I hate to write reviews about Starbuck$, just a pet peeve of mine. However! This Starbucks is the trippiest Starbucks in New York State. Why? Because its the gateway to the east end. Every person traveling to Foxwood casino, the Hamptons via the LIE(what Hamptons? pick one) as well as Splish Splash, Tanger Mall, Wine Country and the Orient Point Ferry all stop at this particular Starbucks. Me? I stop to get my drink and people watch. I have seen over the years some outrageous looking automobiles, beautiful looking woman as well as the biggest doofus a-holes on the planet. I’m sure being a barista here, they could write a novel on who passes thru these doors. Guess what? Its also a bank! I can use the ATM for free because this location also doubles as a Capital One bank. There are bathrooms, one of them broken so there is a loooooooong wait line. Be respectful when you’re on line. Don’t be on your cell or rude. If you’re rude? I will ask you to STFU and take it outside. Cheers!

This Starbucks gets a ton of traffic from people heading to & from the Hamptons because it’s right on a popular route. It shares the space with a bank, so you can get all pumped up on caffeine and then take out a car loan you really can’t afford! Sweet. The down side of this location is that, probably because of all the transient traffic, the store, the bathrooms, and the parking lot is not all that clean. Not filthy, mind you, but not up to Starbucks usual finicky standards. On the plus side, the staff here are uniformly well trained and friendly. The line may look intimidating, but it goes fast. There isn’t much that would make you want to hang out here, the way some nicer Starbucks stores encourage you to do, but for grab n go coffee, it’s fine. Still, it does provide a very nice spot to grab some good strong coffee on the way to or from the Hamptons. Guido Blend, anyone?

I’d like to make this clear for those of us(like me!) who are unfamiliar with the area and GPSing for a desperately needed latte — when you see a small Starbucks emblem, it is not a mirage — This Starbucks isn’t not«near» Capital One, it IS Capital One! It’s like one of those weird roadie hybrid stops — like Pizza Hut/Dunkin Donuts/Subway combos, except it’s Capital One & Starbucks? Interesting and random all at once,(especially when considering the location) but it certainly gets the job done! The staff was very kind, accommodating, professional and best of all — efficient! I was in and out with my much-needed sandwich & latte and am certainly pleased! My only reason for 4⁄5 stars is the lack of seating — one of my favorite qualities of Starbucks is the atmosphere, one that I can always sit down and get some work caught up on. Unfortunately, this location doesn’t have any seating at all — a bar near a window for resting on, but no seats or any kind of chairs around. The only seating I saw was for capital one specialty banking transactions.

Place is good for a good cup of java, I always get the expresso machiado, and my carpool buddy try the specials and always seems to like them. Pastries are good even though they are brought In. Pre packed.

Right near Capital One(formerly North Fork) and the Hampton Jitney stop/lot, it replaced Grace’s, which I’ll forever be bitter about, especially because the Hamptonites caused something like this to arise and survive(and thrive in the summer).
