5 cars per a race? Seriously have no real talent here! At least the food is priced good. But don’t bother wasting your money here, go to the other tracks. The track here obviously favors certain families, so never any real competition

Great family entertainment. Affordable concessions. Friday nights they have a demolotion derby. Different types of cars from beginners to experts to women’s racing and figure 8 racing. Bring the kids for something different and fun.

I greatly enjoy going to the Sycamore Speedway with my husband– he absolutely loves the races, and raced himself here when he was younger. There are a few great things about the Speedway, the first being that it is fairly inexpensive entertainment. It is not too expensive to get in, and then food, beer, etc. are also inexpensive. The races are also great, though I love the spectator ones the best. Definitely a place to check out– though if you bring small kids, I would highly recommend ear protection– the cars get quite loud. Also, bring a blanket, because the bleachers are wood and can get uncomfortable after awhile. I would highly recommend coming the weekend of the 4th of July– they put on a great fireworks show

I’ve only been here once, but driven by loads of times. My husband and our friends came here to cheer on my lil sister’s bf who races. He’s new to the hobby, so it’s fun for us all. When we got there we immediatley dug the grass parking. We hung out in the back where the cars wait to line up and get called for awhile. Granted we froze our butts off on that particular night, but it was still fun to see people working on their cars and to see the details of each one up close. We were pleasantly suprised by the cheap beer and food. We got free entry for being in the military too, even better! The bathrooms are meh, but it’s better than a hole in the ground. lol. As we huddled beneath blankets, we eagerly(and probably drunkenly) cheered on the speeding cars. The atmosphere is fun, and if you are the friendly sort you can meet and chat with the racers families. Nice people. We will be back. Oh! And Dairy Dog is right down the street, so yeah!
