Don’t come here with high expectations. It’s convenience for Waterside residents is its main value. The ingredients could be better and the service more pleasant. Probably your best bet is to have breakfast here or sit and have coffee.

Really bad. They’re the only close option for Waterside residents and they make minimal effort to please customers. Bagel with cream cheese: bad bagel, hardly toasted, terrible cream cheese Omelette: completely uncooked, might as well have just been raw eggs poured into a container Muffin: terrible just like the bagel. They clearly buy really cheap stuff.

This place was recently refurbished and rebranded. After seeing the outcome I do not understand why. The previous version was cosy, the staff was very friendly and efficient. Two dudes could serve ten customers in no time. Since it reopen there is more staff who seems to be running around with no purpose. The menu is almost the same but the staff is inexperienced, very inefficient, get the orders wrong, and make you wait almost 10 minutes for eggs in a bagel, when you ordered them on a croissant. Besides the new décor does not make me feel like spending time there. What a downgrade for Waterside Plaza.

Terrible food since they reopened, and I’ve been there a few times. Everything is just awful — the salads, the burgers, the breakfast. It’s not worth the journey even if you live in Waterside Plaza.

Stopped in after visiting a resident in the plaza. Saw the Hale & Hearty sign and thought there may be salads, but found soup, pizza, sandwiches, and sweet bakery items instead. Turns out the soups are Hale & Hearty– so I opted for a Chicken Fiesta soup since I wasn’t up for anything heavy. Looks like they have a savory and sweet breakfast selection and the hours are pretty late for a small plaza location. Friendly service, with a very local and regular crowd,

The food is decent here(as far as breakfast is concerned). They’re a little slow to get the food out to you. The pastries aren’t the greatest either. You make due for a place that’s right downstairs from where you live.

This is just an ordinary hybrid café/diner at Waterside. What makes it special is the staff. Service is always fast and the interaction pleasant. After two visits they know my name and anticipate my order. On the downside they are only open till 3PM and are closed on every holiday. They do have an A rating from the health department and WiFi which is a little slow. If you are at Waterside early in the morning this is a must. Lunch time get the Burger they Flame Grill them and have the good pickle slices, reasonably priced for an establishment that has no competition in its immediate area. I know for a fact that food is always fresh and the coffee piping hot. This is the third reincarnation of this Café and by far the most successful except for the hours. Well you can’t have your cake, eat it and then want a slice of someone Else’s pie. At least you can get service with a smile here, that makes me come back on a daily basis.

Cheap, made to order breakfast sandwiches. I got mine with egg whites and pork sausage, which were chopped up links rather than a patty. The cook was nice enough to add some tomatoes too, which he warmed up on the grill. All stuffed into a crusty, toasted roll. Not bad at all for $ 2.99, though a bit messy. Recommended for a quick breakfast that isn’t as grease-laden as a fast food place. They also have grab and go items as well as sandwiches made to order for lunch. Also, you get a free cup of coffee if you check in on Unilocal

Why are you closed on Sundays when I need you the most?

I miss Adams café. Ppl there are nice and friendly. They always bring a smile. I don’t like Robbins nest. Ppl look confused about what they are selling. Things are over priced for poor waterside residents who cannot cross the bridge to enjoy decent price. They don’t quote thier deli item like what Adams café did on a customized spread sheet for sandwich. They keep asking u whatelse do u want like it is included. However when u go to cashier u are being charge extra cluelessly. And cashier will tell u that its ur fault for not reading menu.(it looks confusing too!) Very bad experience I miss Adam café. Not bird nest.
