I’m not a big Mexican food person, but I love their fish tacos. Light and crispy and delicious. If you buy an entire, you get to have free chips and salsa. They have a good variety of different salsas to choose from. I like to mix them too. It’s the style of place where you order and then you get a number. When they finish your meal they yes your number and you pick up your tray. Typically they’re not too busy and it’s pretty quick, but when it gets busy it can take a little longer. Overall this is a nice place to grab some food and would recommend it!

All in all a decent Mexican grill. I like Baja better than Chipotle because you get more menu choices and free chips and salsa(well now you do again, they shot themselves in the foot when they started charging for chips and salsa) My favs are the BBQ Burrito, Fish Burrito, and Mango Peach Salsa! Yum!

I just order the cheese quesadillas and a sampling from the chips/salsa bar. It had been a long time since I ate at Baja Sol, and I was neither disgusted or delighted. The quesadillas were all right, a little bit greasy, but still all right. I liked the variety at the salsa bar, though the corn salsa looked a little funky to me. They have a really nice location, so it’s sad to see that all their seating sits sat empty around lunch time. Would I go back again? Maybe, if I am in the area again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go here. I just think Chiptole and Qdoba do it a little better.

Went here for the first time on my lunch break from work. All in all it was a decent experience. I ended up getting 3 Baja Tacos(1 barbacoa, 1 carnitas, 1 chicken tinga) with a little cup of rice. Chicken Tinga is Boneless Chicken Breast simmered with Smoked Jalapeño Peppers, pretty good stuff. They had a nice all you can eat chips/salsa bar as well, unfortunately I couldn’t utilize to its fullest because I was getting it to go. I was able to put some various hot sauces from there in some to go cups though. Baja Del Sol is a bit pricey and not as good as Pineda Tacos, but they’ll definitely be my go to place for tacos when I’m on lunch break from work. You’ll be getting my business again Baja Del Sol :)

Food was great. The service is what knocked down my review. One woman in the kitchen trying to cook, take orders and clean up spills. Another girl there, most be on break and not caring what was going on around her… two spills on the floor, dirty tables and she is eating and not caring. Lady in the kitchen kept her cool, was very pleasant but needed some decent front help.

This place is OK! Not great, not the worst. It kind of reminds me of a cheap Chipotle with a chip/salsa bar. Some of the salsas are pretty good, the chips aren’t very good but covered in enough salsa they’re edible. The food is not the greatest but it’s quick and cheap. Better than Taco Bell or something. One nice thing is that is much bigger than Chipotle so it’s never scrunched, there’s quite a bit of seating. One bad thing is the tables here are almost always dirty. Would it kill them to have an employee pay attention to when people leave so they could wipe down the tables? I don’t get it! Last time I was here, it wasn’t busy at all and we still had to sit at a dirty table. We just picked the cleanest one we could find. That is not cool! Clean the place up and maybe, just maybe I’d bump this up to 3! Good Day.

Ordered fajita burrito with chicken and fish burrito. The tortilla on both burritos were very cold, fish was pre-made frozen fish stick, very little chicken in fajita burrito, and both tasted extremely bad, as though the people had no business making Mexican food. One of the worst Mexican food I ever tasted.

I have never been to a Baja Sol until the other day. Not sure why I hadn’t tried one sooner! Yummy! If you’re looking for a quick bite, pay at the counter, grab a ticket number, and seat yourself type service… Then this is the place! There is a FREE salsa bar available to you with every meal purchased. I love the variety that they had to offer. Gentlemen at the counter was quiet… I think he was just irritated that he had to wait on some new people to make up their mind. We took our time… Besides there was nobody waiting in line behind us, so we could! Price for meals and appetizers ranged from around 3 to 10 bucks each. Not bad at all, if your looking for an affordable, quick and tasty meal.

Who needs a burrito the size of your head anyway? The burritos here a a bit smaller then those big chains and there is less customization of them. However the ones they do have are very good. Today I ordered the durango burrito and it was good and easy to eat. It didn’t burst apart at the seams and spill all over me either. The best part about coming here is the all you can eat chips and salsa bar. WOW! so many goo choices. I even mixed and matched to make my own spicy concoction. This alone is a good reason to come here.

A nice Friday night burrito with the kids. Had the Grande Burrito with enchilada sauce. The meat had a nice spice. The salsa bar is fabulous, one of the few places in MN I can get HOT salsa’s.(It’s sad that Ketchup is considered a spice here) The chips were hot and fresh as usual. They had a great choice of salsa’s. I little Hot red, with a bit of habanero and smoky makes a nice heat and taste. Not crowded even for a Friday night. I don’t think anyone has found this place yet. It will get pretty crowded as people discover it throughout the summer.
