Pearle Vision

Would of given zero star if Unilocal allow it. My wife went to get her first set of glasses from here and she was very excited due to all the good reviews. She told them that it was her first time getting glasses. The did all their tests, let her pick out a frame for the glass. They told her that they had to order the glass and it would take about a week. Got a text from them several days later saying that the glass have arrive and for her to pick it up. She went to pick up her glass and they said they order her the frame and she will have to wait another week for them to order her glass to go into the frame. They got her all excited and put her hopes down. Please reconsider before going here.

The people at pearle are wonderful!
No high pressure sales pitch just great service without delays. I especially like when I have a problem with my glasses after several months, they just fix them with no charge.

My experience was outstanding! The optometrist and staff were very attentive and helpful. I have invested in 6 pairs of glasses from Maple Grove Pearle Vision; 2 pairs of sunglasses, 1 pair computer glasses and 3 pair daily glasses. I love the huge selection of quality and designer frames and refer all my friends and family to Maple Grove Pearle Vision.

I called to schedule an appointment this week and was put on hold for more than 10 minutes (the woman over the phone probably forgot that I was on hold). I hung up and called again to schedule my appointment for 1 pm. On the day of my appointment, I arrived late at 1:08 pm due heavy construction on Elm Creek Blvd. When I arrived, they said that I could not be seen because the doctor was already seeing the next customer. They offered an appointment at 4 pm, which I could not do so I canceled my appointment. I have been a customer of Pearl Vision for more than a decade. I will be looking elsewhere for my eye exams, contacts and frames.

I bought my first 2 pair of glasses at Pearl Vision MG, over $ 1,200 their special was 2^nd pair free but it wasn’t accurate the salesmen said the pairs I picked out were 2^nd pair ½ price. Great customer service but after 2 ½ months I needed lens replacements that cost another $ 250 because the lens coating was scratched I was wearing them constantly except when I went to sleep.
I figured if I have to replace the lenses every 3 months the cost would be prohibitive. My daughter said go to Target and get a pair for everyday. I was able to buy a pair of the same prescription for $ 245 total, less than the replacement lenses at Pearl Vision! For a small fee I was able to buy a policy for replacement lenses so they would only cost me $ 35 to replace, it has been 4 months and these glasses don’t need to be replaced!!!
They are not nearly as fragile as the Pearl Vision ones that are sitting on my desk at home because I am afraid to wear them!
Much to my chagrin I have learned you don’t always get what you pay for!

I just recently started going to Pearle Vision for all my frame needs. They are so fun and helpful at this location.
They have a huge selection. They say this is their biggest Twin Cities location. They don’t have much of a selection as far as affordable, lower-​end frames go, but I’ve not really been to any frame shop that does.
And the staff are obviously well trained, familiar with all of the frames. I’ve witnessed many times (including for my own mother) where they push customers to try out crazy frames they might not have otherwise tried on, only to have them love the frames! And they’ll help you figure out the best deal you can get with whatever discounts you have, whatever sales they have going on, however many frames you’re getting, etc.
I’ve never been to the clinic here, so I can’t comment on that.

Fantastic people work here! I personally love Dr Ritzer’s work, she is thorough, kind, direct and efficient. Everyone was kind to me and all the employees seemed to like each other and their jobs, this wasn’t the case with my past experiences with optometry clinics.

I’ve received the best care at Pearle Vision that I’ve maybe ever had. I went in on Monday last week with a raging eye infection and they referred me right away to a specialist in the area and got me on antibiotics within hours. I had never been to this optometrist before but my boyfriend’s mother said that they were hands down the best that their family had been to. Dr. Rowe had me come back in every morning throughout the week to monitor the infection while I waited for my appointment at the other doctor — which she went so far as to schedule for me. She had me come back in on Thursday to see one of her colleagues on her day off, and I have a sneaking suspicion that the only reason they aren’t checking in on me over the weekend is that I am out of town. I was told exactly what to watch for over the weekend and what to do if it gets worse, and how to manage any pain or discomfort in the meantime. It was the first time in a long time that I haven’t felt that I had to advocate strongly for myself as a patient. I should mention that the infection in my eye stemmed from another issue that started last spring, which I went to my former eye doctor (at a different provider) for three times, and was then advised that I just wait it out until fall. Suffice it to say that I won’t be going back there, and they are the eye care provider that I’ve been going to my entire life. The doctors at Pearle are extremely proactive and care! (Shame on me for not getting a second opinion sooner…) I recommend this office very highly, they have taken really great care of me and made my discomfort enormously better. I have complete faith that the specialist that they’ve referred me to will be equally as helpful.

I visited this Pearle location in July 2012 and was extremely well serviced. I was welcomed and helped immediately and directed to the boards featuring womens’ eyewear. What a large selection! Also, I was not aware that Pearle Vision carries such a variety of well known and great brands. Prior I had trouble with my progressive lenses. Here, everything was explained to me and I was well measured and now have great glasses and can see into the distance, the computer and my knitting projects. Thanks to the Pearle Team!
