Yummy Yummy not so yummy!!! Had the breakfast there and for $ 5 you get an omellete, a baguette, and a coffee. The coffee was disgusting(as you can really mess up coffee) and the omellete was bordering on inedible(the veggies were not cooked through and the omellete had the egg whites still runny). How can you mess up breakfast that bad!!!

In a city where there has been an explosion of delicious hummus(Hummus Place, Taim, Hoomoos Asli, etc.) it is unacceptable to have hummus that is grainy and bitter. If Yummy Yummy is reading this, you need to put some love into your hummus and blend it better with more tahini. Also, it doesn’t taste like you are using fresh chick peas, but that might just be from the completely unproportioned amount of lemon you are putting in your hummus. The falafel balls were mushy. The outside of the falafel looked like it had not been cooked long enough. The spice wasn’t even done right. Yummy Yummy is right by my place of work, but I would go to Mahmoun’s in a second over this place. There’s a guy with a yarmulke behind the counter who seems to run/own the place, so I’m quite befuddled at the lack of tradition, authenticity or love in this food. Lastly, and i’m probably in a minority on this, but their s’chug(pronounced skhoog) was bland and impotent as far as heat. I love falafel and hummus, which is maybe why i’m being so critical, but I would probably never come back to this place. It just won’t quell the craving.
