Once Upon A Child

This was my first time selling my children’s clothes. I went in to check if they were still buying and of course they were. So the lady asked me how much things and what I have. I told her that I have 3 white trash bags of clothes and some shoes. She looked annoyed and told me that they normally do not take stuff from trash bags because they’re wrinkled, but since I’m there, she’ll take a look at them (with an attitude). I brought my stuff in and she told me to go look around while she goes through my stuff. Literally 5 minutes later, she calls me to the front and told me that she’ll buy my shoes but I have to take the clothes home and fold them and put them in a laundry basket.
This lady had no good customer skills whatsoever! She does not sound polite at all.
I understand that they have to deal with stuff like this all the time, but there’s no need to treat customers like this!
So instead of going back in with my clothes all nicely folded in a laundry basket, I drove around the corner and dropped the bags off at Goodwill. That was what I was planning to do if they weren’t going to buy my stuff anyway!
Never again will I ever go to that place!

I am a big fan of buying gently used clothes and toys for my son (who is 2 yrs), so I am frequent shopper of Once Upon A Child. This location is by far the best I have been too. It is clean, spacious and you don’t feel so overwhelmed looking through the racks for the deals.
