Big fan of this place!
The ladies are really nice and do a great job everytime!
Xia is friendly and always asks how she can make the visit more pleasant.
I see Wendy most of times that I go there. She is always super nice, with a great smile, and does a terrific job on my manicures and pedicures. Her chair massage is the best!
The salon is very clean and is very relaxing too.
I definitely recommend!

The ladies at Xia Spa always do an amazing job with my manicures, pedicures, waxing, and massages. And the customer service is unbeatable, with Xia always offering tea in the cold months, water in the warm months… it’s the little extra things that really elevate your mood while you’re at this salon.
The best thing I can say though, is that Xia and Wendy have saved my nails. I came to this salon to get my tips off, which I had been wearing for years. My nails were absolutely wrecked, and the ladies here helped to heal my nails through meticulous work.

You’ll love the peaceful zen atmosphere at Xia Spa. Relaxing music piped in to this ultra clean and modern spa. The owner Xia, makes you feel welcomed offering a hot jasmine or green tea. I’ve always received a perfect manicure /​pedicure –and every month there is a ‘special’ priced treatments. It’s well worth the trip to Waterside!
You must try the Xia signature facial –so wonderful!

NAIL CARE WITH A CONSCIENCE
Impeccable manicures and pedicures in an atmosphere in which customers AND employees are treated with respect and care: you will not leave with that nagging feeling that the woman who did your nails is being mistreated. The care Xia shows her manicurists shows in their work — neither rushed nor disinterested.
And, this is not just a typical nail salon: it truly is a spa, with a spa-​like atmosphere. The space is clean and calm. Patrons are offered tea or water when they arrive, and are not pushed to purchase services they do not want.
As for facials, Xia’s are among the best in the city. She takes her time, and after she applies a masque, she gives the best massage (instead of leaving you alone in the dark). It could not be more relaxing — again, no product-​pushing.
I am luck that I live at Waterside so that Xia Spa is right outside my door. But I would make the trip gladly if I did not.

Ladies, Gentlemen, and Elaine from Seinfeld:
I have found it. The long, painful, coveted search for the single nail salon that does not speak about you in a foreign language in front of your face. Yes, my friends, I had a manicure and massage without one word being said between manicurists, without looks exchanged, just peace.
I just moved to Waterside Plaza and decided to give this place a try. There’s a salon near where I work on LI that’s on $ 7 for a manicure, so I generally will go there, but for an extra $ 3 for comfort and serenity… PRICELESS.
My manicurist was very good and her massage was surprisingly fantastic– not painful on my knots and extremely effective. I can’t tell you her name because I’d be giving away all of my secrets. This place was also very very clean.
Manicure and 10 min massage special cost $ 18 plus $ 1 tax. Nail Salon Nirvana.

Xia spa is a gem! Xia is so wonderful, kind & welcoming. They accommodate every little need of the customer. They have helped me mix different colors for my manicures & were very understanding if I didn’t like the color anymore. I’ve also gone in if a nail broke or chipped & Xia squeezed me in to help me! I love that it is outside my building but it is a really nice, calming, welcoming environment!

I love Xia Spa! The first time I came here for a manicure, I was amazed at the quality. Xia uses a fantastic bottom and top coat and the result is always a perfect, long-​lasting polish job. The environment is extremely relaxing and Xia makes all of her customers feel comfortable and at home. The staff is always very pleasant and accommodating. It is clear that Xia genuinely loves what she does and it shows through her enthusiasm and an excellent end result. Waxing is very good here as well. Xia uses a special type of wax that minimizes pain, one of the specialties here. Overall, Xia Spa is one of my favorite spots to unwind and relax, my whole household comes here and whenever I bring friends here, they love it as well. Definitely come to Xia Spa!

The service here is no different than the cheap $ 10 places around town. The facilities are nicer and clean. But at the end of the day, the end result is the same– mediocre.

This is a very nice relaxing nail spa. Pedicures and nails are great, they take their time in everything. Xia and her staff are very friendly and very attentive to everyone. I love the fact that it’s so convenient to come here from right outside my building. Every month Xia has specials, prices are not too bad either. Definitely a place to come, you’ll leave happy :)
