Manzanita Rental Company

My family and I come to visit my parents in manzanita a couple times a year. Based on my parents initial recommendations we went through this rental agency, and after the level of service we have received, we always will. The houses are always tidy, homey, and exactly as described, and Jeff is awesome to work with. If you’re in search of a reliable vacation rental agency in the area, this is it.

We love Manzanita and we love the Manzanita Rental Company! We vacation here often and always use this company. We have always been pleased with the homes we’ve stayed in. If we’ve ever had problems, they’ve always been fixed promptly by the staff. We have always found the staff and management to be very kind, friendly and professional. It is common when staying in a rental home for the renters to clean after their stay. We don’t mind doing this at all and realize it is all part of it. We’ve been very pleased with this company and will always use them in the future

Manzanita Oregon is very beautiful. However, the house we rented has seen better days. Kindly, we’d call it «rustic»… but broken equipment (refrigerator stopped working, TV didn’t connect to the dvd player, pool table missing balls, windows and doors were rickety and splintered) suggested a lack of maintenance and care. The rental agency was curt and disagreeable when we called, though they did bring us a cooler to use while the fridge was out. Would love to return to these beaches, but unlikely to use this agency again.

Manzanita is one of my fave spots away from Portland. a breathtaking view of one majestic Pacific Ocean just before making the turn to descend down to the little vacation/​2^nd home town-​ette.
Such an easy destination, leaving you with the feeling of your own private access to the sea for your rendezvous, the crowds and tourists all trickled off after Cannon and other paths north of here.
Invited by a friend to stay with him and family for a night, we jumped at the chance. the rented gorgeous-​amenitied home on 321 S 4^th Street belonged to a professional from Madras (near that lake). In-​home jacuzzi tub, large living room, spacious bedrooms, awesome layout. great feel for a beach house. A few blocks East of the beach area.
Friend and his wife reported no issues with the rental, save that the weekly rental price was NOT an awesome deal. Many properties available; i’ve looked myself!

We decided at the last minute to rent a place in manzanita for the weekend. I called Manzanita rentals and reserved a unit on Ocean Street, #662. The description raved about the view which I would agree was spectacular, BUT, the unit itself was in really terrible shape. It was 11 pm. when we decided to go to bed only to discover the bedding was disgustingly dirty… dog fur, human hair all over it. It was really a bummer. There was numerous things in disrepair including no door knob in the master bathroom, problems flushing the toilet in the master bath, large hole in screen, dirty cookware in the kitchen, and not enough dishes for our family of 4. The unit capacity was 6, so this was inadequate. The cost was $ 260/​night plus a $ 75 cleaning fee and we were supposed to wash all of the linens before checking out at 11 am. It is a crazy policy and obv iously Manzanita rentals are not checking the linens when the guests leave and others are coming in. thumbs down across the board for this unit!

We booked a rental house in Manzanita through this company and the experience was very good. The house and amenities were exactly as advertised. The price was fair, the home’s location was terrific and making our reservation on the phone was painless.
While I find their website a little clunky to navigate, it provides great, accurate information. This company has a nice selection of homes and locations throughout Manzanita and Neahkahnie– perhaps the best communities to visit on the Oregon Coast!
I will use their service again.
