This is a chain restaurant, but a damn good one. The atmosphere is country meets fine dinning. Compared to Texas Roadhouse this place is quiet as a library. It would make a great date night restaurant. For mid-afternoon the kitchen was pretty slow, but the food was great. I had the shaved prime rib sandwich and it was delicious. The service from Nicole was good. This place is solid 4 stars but just short of 5 stars.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner here a few nights ago, the white cheddar and bacon filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender and delicious. The kids had chicken fried steak which came in huge portions, which my son-in-law had no trouble finishing up because he loved it! We left happy and full — will definitely be going back!

On the lunch menu, among other options, there was a 3 option course of meals(soups/salads/sandwiches) at three different price points… I chose a half salad and soup… It was a most excellent choice! Love the strawberry and chicken salad! And as for the soup… The French onion soup as always! Two of my favorites rolled into one meal with a very nice price! A very happy girl here!

Amazing service! We got very lucky and got a quick server who took great care of us from beginning to end!

This was our first visit to a longhorn steakhouse. Came in on a Friday night for a dinner date since so long saloon was packed. We had a 30 min wait to get seated(typical for a fri night) and snagged a beer from the bar while we waited. Ordered a New York strip onion soup and Caesar salad for dinner. My order was medium rare and came out medium to medium well. I was pretty disappointed that it had been cooked on the flat top and not over a flame and the potato had hardly any cheese or bacon. I thought it was less than impressive for the price I had paid. The salad had almost no dressing on it so I barely ate any of it too. Onion soup was the highlight of the meal which is sad to say for a steakhouse. Our server was very friendly and on point for our meal and she is the main reason I would return to this location in the future. Hopefully the next visit is better than this experience.

I generally have a good experience here in the evenings but it’s not a good lunch spot. Five minute wait today just to be greeted. There was not a line. The place was not overly busy. Someone finally asks if I’ve been helped. They seat me and I have a ten minute wait for a waitress. Lunch arrival after ordering soup and salad was also a lengthy wait. As someone on a time limit for lunch, it’s a 2 star visit today.

Texas Roadhouse has much better for around the same price(or cheaper)

My favorite place to eat around here! Great prices, food and waitstaff. They always cook my steak perfectly! The only dislike is. the knives… Dull as can be. I always feel like I’m sawing wood with them!

Been twice, steak was fork tender and cooked perfect both times. not all the noise and you can even carry a conversation with your dinning mate, unlike the Texas Roadhouse and the steaks were just as good

After several visits I’m NOT impressed in the least. This establishment could care less about take out orders and always shafts you on the portion size when it comes to take out. No matter what you ask for on the phone it inevitably never makes it to the bag when you pick it up. And then when you ask for it you can tack on an additional 10 minutes to your wait. Food… Wasn’t and isn’t all that great. It’s good enough, but not for the cost. My wife does love their lobster tail though. With the addition of the«Texas Roadhouse» to Manhattan I’m thinking Longhorn’s days are numbered unless they pull it together. I’m guessing the only reason they’ve done well for this long is due to location and all the charter buses they manage to trick into coming there. Nothing special here…

Every time I go their I have a problem, undercooked, overlooked, they are out of the special the waiter has been suggested. Food is good once corrected, Mac and cheeses is worth it

Longhorns is my all time favorite restaurant in Manhattan. I always get the crusted parmesan chicken with the steakhouse mac & cheese. It is always delicious and so juicy. I have never been disappointed going here. Sometimes the wait can be kind of long, but it is so worth it!
