Place was hella nasty. DONOTGO! Asked for light beans but more beans than meat, asked for extra extra sour cream. hmm tasted none. Not the best at all trust me. Order was finish in two mins must have been already pre prep. The BAY has the best Mexican food. Valley area is Wack. I’m a big critic on what I eat!

I used to go to this location when I lived around this area. When I visit I still go but I will look for other fast food places. Last time I was here the food was cold and our order was incorrect. The service is not as it used to be.

Athentic mex. decent burritos. Cheese quesadilla is awesome. Meat quesadillas need way more cheese though. Overall. Pretty good. Decent prices too.

This is not Mexican food. This is what white trash tweakers think is Mexican food. Basically… I would rather go to taco bell. At least there the food is fresh and the tortillas are edible. The vegetable burrito was cold, had no taste and was stale. The beans were dry, the rice was underwhelming and undercooked. The carne asada burrito was basically the same. Everything basically tasted like it was made four days ago and rewarmed, our it came out of a can and was warmed in a microwave. I will absolutely never return here. There are too many good Mexican food places around here to settle for this«food». Save your money and go anywhere else. Heck, Jack in the box had better Mexican food. Go there.

I just purchased 10 tacos. And the guy gave me 2 jalopenos. I asked for more. He said 1 jalapeño per 4 tacos. And wanted to charge me a dollar for 4 more. Once a place of business goes cheap on me I’m done with you. And mouth of word will ruin you. Not a wise business move. Avoid!

Make sure you have cash cause they don’t take plastic. Asada burritos are the best belong in hall of fame. Updated as of 05⁄2015 they’re burritos are HORRIBLE now tortillas are hard beans were at least a day old. They use to be the best but now they are crap. I use to always eat here asada burrito& a Pepsi not no more trust me take it from this half Mexican fat boy save your money

Anyone who knows Taqueria La Costa knows they serve great food. Whenever i’m in town i always go here to buy a chicken burrito. This place is delicious and affordable. You cant beat a nice $ 5 meal that will keep you full for a long time.

I have some up’s and downs with this place, it’s a cash only and sometimes you’re gonna get something good and sometimes you’re gonna get something not so good type of place. FYI, they open at 10:00 am, stays busy, but they are usually pretty quick about getting your order together. Well do not and I repeat do not order their chile verde burrito, because it was absolutely stomach-turning, what I am going to say tho, is give them a little credit on their ceviche and seafood tostadas because so far they have been absolutely scrumptious, especially the crab(jaiba) tostada for only $ 3 it’s healthy and stacked and it makes a great lunch. I would say skip this place for everything else other than 1.50 tacos or seafood tostadas.

Best mexican food in town in my opinion. Slightly inconvenient that it is a cash only spot, but other than that the wait is never too long and the food always hits the spot.

Taqueria LaCosta on Moffatt Blvd in Manteca, California. I was looking for a place to enjoy my Taco Tuesday in the city of Manteca. As we were passing by, I was with my mother and she told me that she came here over the summer one time with my brother. So I wanted to check it out for myself and see what’s what. Tip: Cash only. Tip: Outside and inside seating. I ordered a chicken torta and two asada tacos. My mama order asada torta. We also ordered and asada burrito for my brother to drop it off at work for his lunch. The wait time wasn’t that long standard taqueria taco truck wait times. One thing I notice about my torta it had hella juice. The bread got a little soggy and it was almost like eating a sloppy joe lol. But besides that it was off the hook. The tacos were cool and they hooked me up pretty chubby on the meat. My mother enjoyed her asada torta and so my brother liked his burrito. Luckily for her torta didnt fall apart lol. I don’t get to go out with my mother that much but when we do. We always have a great time. So yes I’m in the area I’ll definitely be coming back. Vincent D aka VD aka Vebola aka Vincent Vega. Always enjoying the simple things in life.

Amazing flavorful burritos! Kid loved her bean burrito, tacos were yummy. Was bummed they don’t offer rolled tacos on the menu, and charge for refills. But will come back for more!

La Costa Baby !!! A big value play — $ 6 bucks for a burrito… cool … our family loves these place … Kat’s favorite … that little 50 pounds of trouble can eat a whole burrito… whatz up !!! The staff is always fast, nice and helpful. Prices are super reasonable and the patio seating is nice (but remember) your eating in a Mexican outside restaurant so flies are imported in with the food … hey Im Spanish I can say that … whatz up with the fly’s man … I know you have to get your exercise in so the flies help you workout your arms from swatting them away … man these are super flies, even in winter these(maricones) still buzz around

CASHONLY. Whenever I’m in Manteca and craving a burrito or tacos, La Costa is my go-to! This restaurant is inexpensive, has a variety of menu items, quick, and very tasty! It gets super busy throughout the ENTIRE day, so parking can be a hassle. I’m happy this establishment has been able to stick around, the food and service is consistently good.

Order and pay at the rightmost window, pick up on the left. If there were signs, I didn’t see them. I was down here before 10:30 and while they may not officially opened, they were most definitely open for business. I looked for a menu, and it was high above me. Well, not that high, but I’m short. :-D They didn’t seem to have breakfast items, so I suspect that people know each other so well that there is no way an outsider would come to order breakfast – or something like that. In any case, I don’t eat by rules. Carne asada tacos and Mountain Dew – check! They took a little while, but the service was efficient and they were friendly. Everyone seemed happy to be there, staff and customers alike. The tacos were great, although I like to have lettuce and tomatoes in the mix. This vies with Tacos Autlense in San Jose for my favorite tacos anywhere in the U.S.A. I just need to get the menu organized in my mind.

Best tacos! Just like a «taco truck» taco! Besides they are the same as Brentwood and Oakley which is great since I work in Manteca. Different owners but they share the recipes. Yummo!
