Love this place when I want to eat clean but not leave me feeling guilty after eating a juicy burger. I can’t believe I’m saying this for a fast food chain but it’s true! The best part is my own customized burger. You can get some really lite ones. If you’re calorie counting or just watching what you eat I have a tip. Order a double meat protein style with no salt on the patties(cooked fresh without it), with only lettuce tomato and onion. Protein style uses no bun. It comes out unbelievably delicious. I’ve been doing this when The little one is craving burgers. I can still get away with eating clean and not feeling totally miserable.

My first experience with In-N-Out. I heard great things about this place and decided to try it out. My food did not turn our the way I want. Next time I am in Mansfield, I wouldn’t mine giving it another try.

ahhhh the memories. Our first visit to In and Out in Cali when my kids were young(now graduated) was excellent. The burgers great and the fries fresh. I can NOT express by dissappointment during this visit. Burgers that were good, not great and fries that were not much different than what i’ve had at any other fast food burger joint. I set the expectations high with my daughter(now 20 something…) and what we got was, well, lackluster. Think I will go somewhere else next time…

The burgers were great, the lettuce was crisp and fresh. The fries were right out of the fryer but lacked the crunchy fresh taste. Maybe that’s just how the fries are at this franchise, not my favorite.

My 2 Star rating I think is mainly due to the overhyped expectation of an In-N-Out Burger joint. For this place to be compared to Shake Shack I have no idea why. Because I live in the North East so Shake Shack is supposedly our version of the In-N-Out…dang was this a bad comparison. If I’m doing a comparison, Shack Shack is A LOT better, more flavor, more options and etc. and I can go on with the list of why this place CANNOT compare, but that’s not why I’m here, I’m only here to review In-N-Out and that’s it. So let’s get to it shall we? In-N-Out has very few choices, I think the burger option was just a cheeseburger, hamburger and a double hamburger? Personally I chose the hamburger and we got animal fries and a drink. When we got our food it looks amazingly appetizing. The buns were perfect and the burger in general was really pretty and appetizing looking. But looks can be deceiving… the hamburger legitly only tastes like meat, veggies and a bun together, no juiciness, no amazing sauce to hold it together… it was just a dry NORMAL hamburger. Okay so the burger was a little under $ 3.00 but it was just… normal??? At that point I didn’t see the hype at all… surfacing all over the place on tumblr and over misc sites… I always see this In-N-Out and yet I’m so disappointed… The animal fries were the only thing that I thought was good and ever so slightly different(even then it’s basically a different version of a chili cheese fries) and even that didn’t turn my head away from the disappointment of the burger itself. And to add to the 2 Star, the service was very bland. I guess it’s to be expected of a fast food joint, but in my opinion if you’re part of a hyped up joint, I’d expect you’d be very chipper… I felt like a McDonalds has happier looking workers. Also they’re not really quick when it comes to clearing and cleaning out empty tables. I feel like since it’s a very crowded fast food place that they’d have a person in charge of running to a table and wiping it down before another set of customers take the seat, but in this case we didn’t see anyone going around wiping tables. The tables were left as is and it’s up to the customers to wipe it up when we sit down. I guess… don’t come here if you’re looking to try the hyped up In-N-Out. It’s a perfectly alright place if you want a cheap, normal burger and some fries, but even McDonalds tastes better in my opinion(just not as photogenic). I’m sorry for the fans out there that’s been waiting to try this place, but you still can… I’m just warning you before you have this image of a perfect tasting burger instilled while eating here.

As someone who lived in Arizona we were excited to get In-N-Out here. It was always one of our favorite places for a chain burger. If you haven’t been your missing out. When you go in don’t let the menu board fool you. They have secret menu! I always get 4×8 animal style burger. Nothing like a little heart attack to start your day. 4 patties 8 pieces of cheese. The fries are a must animal style as well. This is always a fail safe for our family if we want a quick burger. Those that are expecting a whatabuger place this is not it.

I have eaten burgers at many places and at home. It is one of my favorite foods. I had a cheeseburger here, a 1 – 2, or one meat patty and two slices of American cheese. This was an outstanding cheeseburger. The bun was like homemade. It was fluffy and crispy. The tomato and lettuce were fresh. The tomato slice was bun size. I know this is written too much when it doesn’t apply, and, everybody has a different palate, but for my money this is the place to go for burgers. The problem is, except for out West, there are almost none. And value! You cannot get a ready-made hamburger at any fast food place for the price of these gourmet burgers. The cheeseburgers here were 2.50, and, they were sizable. They prepare them to your specifications and they are cooked to order. The orders of fries were huge, crispy and freshly made. They were just 1.65! I honestly did not want to leave because I knew it would be a while before I got another In-N-Out burger. Even though prepared after you order, they are pretty fast at delivering the food to your table. The place is super clean, has a wonderful color scheme and a very polite and friendly staff. Unless this was an anomaly, you cannot go wrong. If you come across one of these restaurants, do yourself a favor and go in. You will not regret it. There is no other burger place in its class. I am literally astounded. Check out my other reviews. You will find only one other five star.

I was in Ft. Worth for a conference last month, and was headed back home to Houston when I passed this place. I wasn’t planning to stop so soon after getting on the road, but I made an exit. I haven’t had In-N-Out Burger in almost twenty years — that’s how long it’s been since I’ve visited California. To see one in Mansfield was completely random! This place didn’t disappoint. It was extremely clean, friendly, and quick. I thoroughly enjoyed my burger and fries, and the family with the screaming child that decided to sit next to me didn’t even ruin my burger utopia. The one thing that I did forget from my first experience is that this place is serious with the onion. Christ. It is a very thick slice that they put on your burger — it kinda made tears come to my eyes. No matter. I was driving alone so the only person that I offended was myself. I don’t know what DFW is doing right to deserve the In-N-Out Burger franchise, but Houston we have a problem. You need to fix this.

I must say… how can you go wrong with In n Out burger. They have like 6 items on their menu and guess what, after years of operating in California they have mastered those 6 things. I ordered the glorious Double Double with cheese and grilled onions, and some animal style fries(secret menu item)! The food was freshly made while I watched and the staff all looked happy to work. The young lady who helped me was rushing because her shift was ending but it was an easy order. I sat, ate my food and then placed an order to go back to Houston with me. The assistant manager who prepared my order was nice enough to separate the burger and double wrap everything for the long drive home.

This was my first visit to an In-N-Out Burger. I happen to be traveling and my travels took me next door to Discount Tire so this was as good a time an any to visit them. They have been hyped up and I wanted to see what all the hype was all about. I was greeted cheerfully by the person at the counter and he took my order and gave me a receipt and I was told that I would be called when my order was ready. After a short wait I picked up my order at the counter and proceeded to the condiment station for some ketchup. I ordered a Double-Double combo with cheese and fries and I got a strawberry shake. Their burgers are not as big in size as Five Guys but it was delicious. It was cooked to my satisfaction and the cheese was melted and the bread was extremely soft. The fries were also cooked to my liking, a mixture of not too hard or too soft. My shake was thick enough that I had to wait a few minutes to be able to suck it up my straw. And to top it off my counter person came around to ask me if everything was fine and did I need anything! Now that’s what I call service. It was one of the cleanest fast food restaurants that I have ever seen., I will definitely return to try other menu items when I return to this area in the future.

This was probably the most cleanest fast food joint i have ever been too. While visiting TX and finding out that In N Out is in Dallas, and even better 5 mins from where my cousins live. This was a no-brainer first stop from the airport. I ordered the double, double why not, a milkshake and fries. The burger was really, really, good, two juicy patties with cheese oozing out, what more could one ask for. I ordered a strawberry milkshake in which one of my cousins reminded me that it tasted like a popular ice cream back in Ghana, yeah it hit me then. The fries really were the low light of the meal, just didnt like it. Since i have tried a lot of chains on the East Coast, this is a solid No 2 behind my favorite Shake Shack. Also service was really friendly.

My ultimate go to place after an intense workout session. Learn the secret menu, it will guide you to the most epic fast food burger experience ever. I personally love the #1 combo animal style. Which is basically a double double with caramelized onions, extra Thousand Island spread, mustard grilled patties, and extra pickles! I like it spicy so I tell them to add chopped up chilis to my burger And order my fries well done which makes it extra crispy. I enjoy everything a side of ketchup and extra chili peppers. Heaven!

Gotta love some In and Out Burger! After coming from Chipotle and being disappointed, it was great to walk in here and get awesome customer service from Austin and some great food. The restaurant was very pleasant and very clean! Kudos to you In and Out!

Was pleasantly surprised to learn that In-N-Out exists in Texas. Had seen it all over California, but didn’t know they went this far west. Fast food, but they’re good at it. You know the drill: burgers, fries, shakes. Secret menu, wink wink. I always go protein style because I don’t like too many carbs and I don’t mind getting messy.

Stayed in Mansfield for a week. Planned on hitting up Whataburger while I was in town to eat a decent burger. Saw In-N-Out and went wild!!! Didn’t realize that they had moved into the Texas area yet. I had read that they were planning on expanding from Cali so when I saw this, I was excited. I haven’t eaten at an In-N-Out Burger for over 5 years because I am never in Cali so I had to look up the secret menu again. Ordered two 2×1’s grilled mustard style with chopped chilis and a whole grilled onion. Absolutely fantastic. I never realized you could get the option for grilled mustard style(they cook the burgers with mustard) and I will now be doing this to all of my burgers. Service was friendly but let’s be honest. you don’t go here for the service. You come for those mouth watering burgers!

How in the world are folks giving In-N-Out anything less than four stars?! It’s the In-N-Out you know and love. The staff is friendly, the food is fresh and awesome and served in a ridiculously clean fast food environment. It should be noted that they don’t accept American Express or Google Wallet(like the California locations do).
