange within 7 days.» The owner was basically making up stories; I told him that it’s not a nice way to treat customers. He knew he was wrong and finally let me exchange it, but he lost me as a customer due to his unnecessary and deceitful games.

I have been a return customer for the last two or three years and this is the last time I will be going back to this store. I recently brought 6 bottles of Wella liquid crème hair color, because the prices always goes up every time, that is why I always buy more than I need. This is the only hair color I use. This time, the products were bad. When I mixed the hair color with the developer it turned to liquid, like water. I open the other bottles and I saw that all of the Wella hair color is liquefied. It is suppose to be cream texture, like syrup. I pour the evidence into a plastic container and went back to the store. I told the SA what happen and one of the SA knew what I was talking about and called for the owner. (The owner knew about it, because the SA didn’t look surprise or question me if I mixed it correctly). I showed it to the store owner that their Wella hair color went bad. The owner argues with me saying it was suppose to be like that and I was wrong. He told me that on the box it is suppose to be liquid and If I wanted cream I should have brought it in a cream form. He went on saying that he own this store for 10 years and he knows what he is talking about. I have been dyeing my hair for 12 years and I know what I am talking about. It is not suppose to look like water, everyone who dyes their hair all knows this. The owner keeps arguing with me and asked me if I was sure. At the end, the owner let me exchange the other 5 bottles, but not the one that I used which I brought in as evidence. I got some other hair color brand, I wasn’t taking any chances. This is a warning, do not buy any Wella Color charm liquid crème hair color, because it turned bad and the owner knew about it. He most likely restocked the ones I just returned. I understand that he let me do an exchange and I shouldn’t blame the owner, but he argued with me and he thinks I am stupid for not knowing anything. Everyone have been warned. Do not buy the Wella liquid crème from that store. Buy it from another beauty supply store.
