Uncle Bo’s

This place used to be great, i dont know what happened, but we are done with them. Cold food that looks like it was prepared by untrained monkeys. This was strike 3. Too many good places in Mansfield now to put up with crappy food. Bye bye Uncle schmoes.

Not only is the food always fresh and the meals always delicious, but the Uncle Bo himself is a great guy. Everyone in my office loves it here. he has real pure cane sugar on tap. And only a $ 3 delivery charge!

I’ll admit, I was skeptical of this burger eatery as my girlfriend and I pulled up to the restaurant. It was small, and rather empty, but the décor is fantastic and clearly has had a lot of thought put into it. For dinner I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, and I’ve got to say this is easily one of the most underrated locations in the city. Quality food, quality design, quality staff. I can’t emphasize enough about how kind and approachable the man who helped us when we ordered was. This is a must for any burger connoisseur

This was our first time here and the burger was good. I will definitely come back. The owner served us was very personable

Food was good but my burger was raw in places. I’ll ask them to fully cook it if I return.

I had it delivered and they got my order correct, arrived quickly, and the food was great. This was my first time trying Uncle Bo’s and I’ll definitely order again. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich with fries — cheesesteak was good… Pretty standard and it was nice and hot when it arrived. It also came with au jus sauce which was a nice surprise. I asked for the «famous» fries, which I would definitely recommend. Crunchy, seasoned fries. Overall good food, good price, and a nice option for delivery. There’s no minimum order but there is a $ 3 delivery fee. Will definitely order from them again.

We have given this place sooooo many chances. I actually want to like it because it’s so close to us and has such a variety of food options. Our order has been wrong every.single.time. From no bacon on my husband’s «bacon» cheeseburger, putting tomatoes on my sandwich after being asked not to… to forgetting about our order altogether! The icing on the cake was when we dined in and had to sit there listening to the owner gripe about an employee who got too drunk the night before and didn’t come to work… I don’t want to hear any of that nonsense while I’m eating. I am SO sad that we don’t like this place.

I’ve been to Bos a few times, because my boyfriend bought Groupons here.
The turkey club here is amazing, by far one of the best clubs I’ve ever had. I’ve also had the po boy and burger here. Both were pretty good.
I really like the food here, the staff however I am not a fan of at all. The few times I have been here, we’ve had very weird encounters with who I am guessing is the owner?
I would probably come again for the food, but most likely take the order to go.

The best turkey burgers are here! Come and try them… My first time here was great! The owner and staff are so friendly, and are so welcoming. I will come more often to challenge this huge menu. I really like this Deli. very close to my home and I’m glad. Come out and try it!

I have eaten at this place 2 times. The first time it was great. The food was delivered in a timely manner and the quality was great. The second time I order it, it was RIDICULOUS! I could not believe how bad the food was. They took over an hour to deliver the food and when my kids got there food they couldn’t eat any of it. The fries were soggy and wet, the buns on the burgers were the same. My potatoe was cold and the cheese was soggy. I had to run out and get other food for my kids and myself. I think the owner needs to fire everyone that works there and start over. It was so bad that I just can’t order from there because I just can’t have that happen again.

We stopped here on a road trip to Houston and had a wonderful experience! We had catfish po’boys that were absolutely delicious! The owner came out to chat with us and our dogs and was so friendly and welcoming! If we’re driving through the area again, it is a definite stop!

This place has some great food. Truly a good place. Philly cheese steak and chicken fried steak are probably the best in town. I think they may have a bit too much on their menu. They should probably cut it down a little. They may wish to add more than just cookies in a dessert section. I’ll definitely be back.

Wondering if this place has new ownership? We had not been here in a while but always love their burgers, fries and friendly neighborhood service. Last night was a completely different experience. Placed our to go order at the counter and asked a favor. Could you not put the fries in a styrofoam container as the steam makes them soggy by the time I get home. Your fries are great and I don’t want them to be soggy. The young man taking my order looked confused and turned to the gentleman at the next register (owner? manager?). He responded that’s the problem with to go orders. Well can you put them in a paper bag. I’ll see if we can find one.
I was with my grandson and he wanted a cookie. The oatmeal raisin cookie was hard as a brick.
Upon arriving home, not separate container for the fries. Somehow I got the greasy, limp version. No side of sauce as I requested. Grandson’s mac-​n-​cheese very average. Burger was simple plain. In a time when great burger joints are on every corner, how do you compete by offering average?
While we waited, dining room was not clean. They have removed all booths — why? Cleaning supplies, rags and someone’s papers working on the schedule or orders all sitting on a table at the front. C’mon — it’s not that hard.
Probably won’t be back. Too many better choices.

So it was a descent place. There menu is HUGE! I went with a Habanero Jalepeno burger. It was a good size and spicy. I also liked that you could choose what kind of cheese you wanted on the burger. Best thing to me was the Bo’s famous fries. Nice and crispy along with being very fresh. Burgers come with fries so for the price i thought it was a good deal. Also got a side of there seasoned fries which I thought where ok. They where fresh cut potatoes though and was a good sized portion. There fountain drinks where pure cane sugar drinks which is always a score to me. I tried the Cola and Rootbeer. Burgers where made to order and came out very fast which was impressive. The guy working the counter was very patient with all the questions I had about the menu. He recommended the Italian Po Boy which I think I will try next time. They also do breakfast there so good excuse to go back a couple more times to try things.

Wowzers!!! This place is awesome! I got the chicken fried steak sandwich and fries. The fries had a great flavor and crispy! The sandwich itself was amazing! Great flavor and the steak had such a great taste. I would highly recommend this place. The owner was great, extremely generous and helpful. Kudos to the chef Carlos! Food was cooked to perfection!

(don’t worry, I ate some of his club too, it was also one of the best clubs I’ve ever had!)
And of course I must tell you about service. Also a plus plus for us. Smiling faces, and also a manager walking around helping and talking to costumers, instead of hiding in the back of the store like you tend to notice at most places. Something we always like to see. Good food should always follow good service!
To make a long story short. The atmosphere, the sandwiches and the ice cold beer has stolen our heart and Uncle Bo’s will be seeing much more of us!

Terrible! The fries were wet and greasy! The burger had way too much mayo and it was not seasoned well! It tastes as though the person making it, didn’t care about their business! I will never go back!

Burger was just shy of being OK. The meat tasted like the boxed burger patties i ate when i was a kid. The fries were cold and they had no lids for the to go cups.
Its a little discouraging when the young lady responsible for taking orders and serving food shirt is dirty. Please use an apron next time.
They had a super full menu so maybe they have something else that may prove to be a better lunch option.

We had another expired Groupon and decided to come here, it just keeps getting better!
This location is closer to where we live now, so with or without a Groupon we will be coming back!
And was pleasantly surprised how good we liked the Reuben nice soft rye bread different than most places, and I asked for extra pickles and actually got them! They were so good, I hate having a sandwich with no pickle they go hand and hand!
