Biggest fucking dump I’ve ever stayed in, the bathroom floor was dirty with weird stains all over the walls. The sheets had hair all over them and there was a lot of dirt and crumbs under the bed… I would have felt cleaner sleeping in the grass next to the parking lot!

It was cheap and cleanish. The smell of people smoking outside came into the room all night and it was not tobacco. Also a bit loud as the guy sitting on the stairs talking on his phone and anyone who passed by.
The room is bare and nothing to get excited about. Just a bed and shower with a TV

I’ve been a Motel 6 client for over 20+ years. When I get into a city, first place I go is to M6. After checking in, my son searched the area on other hotels. Come to find out, this M6 was the only place that didn’t have free wifi & complementary breakfast. We paid $ 4.99 for internet that was so slow unable to load files watch videos… Terrible! I don’t even know if they offered military discount! I ended up paying just over $ 60. Less price I could have gone next door to Super 8 with free wifi & complimentary breakfast! I trusted M6 to be lowest price but NOT THIS PLACE!
I DOUBT I’LL EVER GO BACK TO ANOTHER M6.

Honestly, it exceeded my expectations overall. I am moving across the country and just needed a spot to sleep that wasn’t far from the interstate. I read reviews from Unilocal,as well as several other sites on the drive up here, and initially I was worried.
We arrived late, and the young man in the office was welcoming, efficient, and very nice. I have a B.S. in hospitality, so I really appreciate when someone can give me great customer service. The kid was pleasant, and made a comment about my girlfriend’s shirt, which struck up a short conversation. It really made me feel better about having to sleep at a seemingly sketchy motel 6 for the night.
The room was really not awful. It is small, but that’s the point of a motel 6-​a discount, efficiency motel. I expected nothing more. I am always worried about bed bugs when I sleep in hotels, so I did my routine check, and there was no evidence of it. YAY! Everything in my room worked just fine. Everything served its purpose. The room was cleaner than I expected it to be. The shower was small, but again, EFFICIENCY is one of the main focuses for this hotel.
I would definitely not recommend this hotel to someone who is staying longer than a night or two, but for a quick overnight pit stop, this was exactly what we needed at an excellent price (I even got a military dependent discount, woo!). You can’t expect to come to a motel 6 and get the same amenities as a Hilton. It’s comparing apples to oranges.
I will say, however, that the two negative comments I have are: the towels are not unclean, they are old. I know motel 6 screens these reviews, and I HOPE you’re reading this one. The towels in my room appeared stained, but not unclean. There was a hole in one towel, and those towels are so weak and actually painfully scratchy to dry yourself with. Please invest in new towels, motel 6. Second complaint, flies? Don’t know where they’re coming from, but they kept appearing!
Again, you get what you pay for. This place did its job for a night.

Not the greatest hotel. In fact maybe the worst. Ants in the hard wood floor, which was dirty. Shower floor and curtain very dirty and has holes in it. Old tv, remote didn’t work, small thin towels, etc. needless to say not worth $.

I’m giving Motel 6 four stars based on the expectation I had if a 45 $ hotel. It isn’t fair to give Mcdonlads a 1 star because you didn’t get a gourmet burger. This motel was clean, staff was nice, pool, ice, vending, washers… a lot more than most cheap hotels I’ve stayed at. No, it’s not the Plaza, but I didn’t feel gross here. The tv and shower were small. And the remote had bite marks. Gross, ya. But worse for the chewer.

For it’s purpose, it was great. The location was really nice. Our room was clean and the bathroom was as well. You can’t compare these types of hotels to nicer ones like hamptons and holiday inns. For a quick road stop night, we couldn’t have asked for much more. The room did not have a fridge or microwave, however. Also– no bathtub and very small shower. Overall, a very nice experience.

Terrible. We chose this hotel off the top because we thought it was the cheapest option for our brief stay in Manhattan to house hunt. We were charged $ 50 for a single-​bed room. Internet, which we needed access to was available for an additional $ 2.99 per 24/​hour charge. The room smelled like bug spray and we didn’t have any shampoo or even an alarm clock in the room. We found a nearby hotel for $ 11.00 less, with free WiFi, a micro fridge, and carpet in the rooms. This Motel 6 was uncomfortable at best.

Nice hotel but lacks some amenities that other Motel 6 locations have. No fridge & microwave. They renovated all of the rooms. They just changed out the floors and the colors of the bedspreads. The layout of the room looks different but seems the same. Good location though, but I wish it was a tad bit closer to the school. Within walking distance to the grocery store, Wal-​Mart, Hastings & restaurants. Weird people stay here. The other night, my car got hit by someone who was staying at the hotel. Just last night around 3 AM, I get a phone call from someone wanting phone sex.
