Taco Bueno

I have given this location a number of chances over the past year. They have fallen far short of my low expectations every time. Today was no different. I went through the drive thru only to receive a bag of food covered in sauce inside and out (leaving me no choice but to set it in my car and clean it up later) I have been cutting down on sodas but I decided to break down and get one for lunch… they helped me stay on track by giving me a flat dr pepper. It went right in the sink when I got home. I opened my burrito to find that they don’t know how to fold it in at least one end so that everything does not fall out. Total fail… I know I seem like a typical angry reviewer but I rairly do this sort of thing… but I am frustrated to the point of NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN. I would advise you to do the same. It will be worth the drive to go to the next closest location next time.

I was asked to leave and go to the drive threw because the employees wanted to close the lobby early.

I love the tamales. They’re the best I’ve ever had, anywhere — and if tamales are on the menu somewhere, I try them at least once.
If I could change one thing, it would be the limited availability.
Right now, tamales are to Taco Bueno what the McRib is to McDonalds. Why? I need these year round. Pretty please.

When you can hear the employees say «screw the drive thru» from inside your car. Something’s wrong.
It takes at least 15 minutes to get through the drive thru even when they aren’t busy. Not an exaggeration I’ve clocked it at least 5 times. I’ve sat down at a restaurant and gotten food faster than I do here. If I could give this zero stars I would.

First… If you want taco Bueno, drive across town to the new one. Every time I come here they mess up my order… Every time. I must be a glutton for punishment though. I just came here after 6 months ago swearing I would never come back to this location. They again get my order wrong. Missing half and the other half not what I ordered. Mind you I’m not one of those who order anything special or different. After taking my order back and telling the manager it was all wrong, they refunded my money, said they would fix it. I said thank you. They helped 4 customers that were behind me. Then the cashier looks up at me and says «now what did you want to order?» So I repeated my order and he gave me a total price. Now, at this point I got a little confused. They were recharging me for my order and also took care of other customers before me??? Never again!!!

I’ve been to many Taco Buenos but this was the worst experience. The $ 5 menu was not listed and the girl had to list them verbally. Gave her $ 20.41 and she didn’t even count the $ and she claimed we gave her $ 20.36 (bill was $ 5.41 because of BOGO free) and she gave me change back for the latter. I wouldn’t care about a nickel, but when the order came out, One burrito was in a basket and the rest of the order in the 2^nd basket… we didn’t know whose was whose! and no manager around. Terrible terrible service.

We love Taco Bueno, but after this last visit I will have to seriously reconsider ever dinning here again! This was by far the worst experience ever! While placing our order, the guy taking it added several items that we never ordered. We caught it when he told us our total! Next we take a seat and wait for our food… we wait and wait… and stare at dirty tables, and wait.20 mins go by still no food, but others who came in after us got theres. So we inquire as to where our order was. They all were confused saying they made it, to it got bumped off the screen. Who knows! They promise to make it right away… so we wait and wait.15 mins later I’m about to get up and demand a refund, when here comes our food… except it was wrong! so we waited again! We finally get out food after 35 mins (long for fast food don’t ya think?) we eat and still stare at the dirty tables. After we all use the restroom, and was about to vomit our dinner when we saw how unclean the restrooms were! There was urine on the floor, the trash was overflowing. it was just very unsanitary! And these people made the food we just ate! There are plenty of choices for fast food in the area… just go somewhere else… it’s quit obvious that these people just don’t want to work and could care less!

Ok, you may think I’m a bit crazy, but I go absolutely nuts over Taco Bueno. Have for as long as I can remember. Maybe it’s nostalgia or personal preference, but you just can’t beat a been burrito from Taco Bueno!!! They don’t have these where i live now, so every time I come up to the Fort Worth area, I always, and I do mean ALWAYS seek these out! My wife has just accepted the fact that one meal will ALWAYS be Taco Bueno when we are up in this area! This particular one was well kept and clean inside. Service was fast and friendly. BTW — grab a few extra burrito’s to take back home for the following day! :-)

It’s affordable and they have .49 cent tacos on Thursdays. Best thing about this place is they have a very clean lobby and salsa area.
Only reason why I took away a star is because the bean burritos are tiny!

We love Taco Bueno. The menu has changed since we were kids but the food recipes have remained the same. Love it!

Great Tex Mex. The beans can’t be beat, and most everything is made from scratch.

This was my second Taco Bueno trip — and I didn’t care for the food. Had a brisket taco (which wasn’t as good as the last time), a taco (which was okay), and a combo burrito (which was fair).

I did not go to this Taco Bueno location, but I am sure the portions and prices are the same all over. I can not believe the charge what they charge for a steak burrito and not even give you steak in there. Taco Bell’s Grilled Steak Burrito gives you more and tastes the same for half the price. Sorry but this is a boycott!!!
