All potential shoppers: I am the victim of a seriously fraudulent transaction that has forced me to not only seek legal assistance, but to contact the BBB of So NJ, the FTC and ShopGoodwill HQ in Orange County, CA. Be forewarned, this operation engages in deceptive and fraudulent business practices, and I am still trying to resolve the scam involving a guitar purchased on the ShopGoodwill website that was seriously damaged during shipping, and they have been dicking around with me for the refund and insurance claim for almost 7 weeks! Buyers BEWARE!!!

Goodwill is a great place to get miscellaneous items that you didn’t know you needed. This particular location is one of the larger Goodwill stores that I’ve been to. The entire store is split into different sections: women’s clothing, men’s clothing, children’s clothing, toys, electronics, kitchen goods, furniture, blankets, shoes, purses, belts, books, it goes on and on. Some sections are better than others; the kitchenware always have some great finds, while the electronics look like they’ve been there for years. Alot of goodwill finds make for great renovation projects. The store is outdated, and has a funky smokey smell, but you should probably wash all your purchases from here regardless. For the most part, everything is pretty organized. The staff has been friendly whenever I’ve visited. They offer different discounts for students, military, and the elderly. Goodwill accepts debt cards and cash. This location accepts donations.

The rude staff(cashiers) ruin the visit. One time we tried to checkout and were told to go back and shop some more because the lady was too busy walking around collecting hangers. Your treated like your bothering them just for walking in the door. And for all the trouble you caused them by paying for your items they are nice enough to overcharge you. The amazing thing is the corporate office is in the same building yet this is the worst store in the area.

The place is filled with stuff partially because there’s a number of nearby rentals with high turnovers. This includes housewares, clothes, furniture and electronics. Workers are great and will help you unload and load stuff. You can create an itemized list of what you donate on their self-service computer kiosk for tax purposes.

Definitely a great place to bring clothes and/or household stuff for donation. The staff is nice and helpful and the new automates self-checkout system for the receipts is simply awesome!

Aside from clothes, there’s also a good amount of electronics and household stuff. Can use some organization but the staff is very helpful and friendly. There was a telescope I had no idea how to work and this guy from the back just showed up and explained to me all the parts of it and how to use it. Coming down rt.73 south it is easy to miss it, if you pass the taco bell you’ve gone too far.

Ah. Goodwill. You keep getting better. PROS: Lots of crap. All the time. Wooo Hooo! Shelves NEVER look empty. Lots of people seem to ditch their textbooks at this Goodwill in particular. Loads of books. Good kitchen stuff. Some nice kids clothes. Manufacturer samples, too. CONS: Unusual smell drifting from restroom area(near electronics). Need MOREROOM in the ‘books’ section so you can see the titles of the books stacked below the shelves. Some of the aisles are too close together for a person with a cart to pass a single standing person. I’d love to know how to get there without having to take that u-turn @ the Apt. complex.

This is a great place to bring clothes and household items to be donated. Make sure you get a receipt for your tax return.
