My least favorite place to find a deal. The manager is a douche. I think KFC stopped carrying the double down and she’s extremely angered by it or her deep fryer at home is on the fritz. I don’t go in often, usually never find anything. There is one sweet little old lady that works there, but I don’t know her name. If I had the money I’d pay her enough so she can retire and get out of that hell hole.

Buyer Beware. Once it is rung up, you cannot change your mind, even when the item is rung at the wrong price!!! I took two items to the cashier. One item was tagged $ 1.00. I could not see the amounts being entered into the cash register. When the receipt was handed to me, to my shock, the $ 1.00 Item was charged at $ 16.99. I corrected the cashier and she informed me that there were two tags on the item, one read $ 1.00 and one read 16.99, and I would have to pay the higher price. I informed her that I did not see the other tag and did not want the item. She called the store manager who explained that once something was in their cash register I had to pay the price. She called it «buyer beware», and informed me that there was a «no return policy» so she would not take the item off of my tag. I told her I was not returning the item, I had never left the counter. This mistake was Salvation Army’s mistake. She said that I would still have to pay the higher price even though I did not want the item at this point. What kind of strange policy is this? I never left the counter. I immediately called out the problem. Salvation Army, you need a review of your policies and a further training for your managers. Managers should know how to take an item off after it has been rung, especially when there are two price tags present on the item.

Disappointed that they no longer sell children’s clothing. However, when they have $ 1.00 clothing sales, that price can’t be beat!

So much treasure! Super nice staff, one guy let me commandeer a regular size shopping cart(that was being used for merchandise transport) for my toddler since she was cranky and did NOT want to shop with me. Nice place, not too disheveled, and we ended up there on a day when everything was half off, so I got a LOT of stuff. Will definitely be back.

Not as well organized or as clean as the Goodwill store — but some good finds. Found a great selection of Hawaiian shirts for my son at $ 2 each. Store is packed with merchandise so you have to be willing to spend some time.

I’ve been shopping here for about 15 years. I always find the coolest shit here. Especially clothes. Whenever I come to Manteca to visit my family, I gotta get my thrift on.
