I want to give a thumbs up to the lovely young woman who was at the counter when I checked out, and worked with me to find the credit card on which I had purchased an item I wanted returned, and then cheerfully took my old ink cartridges. I was a very happy camper. However, I then went to the department where they deal with photocopying and packages, because I had to mail a small package to China, and it has to go USPS. I waited patiently for 10 minutes while the six or so employees went about other business. There was one young woman who kept walking purposelessly (or so it seemed to me) back and forth. I assumed she was actually DOING something, but after ten minutes of observing her do nothing but walk to one part of the store and then walk to another part of the store without seeming to do ANYTHING, I finally said, «Can you help me? Are you in the middle of something?» She said yes she could help me. OK, that was annoying enough — why had I had to ask HER? Why hadn’t SHE asked ME if she could help me. But what REALLY annoyed me is that when I said I had to mail something to China, she said, «Oh, no, we don’t mail things outside the US.» So I had watched her do nothing for 10 minutes for no reason. Grrr. I was still happy about the first part of my experience, which is why I’m giving 2 stars, but this second part of the experience tells me that this Staples location isn’t all that concerned about their customers. All they needed to do was put on the sign «US only» and they would have saved me a lot of trouble. If they read this, I hope they’ll make that change (plus maybe deal with lackadaisical employees?).

I just wanna give a proper thanks to Gilbert at this Staples! His knowledge and customer service is remarkable. He went above and beyond what most people are willing to do and I really appreciate it. I was two customers behind in line and he treated everyone I saw with the same awesome service and gave me.

Worst customer service ever

Our favorite Staples. It has everything we need, in one small shop.
The staff are amazing and friendly, know their stuff and are helpful. Customer Service a its brilliance.
We get all our stationary here and every time, they have exactly what we need.
They have some good deals too which are always on display.

By far the best Staples in New York! I walked in to get some documents scanned to email & make a couple of copies. Not only were they swift and knowledgable, but they were also pleasant people. If you need any printing services please head to this location. Lenny was great!!!

Making copies here is beyond awful. Copier jammed, made copies on the wrong kind of paper, and getting reimbursed took 20 minutes.

I walked into the store the other night about 30 mins before closing. I was greeted by Lenny (I think that was his name) and asked if I could make copies using cash. Normally you can’t do this, but he went out of his way to help me and was exceptionally courteous and professional. I didn’t have my debit card and the guy at FedEx was a jerk so I walked to staples hoping they would be more helpful, and they definitely were. I got what I needed and was out in 10 minutes. Really great experience.

I just came back from Staples with a straightforward printout of 2 PDFs on 8.5×11 double-​sided job on card stock– what I usually have done. I’ve been coming here for the past year to get simple jobs printed on card stock. The customer service is pretty horrendous. Namely the small young looking lady with the short cropped hair with the blonde colored dye at the tips. I specifically informed her at my job pick up that I didn’t want my printouts to be cut down to size which it already was when I went to pick it up because they normally charge extra and they never trim things down correctly. She has a nasty attitude and replied that it’s not going to be charged, and before she even finished her sentence, she walked away.
When coming back to my office, I noticed that they cut it down incorrectly, cutting off faces and not following the specific crop marks I had. I went back to Staples within a half an hour and informed them that their trimming was incorrect and asked that they reprint it over. They couldn’t even do this simple task. I had 2 PDFs in the email, and it specifically states in my email from them earlier to print them both double-​sided. The same young looking lady with the short cropped hair printed the 2 PDFs, but this time, the front and back pages weren’t even from the same PDF jobs. The second time she came back, the colors were all pixelated because she wanted to take the easy route and scan the jobs, instead of actually printing them out from then actual PDF. The third time came out fine until I came back to my office to cut the printout down to size and saw that the crop marks on the front and back didn’t even line up… This made my printout have a white margin on the left-​hand side.
This was my go-​to spot to have my handmade cards printed, but due to the lack of workmanship and care that goes into having SIMPLE things getting messed up, on top of the horrible customer service by the short little lady with the tattooed hand and blond hair, I’m never coming back again after a year of service with them.

I came across this store to print translucent layers for our wedding invitations. I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by a perfect duo, Lenny and Dolly.
They were very helpful and friendly. Thanks guys!

i came here after stopping by fed ex to get a booklet/​portfolio printed, cropped and bound. i was helped by Chris who completed my booklet in about 10 mins, and it was 20% cheaper than fed ex. it was also going to take a couple days for fedex to complete. stop by here first if you are in the area and need a print, and Staples management if your reading this give your employee Chris at this location a raise/​promotion cause he’s great!

Solid printing service. I love that I can log in online and upload my files myself and customize what I need. Then I can pickup when it’s ready and cut out all the drama in between. The staff is friendly and the location is convenient.

Amazing service. Needed emergency copies of business cards for a convention at the New York Hilton Midtown. I gave a card to them and they duplicated them (100 copies) within 4 hours. And they look great! They are friendly, professional and fast! Thanks!

This is a Copy & Print Center so the selection is not the same as at the average Staples. However, they did have the thumbtacks I needed & I was able to get in and out in a timely fashion so I have no complaints.

This isn’t a regular Staples, it’s one of their «Copy & Print Center» branches that provide service to make multiple black & white/​color copies, posters, fliers, business cards, etc.
They do sell notebooks, packs of paper, pens, pencils, folders, printer cartridges, e-​reader accessories and other forms of stationery and office supply things.
My reasoning for coming here is generally because they have a partnership with Amazon and they provide their location as a mailing location for packages. Through an «Amazon Locker» contraption they will hold your
item for 3 days before they send it back.
Funny part is that my first time using this service the Staples employee here had no idea how to use it, thank goodness that it’s user friendly — just find your order pick-​up number via email, type it in and *boom* the locker your item is stored in will automatically open.
This is especially convenient if you’re not sure if you will be home to take a delivery or can’t use your office, but Amazon does have rules and restrictions that are dependent on the size, weight and nature of the product.
I would recommend you take a step back immediately after you type in the last character of your code because a certain someone (…kay, me) almost got smacked in the face by locker #13, lol.

This is a small Staples specializing in Copy Center work. This location has a few — pardon the pun — staples, but it is close to the large 57^th St location so if you are looking for office supplies, go to 57^th St on Sixth. If you need some printing work done, avoid 57^th St and high tail it over here.
When I first started going here for large posters, Paula was the manager and she was the very essence of FANTASTIC! A true professional, caring and talented. Every time I went she could be found training her ever revolving Team with patience and understanding. The work produced under her care was always top notch. She has since left and work produced there is still good, I just miss her attention to detail.
I use their email service to send projects to be worked on and they email me back when my project is ready. They consistently call me if I forget to give them all the details. They will tweak if necessary and in the rare event that they don’t have the right supplies, they always upgrade without charging additional and always ask if it will work for me.
Prices are higher than I would like but they are competitive. They are open 7am –9 pm M-​F and 10 – 6 Sat, 11 – 6 Sun.

I went here to buy a printer cartridge, which the salesperson helped me pick out based on the compatibility book they have. The cartridge didn’t work, and when I tried to take it back the next day I noticed that even though this cartridge is listed as compatible with a list of printers, including mine, there was a footnote saying that this version of the black ink didn’t work with my particular printer. Even though this was in a tiny footnote, that the salesperson also missed apparently when she helped me pick it out, the manager wouldn’t accept the cartridge for return or exchange because although the plastic on the cartridge wasn’t opened and I had the receipt, I had opened the box before I realized I had the wrong model. It was the fault of their salesperson, and the mistake would have cost them almost nothing to rectify since I just wanted an exchange, but they still wouldn’t do it. I know it’s a small incident, but the level of disdain for their customers that it demonstrates is unbelievable to me. I won’t shop at this or any other staples again and you shouldn’t either.

This Staples is brand spankin’ new. Now, I’ll have to admit, I am not a regular customer at Staples of any office supply store. The supply here is limited, but the place is clean and well laid out. The staff was friendly, however they referred a lot of customer to a nearby Staples with a larger selection. The only reason I stopped in was because I had a $ 15 off a $ 15 purchase, but hey, I’m definitely happy with my new umbrella and diet coke! :)
