Having worked on a farm and cooked what I raised. If you choose a steak and know how to ask to have it cooked. This place hits the mark. My steak is always where I want it(rare — cause anything else is burnt) one time it was overcooked one of the managers was quick to get one on my plate the way I wanted

The bread is amazing and the staff was great! Super friendly. Though my steak was very chewy. I think I got the wrong kinda but still good. The mash potatoes were good but got hard fast. Also had s 30 min wait and there is peanuts for you while you wait. Pretty cool. Overall a good time.

General: it’s a chain and it’s consistent Pros: food is good, hurricane margarita is great! Cons: pretty much always busy. Conclusion: recommended for dinner and/or drinks, just make sure you have time to wait.

We’ve been here numerous times in the past for random family outings, but tonight, my mother and I wanted something«different» for dinner and rather than go to the nearby Chilis(which we also frequent) we decided to eat here after not having been for years. I ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger and I have to say… That was the BEST burger I have EVER had. We ordered the Cactus Blossom(fried onion cut to look like a blooming flower) for an appetizer and had some left over when our meal arrived. I put some of those on my burger along with the bacon and that’s where I get the«best burger I’ve ever had» from. The bun itself was huge and toasted perfectly. The steak fries had a generous amount of seasoning on them, but it was so sooooo good. My mother ordered a 6 oz. steak, baked potato, and corn. She said the steak was«melt in your mouth» good. I have to admit, everything we had on our table looked delicious and everything I had was INDEED delicious! Our waiter continually brought us new glasses so we were never out of drink, he was very good about checking on us without hovering as well. We will most definitely be back. That bacon burger guaranteed that hahaha!

The price, variety, atmosphere, and consistency of food at Texas Roadhouse is really unbeatable. I have been here at least 15 times and all but twice the service has been really great. Our food has always come in a timely manner, been hit when it arrived. We have never run out of drinks or bread. Steaks are always cooked perfectly and our salads or apps always come before the entrée and pretty quickly! Our specialized orders have never been wrong either! I always get the sirloin and shrimp with loaded mash and a Caesar. SO much food. It’s the perfect giant, obnoxious, Texas dinner for Friday night! It’s the perfect sized steak, perfectly cook and lots of good sized shrimp loaded with flavor! At a very reasonable price. My only con which is ALWAYS a HUGE frustration… the wait. Almost any day after 4pm there is at least a 20min wait and their whole system is a mess. I’ve tried calling ahead and it didn’t seem to be any advantage. People just stand around in the doorway and even when there are 10 hostesses you apparently can only checkin or be seated with one which makes no sense. They encourage you to download an app to see where you are in the wait but it’s outrageously inaccurate. It said there were 20 parties ahead of me when there were only like 10 people waiting. I was seated like 3 minutes later. It’s a mess and this is usually a reflection on poor table turn over.

It’s everything Texas, what more do you want? From the hot cinnamon buttered rolls to those peanut shells on the floor, sometimes Texans just want Texas. It was super crowed at 5:00 Saturday before Father’s Day and we thought we’d have to wait. Nope we were seated immediately. Guess there were a lot of big parties. Our waiter was great. He was quick, fun, and friendly. We started with the cheese fries and those were good. Lots of gooey cheesy coverage per fry. Hubs got a NY Strip that was tasty and cooked perfectly medium well. One kid got the ribs and those were just ok. I’ve had better. Another got mac and cheese. Yep, the good old yellow and blue box kind, except I can cook it 100 times better. This was just thick and stuck together. You roll that dice with kids mac and cheese though. Overall it satisfied our Texas steak cravings and that waiter killed it.

It’s been months since I have come in, it’s father’s day weekend and we took our dad out to dinner. Wait time was only 15minutes! That’s impressive! Our server was mari, and she was the best server we have ever encountered. She was so polite, even when they were extremely busy she kept our glasses full, our table clear and was on top of her game! Best experience and I’ll definitely be back! BTW the father’s day special was amazing and yummy. Sirloin was cooked perfectly. Awesome job! Definitely suggest asking for mari(maa-d) is how it’s pronounced.

This is the best location I’ve been to. The delicious 14 oz ribeye is a steal! And of course, the rolls! You can’t forget those babies! The entire staff is professional and friendly. The bartenders are great and stay on top of your needs. Their call ahead seating is a nice touch on busy weekends. :)

Went for my birthday on a Monday evening. Perhaps it was late afternoon. I had received a coupon via email for a free appetizer. Having been to the location on I-20 in Grand Prairie we had a pretty good idea of what to expect. The«party» consisted of my wife, our large, meat eating son, and myself. Got seated immediately. We loved the display of meat options as you walk in. My wife made it a point to tell every employee within earshot from the entry to the person that sat us that it was my birthday. They could all tell by the look on my face that I was not going to enjoy a rousing round of «Happy Birthday» so they abstained. I was grateful. Our server, Danica, arrived at our table immediately after we were seated to get our drink orders. My wife was thrilled that they carry Coca-Cola. My only complaint came at this point in the experience. I really wanted a quality beer to go with my upcoming steak but all that was available was the ubiquitous macro brews that all taste the same. I ordered water; same taste but free. We quickly decided on the cheese fries for the free appetizer. It didn’t take my son long to inhale two of the rolls with the delicious cinnamon butter. I managed to snag one out of the basket before he tried for his third. Then out came a large plate of steak fries smothered in cheddar cheese and bacon bits. We all three had our fill with a few left over. It didn’t take me long to decide that I wanted the New York Strip steak and a baked potato. I knew my son would have is eyes set on the Brontosaurus Porterhouse because that’s the way he is normally, instead he asked me what I suggested for him. I advised that he also get the NY strip because it is the truest steak on the menu. He wanted double corn as his sides. My wife doesn’t really care much for hunks of steer flesh, and having enjoyed ribs earlier in the week, she opted for the Chicken Fried Chicken w/house salad and mashed potatoes. When Danica took our meal order and I told her I only wanted a loaded baked potato she said«But you are paying for two sides, how about I bring you another potato to take home. Sold! In what seemed like no time at all our meals were table side. At first glance it all looked perfect. Danica asked me and my son to check our steaks for proper cooking before she stepped away. They were both a perfect Medium Rare, tender, dark pink, and JUICY. Yum! Danica asked if we needed any A-1 or other steak sauce. I shot her a dirty look and she immediately apologized and explained that she was obligated to offer. Our steaks were delicious and oh, so tender never to be contaminated with a sauce. The potato with fixin’s was a perfect accompaniment. My wife, however, was not so impressed with her Chicken Fried Chicken. I didn’t tell HER but that’s what you get for ordering chicken at a steak place. I learned my lesson a few months earlier on my son’s birthday when I order prime rib at Saltgrass. I won’t make that mistake again. The service this entire visit was fantastic. Not one of our drink glasses ever made it to empty before a fresh glass was offered. Check-ins were perfectly timed. Thank you, Danica. Needless to say, we all saw it necessary to take a good portion of our meals home. The next day I ate my remaining steak and second potato for lunch at work after heating it in a microwave for two minutes. It was now a solid medium but it was still TENDER. I loved being able to enjoy that meal a second time. Overall this was a very pleasant dining experience and a great value for the money. Only one somewhat dissatisfied customer but she was satiated by the rolls and butter(carb junkie). The only factor that prevents me from giving 5 stars is the beer selection. With all of the great local beers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area there is no reason to only offer the mega beer swill. Still looking forward to my next trip.

Ordered fried pickles as appetizer and they were so salty that we could not eat them which was delivered at exactly the same time as our salads. I ordered blue cheese dressing and it had no blue cheese flavor at all. Steaks were cooked ok but mine was only warm — not hot. Butter would not melt on baked potato and both mine and my husbands steaks were overly salty as were my sons chicken strips and we normally add salt. The rolls and the service were very good but over all would not return to this location.

It was a birthday celebration and I wanted a taste of Texas cuisine. My sister and her family had been here before and we had not. We were a group of 7 people and the squeezed us in a little booth until we complained and the extended our table to accomodate us all. RIBS — My mother ordered the ribs. She said it was good. And they were flavorful. STEAKS — they were not cooked to my request as it came back medium not medium rare, although it was still tender. SERVICE — not very good. We asked about the complimentary peanuts and she kept insisting it was in the bucket but when she looked at the bucket on the table, it was empty. There’s a reason we asked for the peanuts — we have none! She brought back half the bucket and we had to refill it ourselves. They were also taking down the Christmas decorations wirh the dust coming our way. It was not very professional. They also stepped on the seats with their dirty shoes. It’s been raining all day. Our waitress brought my mom her salad and spilled the dressing all over the salad. There’s a reason why she asked for it to be on the side. She didn’t want the dressing doused all over the salad. They need a lesson in service. ATMOSPHERE — a homey fun atmosphere. They offer bowls of salted peanuts in the shell and you just throw the shells on the floor.

We would come here more often but I must say the noise level is beyond acceptable! The happy birthdays singing consist of about 10 servers screaming/yelling from the top of there lungs after a long day of work this is not where I will come to eat anytime soon!

Gotta love Texas Roadhouse!!! Great food and the best rolls. Yum! Yum! Our server Jazz was great. He gave us friendly and quick service. And he did his job with a song. We could hear him singing as he completed the rest of his duties around us. He help to make the experience very pleasurable.

I am amazed by the quality of food here. The steaks taste as good as Del Frisco’s or Ruth Chris for a third of the price. Every time our steak is cooked perfectly to order. The sides are equally just as good. The baked potatoes are perfect with a salted skin, the salad is served chilled with fresh tasty dressing, mushrooms are delicious. The service is excellent. This is my newest favorite restaurant. My only complaint is that I didn’t discover it sooner due to thinking it was going to be like their disappointing competition. Doesn’t even compare. Giving it my first 5 star rating.

A group of 8 after church. A good test of a restaurant. Our server, Katelyn was efficient, pleasant & frequently refilled our drinks. She was great in spite of being busy with several tables. I got a sirloin medium. It was closer to medium rare but better under-cooked than over. My only other issue was that my wife’s sweet potato didn’t arrive & had to be re-ordered. This location has never disappointed. Good quality for the money & a well-run operation. Great job, Katelyn! You impressed.

Texas Roadhouse was very delicious and a drastic improvement over Logan’s Roadhouse. The environment is a mix of Outback and Logan’s but much tidier than Logan’s. I love how you can select your own cut of meat(Ribeye) prior to seating. The rolls are delicious as well as the cinnamon butter spread. «Yummmm, Texxxxxas Babaay!»

We went here for my boyfriend’s birthday. This is our go-to place we both like steak and he loves seafood. So we usually satisfy both of our cravings here. It was an extremely busy Friday night and we did the whole call ahead seating. Which seemed to be ok, we knew regardless we would have to wait. The parking lot was crazy had to park a ½ mile away. But once we got seated it wasn’t even too noisy, it was nice we had a great server that was attentive and nice. I made the birthday guy try Prime Rib for the first time. I know it’s crazy he’s never had it. So talk about mouth watering Prime Rib. It made me jealous. He loved it and everything we had was great, ASALWAYS.
