This place was beautiful, autumn colors contrasting with greenery of the moss and ferns. The hike is very easy and trail is well maintained. Many small unique water falls to catch your eye. Lots of spots for photos opts. The drive into area is also quite lovely.

Amazing, easy trail with more than 10 picturesque waterfalls. Great for families. Lots of little pools where kids can explore and splash in relative safety. The only downside was all the bugs! Especially the huge biting flies. So bring bug spray!

This has to be the most beautiful hike i’ve ever taken. Make sure you bring a camera with you! The springtime is best here after the winter rains and snow, as the water will be at it’s fullest. Everything is so green and lush.

My friend and I decided to do this hike during our road trip down the Oregon coast. We wanted to find a hike with a waterfall, which is how we stumbled across Sweet Creek Trail! So we took a bit of a detour off the 101 and to go on this hike. On the drive there, we caught a glimpse of Mapleton, OR — such a cute and small town that I wish I would have spend more time at. The rest of the drive to the trail head was absolutely gorgeous! We didn’t mind the drive because it was so lush and green. Because we were here on Labor Day weekend, we expected more of a crowd, but there was only one other car in the parking lot. In the lot, there is an outhouse, which can definitely come in handy because at this point, we were in the middle of nowhere. The hike itself is very easy and not too long, definitely a good one for beginners. This hike was just SO beautiful and green — I was pretty much in awe the whole time. There is a creek that runs next to you during the whole hike, and when you reach the end, you come to a waterfall that runs into a large pool of water, and since there was no one else around, we jumped in! Super fun experience with a beautiful view — I’d definitely recommend this place!

It’s an easy hike to this beautiful waterfall, the hike is a .9 miles(less than a mile) to the falls, with lots of beauty along the way. If you like nature, hiking, and waterfalls, I would highly recommend heading out for a hike to see Sweet Creek Falls!

This hike was absolutely beautiful! We found this place by picking up one of those What To Do In Oregon brochures and decided to go check it out, and we couldnt have been happier with this trail. It’s a little over a 3 mile hike but not to difficult overall. It is not a paved path so people who have a hard time with uneven grounds might want to sit this one out. It also has this catwalk bolted to the side of the mountain so you are standing directly above the rushing river below you, which amazed me and terrified me at the same time. It had just been storming and the water was high and vicious and since it was only the two of us, we were very careful around the water . There were I believe about 11 different waterfalls on this hike and an abundance of wildlife. I would recommend this place for all the nature lovers out there
