Panda Express

I hate writing bad reviews but my husband and I had a very bad experience here. We both came here on Friday night and ordered our usual meals. My husband wanted to try something different and ordered the Chefs Special. Yeah, that was a horrible idea. I had 1 piece and my husband finished his entrée. Later that night my stomach was unsettled and I was in and out of the bathroom all night. My husband had it worse and was not able to sleep all night. He was in and out of the bathroom and throwing up all night. We had to cancel plans on Saturday because we were not able to hold anything down. On Sunday, that was when we were both starting to feel better, but just the thought of solid food was a horrible idea.
We have been here numerous times and this time will be our last. We love food and we have never had a bad experience anywhere we have eaten until that day.

Panda express is a good place if you’re on diet and dying for a good asian food because of the nutritional info right in front of you when you order food plus the manager in manteca area in nice and friendly.

On 08/​08/​2015 Sunday afternoon around 6:30pm I went in to one of Panda’s Express restaurants located at 2130 Daniels Street in Manteca, CA.
It practically took me 15 Minutes to order. It seemed as though the restaurant was short on staff that day.
So I ordered a 2 plate entrée with vegetables with teriyaki chicken and chicken mushroom.
I noticed there was not any vegetables and the worker there said that they would be up soon. I payed for the food, sat and waited for my order. As I am sitting, I notice other customers receiving their food promptly and as ordered. So I waited patiently and assumed the vegetables were in process of cooking.
After 30 minutes of waiting I impatiently got up and asked the manager Karin what was the hold up with my order. I saw her instruct the chef that customers are waiting for vegetables and I noticed he was just barely preparing the vegetables.
Are you kidding me!!! Waiting a full 30 minutes plus the 15 minutes waited to order and the chef just now started making the vegetables.
That infuriated me. It is irresponsible and no lack of management. The restaurant itself was filthy as I had to sit on a dirty table and floor while waiting for my food.
So when the vegetables were ready, guess what happened next. The food they served for me on standby was on the counter away from the heat lamps while waiting for vegetables. After the vegetables were done, one of the workers proceeded in serving the vegetables to the same food which would be my plate of teriyaki chicken and mushroom chicken waiting on stan-​by. Unbelievable.
I guess the workers figured It would be ok with me eating cold chicken and hot vegetables. I asked if they can please serve me another plate since the stan-​by plate was cold and the manager agreed.
Well, guess what. NO Teriyaki Chicken. I you kidding me. At that point I just wanted to get out of the restaurant so I asked to refund my money.
The worker at the cashier had know idea how to refund. It was soo un-​convenient and discouraging. Very displeased and as I walked out and calmed down. I did not know what to think. What upset me most is the manager did not seem to care of the disfunction in the restaurant and did nothing about it other than give me the refund and rush me off.
Only thing I can do is share this information with a higher superior.

I’ve eaten here numerous times & this by far has been my worse food experience here! It wasn’t even crowded so that can’t even be used as an excuse. Employees were short & rude. My broccoli beef was ice cold & my orange chicken was way over cooked. The best was right when I was finishing I found a hair buried in my chow mein

This Panda is always low on choices. I have to wait for items to be cooked. The food is typical Panda fast food.

Fryers were turned off with 15 more minutes remaining till closing time. Couldnt aquire chicken egg roll. What kind of practice is this? Lets turn the lights and soda machine off too

I love the food at Panda, but no matter which Panda we go to they are always out of veggies, or out of chicken and super slow. I’ll keep coming because the food is so good but I they could do a lot better in regards to planning the rush times, etc. tonight we waited in line about 15 minutes, then they were out of veggies and teriyaki sauce.

Can’t believe that they ran out of fried rice AND steamed rice… and don’t have a clue when they would have more ready.

Everything was pretty dry and cold as well.
I’m probably not eating at Panda Express for a while now.

Was here last week just before they close and ordered some spitfire chicken with fried rice/​chowmein. I like to come here because service is fast and food is not bad at all. A fast Chinese food: D. Will be back again.

I guess all panda expresses are pretty much all the same. The surf and turf was pretty good. I didn’t understand the potatoes tho. I think it woulda been perfectly fine without the turf part. The bathrooms an tables were really clean

The food is typical Panda Express… if you like Panda Express, this place is just about the same. The food was tasty and seemingly fresh… no complaints there. The service was friendly, but I’ve docked a star for speed. This place was inexcusably slow. As far as the restaurant itself, it really needed a good cleanup. It was quite a mess… food and trash all over the floor. A 5 minute sweep job would have made a huge difference. Overall, it’s not the best Panda Express around (I’d certainly recommend getting it to-​go!), but it could be worse.

i have been to a few panda express but this one has the best orange chicken ever!!! i was on my way to a snow camp with my friends and the staff was VERY FRIENDLY.

Not authentic Chinese food, but it’s a good medium-​fast food option.

The service is hit or miss. Some of there workers are really nice and another half don’t know nothing about CUSTOMER SERVICE. The manager needs to pay a little more attention on how there workers treat the customers. I walk in at 6pm and no greeting, no «I will be right with you» 3 workers passed us and didn’t acknowledge us. After 5 min standing the lady didn’t say sorry or anything. Very rude I asked for 2 orders of Rangoon and she told me «are you sure you don’t want pot stickers?» what?! Did I ask for pot stickers then, She bluntly said she didn’t want to fry any. She eventually did after I said I asked to see the supervisor or manager. And no the manager never came out of his/​her office. Very rude customer service at his location! Would rather go across town by the 99 panda express.

I can’t believe I never Unilocaled this place; either that or I gave this location a such hideous rating that my Unilocal was removed from the website.
Anyway this is the second or third time I have been here and today the place was good. Perhaps the other trips were so notable that I lost interest in Unilocaling the business.
Oh well, I didn’t die… at least I say that now. I am going to try and forego taking a pepto bismol; let’s see how I feel in a few hours.
Anyway so so food for so so price. I guess I can’t expect a lot for cheap eats. At least there isn’t dried food particles stuck on the window sills at this location.

I would say one word HYGIENE !!
the girl who was cleaning the tables she left all table tops wet (soaked) and not clean, I cleaned it with a napkin and the napkin was all dirty.
Then she took over the mop and then she went straight to serving food WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS !! I am not going there again !!!
There is another one pretty close on yosemite ave. Fantastic service and excellent staff !
