I don’t know what the fuss is all about with people giving it a bad review. This best Chinese restaurant in town! Tried out all the local chinese food and they don’t compare to this place. Most people are accustomed to «panda express» food but this is way better! The price is great and the food is awesome. This is my new favorite Chinese restaurant in town hands down.

The meat portions are small and actual portions vary from visit to visit. The fortune cookies do not taste good they need a better brand.

very inexpensive, delicious, great portions, and the best Chinese in the area. Salt and pepper chicken spare ribs, and fish are all very good. small place and great deals on the dinner combos. every dish we’ve ordered is always fresh and tasty.

Decided to try this place after giving it a pass several times based on the look of the joint. It’s definitely an old school place, nothing fancy about the interior or exterior. It seems to be a mom & pop joint, with just the two of them working even on a Saturday night.
That being said, the food was fabulous. I had the Mongolian Beef, Hot & Sour soup and pot stickers. More than just about any other food Chinese food seems to be open to many interpretations for the same dish, sometimes you just aren’t sure what the dish will be like from place to place. I like Mongolian Beef to have a light sauce so you can actually taste the beef and onions, and that’s exactly how it is here. Also, both the spicy dishes were actually spicy, not overly hot but nicely spiced, it seems like a lot of places fail to bring the heat which then leaves the dish too bland for me.
My only complaint, and its a small one, was that all three of my dishes came out at the same time, rather than soup, appetizer, entrée as they should have.
I’ll definitely be back, as so far this is the best Chinese food I’ve found in Lathrop.

Came here a few weeks ago loved it. This place has a old school kind of diner feel to it. We had the combo plates which ranged at about 7 – 10 bucks i believe. The food was real good at least to me. The customer service was real nice kind of like a filipino auntie always offering you food to eat. I believe I had a number 1 with a budlight. In addition to the combo they gave large portions and thats always a plus with me ;D

It was take home and the food was horrible. No flavor or at least not to my liking. I ordered the lemon chicken with chicken fried rice and my uncle the broccoli beef and almond chicken. His review was the same as mine. We will never return. Should have been a red flag when I rolled up to the joint and it had dive written all over it.

Wow it’s really sad how this place has gone down hill. They used to have amazing food but we ordered food the other day here and it was sooo bad. Food was dry and old. Rice had a fishy taste And chow main (which used to be my favorite) tasted old and had a burnt taste to it. Don’t think I’ll be back for awhile. not unless they make some changes.

Schechuan chicken & Shrimp chow mein.

This is my favorite Chinese restaurant to go to for chow mein. I live in SF and i always crave for their shrimp chowmein and it’s one reason why i love coming back home. lol.

4 stars for the chef! Real good food before the new management & now. the only problem I have is that the new owner is one greedy guy. raised the prices like he was the only chinese food restaurant in Lathrop, I mean he probably is the best in Lathrop but just because he is doesn’t mean he should raise the price like this. well just for doing so only once or twice a month for me…

So I went there today for lunch, it was… ok I guess
It seemed like today was an exceptionally busy day so the owner was running around frantically. Looks like he cannot handle pressure to well.
I ordered the Lemon Chicken Lunch. It was decent. Not the best, not the worse. Well it filled my Chinese food urge.
I probably will be back again sometime for lunch.
