I recently just got married at Atam Winery and it was more perfect than I could have imagined! The winery itself has gorgeous grounds, not to mention the views! The staff was absolutely amazing and so helpful. The owners Denis and Irmi were also fantastic! They helped me throughout the whole process and I never felt once like they didn’t go ABOVE and BEYOND! All my questions were answered in a more than timely fashion and Denis personally made sure to help me find vendors if I could not find something I was looking for. Hands down amazing and I would highly recommend them for your wedding– so much quantity and quality for the price!

I wanted to like the wine here due to it’s close proximity to Tildio(I’ve been a member there for years) but the wine is simply not good. Not passable, not ok, not forgettable, but seriously terrible. The Syrah is thin and unbalanced, the Malbec is bitter, and the Gewürztraminer is unbearably sweet. We bought a bottle to provide some level of support to the winery, though I won’t even give it as a gift. If the property was less garish I’d understand as many startups go through years of trying and failing, but there is clearly money here, and it is apparent the owners would rather have more of it than invest it into production. I strongly recommend Karma, Lake Chelan Winery and their sister winery Wapato Point Cellars, Cairdeas, and even Vin du Lac. I held off on writing this review until I saw them on Hotel Impossible which sealed my suspicion about their desire for fame and fortune over quality. Skip it!

I’ve been to Atam for multiple wine tastings and a wedding ceremony and reception. Aside from the wine which is unique a extremely flavorful the owners and staff are phenomenal. They remembered us from our last visit last year! They go above and beyond to make sure the experience is the best in Chelan. It’s next to impossible to have a bad time at this winery. The views and setting is breathtaking, a great spot in Chelan. You won’t be disappointed!

This is my favorite winery hands down. They have the most unique and exquisite wines. The staff are friendly, helpful and passionate about what they do. Vacationing to Chelan is a tradition in my family and now visiting Atam Winery is a tradition as well. Visit the tasting room and you’ll see what I’m talking about. The beautiful view of Chelan and Wapato Lake are worth the trip to Atam in Manson and the wine and experience at Atam are second to none. Can’t wait to come back to visit here next time we are in town!

Great location. The view is great! The taster, Lucy was very sweet. She asked if we would like to sit outside and she could serve us our tastings out there. We took her up on it and didn’t regret it with the awesome view. The wines were not good. I wanted to like the, so bad because of the view and how sweet Lucy was… but NONE out of the 3 tasted were any good. We then got classes of sangria that were served in margarita glasses… Somehow margarita glasses nod sangria just done tie into the German theme the winery is attempting. We then asked for a cheese plate. I kid you not, the cheese plate had saltine crackers, butterfly crackers, a snack size pack of hummus, almonds, pistachios, two baby bel cheeses and a slim Jim. An actual slim Jim. Still in its slim Jim packaging. It was then served on a plate with the Saran Wrap still on with a knife taped to it. I could not believe how classless and thoughtless their cheese plate was. It was like they got the idea from 7 – 11 or something. We were actually embarrassed for the place to be serving this. I wouldn’t serve my guests that in my own home! Atam, with your great location and sweet staff member, Lucy you have potential… you just need to get it together. Work on perfecting the wine you produce. And if you are even thinking about offering a cheese plate, completely revamp it. You CANNOT be serving that!!! Save any more embarrassment and throw the slim Jim’s away. P. S. Lucy’s desire to learn more about wine was refreshing. Invest in an employee like her and get her some more wine education. She is sweet and friendly and has potential!
