Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse is one of the better places to eat around here, given that the choices aren’t huge per se. So by mere comparison, I’ll give it a 4 star, in other more populated places it would only qualify for 3.
The good: love the all-​you-​can-​eat peanuts and tossing the shells on the floor, also their warm rolls are good. The food is average, neither great not bad.
The bad: it’s crowded and loud, but that again may not be bad really if going with family and small kids.
Overall, not a place I go to often but sometimes it’s the best choice for what is available.

This place is money! The chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes is my favorite. I mean it’s the bomb diggity! Great atmosphere as well.

Great food, even a vegetarian can enjoy this place! However upon ordering my vegetarian meal the waitress made a rude comment «that’s really weird» and rolled her eyes. Loved the food but not our waitress. Hostess was great!

I have been here a few times. My wife and I usually go here for our anniversary as they have the best prime rib. The food is usually perfect, but last night for our anniversary meal, my Prime Rib was overcooked. I had asked for med-​rare, but it was more med well. They do need to turn the music down as it becomes hard to hold a conversation. As was previously said when the wait staff starts their line dance, there is no service.

Just saw a mass exodus from this place. Had about 20 people waiting to be seated. Song comes on and all help starts to dance instead of seat waiting customers. Was told would have to wait until they were done dancing. All left.

Love this place great customer service and everyone is friendly hospitality is at its highest, I love the unlimited supply of fresh warm bread and whipped butter. the food is reasonably priced my favorite meal would be the grilled BBQ chicken with the seasoned rice and loaded baked potato and the magarita I tried all the other steak houses but this place is by far the best.

My absolute favorite restaurant in Manhattan! The staff/​servers are amazing and so friendly!!! The food is always on point and the experience is always worth the wait in line!!! Texas Roadhouse is a must when visiting Manhattan!

Customer service is certainly front and center at the Texas Roadhouse in Manhattan. I’ve eaten here several times both in the restaurant and calling in take-​out orders. The food portions are always big. The food is always fresh, hot, and delicious no matter what you get. When you come in to pick up a take out order they always have offered us free drinks while we wait even if the wait was only 2 minutes. That is a little thing that doesn’t cost them, but maybe 5 cents, but goes a LONG way with a customer.
This is a fine example of a chain restaurant getting it right. I have yet to have a bad experience here. The only thing from a management perspective that bothers me a tiny bit is that there always seems to be a congregation of female employees standing at the front with nothing to do while one usually does all the work.
Manhattan’s days of having to live with LABC and Longhorn Steakhouse are over! Texas Roadhouse is where it’s at.

Food was delicious and menu prices were what you would expect. The serve fresh hot rolls with a cinnamon butter as they seat you and there is a bucket of peanuts on each table.
However, it is extremely loud and I could not hold a full conversation with my friends at our booth. It was hard to hear what was being said over the loud music and atmosphere.

Great food, I ordered it to go. It did take a while to get my food once I got there at my appointed time, but they were slammed because it was a K-​State football game day. The employees made it more enjoyable– they were so friendly and went out of their way to offer me extra rolls or a drink while I was waiting. I got the chili and it was GREAT. I would definitely go back again.

Two & Myself in our party ordered the Sirloin special. My steak was barely cooked & looked thicker and not like the others. I couldn’t hardly cut it because of the tough vain in the meat. It was taken back to the kitchen after I complained. By the time I got probably the same steak back because it was same as the other, the other people had finished eaten. I took it in a to-​go box, and threw it in the trash as soon as I got home. That’s where I feel most of their steaks belong, after my experience there.

Very busy but worth the wait. I love the margaritas. Chelsea is a great server (my friend Jade threw money when she was dancing but she put on a show!). Servings are shareable so we come for the dinner Monday through Thursday by 6pm when it starts to get packed. Delicious chili and country fried steak.

Our visit started with a 20 minute wait to be seated after calling ahead to be put at the head of the queue. The atmosphere was very loud, some people may enjoy that. We had the feeling of being rushed. Food came out very quickly and was average quality. We received our bill about 15 minutes into our meal. The wait staff boarders on annoying, we were asked how everything was about every three minutes. All in all it was a good meal that I felt rushed through. If your looking for a good steak in a very vibrant atmosphere and are willing to wait 20 – 45 minutes to be seated, then this is hour place.

Went there today and had a great dinner. Service was fast even though place was crowded. Food was delicious. Alex our waiter was on his A game. Will return in the future.

Since it opened just few weeks ago, wait times are around 60 – 90 minutes. Food is good. Price same as other BBQ joints. Service is good.
Try the ribs.

service was a little slow because this restaurant was busy! The food was fantastic and service quality was excellent!

I have come here three times since it has opened. The service has been consistently good. Had a slow waiter one of the times but it wasn’t something I was overly upset about. If you have been to another location (which I have) this is just another standard location. The wait is pretty long if you come for weekend dinners but any other night you can just walk in and sit down. Free peanuts at every table while you wait. And the butter rolls with apple cinnamon butter is to die for. I have 2 or 3 before dinner and it always fills me up enough that I only eat half my dinner. Everytime I have come to this location I got the pulled pork dinner with house salad and sweet potato. It’s $ 9.99 and definitely worth it. It’s probably my favorite dish here. I have gotten the chicken before elsewhere and it was good as well but the price is kind of steep just for chicken in my opinion. Other than the awkward line dancing that they make the waiters do every couple hours, I have no major qualms about this place. I’m a fan for sure and I’m glad Manhattan has a good casual steakhouse in town other than Longhorns/

Great Service and great food and best of all great Portions. They make the steaks just the way you like them and the price is very reasonable. Interesting ambiance (peanut shells all over the floor), bar area with a couple of flat screen TVs… what more could ya’ ask for? Except for some long horns…
