Jennifer the owner strives to use as many local products as available. Regardless of what meal the owners and staff have treated me like family. It’s nice to be more than just a customer. This is a very friendly place. The food is as good as the people. I can share my experiences but instead I’ll give this place two thumbs up and you can have an opportunity to find out on your own.

A very nice place to stop. The menu features Ingredients from local providers not the big national firms. We had breakfast with true home made home fries that were excellent. Flap jacks from local New Hope Mills and real maple syrup worth the extra buck. The dinner menu appears very diverse and we look forward to enjoying it in the near future. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. The facility is not at all fancy but clean and pleasant and fits the location in the country well. There is a great hill to blow out the Maserati on the way back to Skaneateles

No rolls, one item out of stock small menu, small dinner salad, clam chowder full of clams good. I order senior beer batter haddock ok little dark. My wife had the pork tenderloin over cooked but tasted ok. Total bill about 28.00 dollars cheap enough But would not come back

I have been to the Valley inn for breakfast a couple of times and was not too happy, but I thought I would try one last time and give it another chance, I should have gone somewhere else! I ordered the Pumpkin French toast with maple butter and cottage bacon. Well first of all the food took 30 minutes to get to me and at that time they told me they ran out of cottage bacon, Really? couldn’t they come sooner and told me that and asked me if I wanted something else? What I had on my plate was 3 pieces of pumpkin bread(not toasted at all) a smear of maple butter(could hardly taste it) not a good breakfast and service was slow. I will not go there again!

My son and I went here for breakfast, after attending the Gun Club Swap event close by. The service was very slow, and they were very busy, but the food was amazing and almost entirely made up for the negatives. Best breakfast in the area by far! We had a great waitress; she seated us promptly and kept our coffee cups filled while we waited. She apologized for the delay, due to 2 waitress’s calling in sick that day. My son had the Monti Cristo sandwich and I had the Home Made Corn Beef Hash, both were great! Waitress even suggested grilling the Italian toast, great idea. My only gripe was for the price of Coffee? $ 2.49 a cup, must be kidding. This is not Star Buck’s. Management should re-consider this, as it will turn away business. $ 1.50 — $ 1.75 tops in my book. We would like to stop back again, hopefully.

My Bacon Bleu Burger was as deluxe as the menu board suggested it was, excellent! The gf went with Honey, I Shrunk Thanksgiving, turkey, mashed potato, stuffing, gravy and cranberry sauce on a role. Another winner! We will be back!

Under new management as of this month. The renovations look spectacular, and the specials available are seasonal and fun. Very clean and welcoming. Almost everything is scratch made and they support local farms! You can’t go wrong!

Slow with a capital«S.» Full of locals who stay and gab(loudly) long after they finish eating. If you happen to roll in after a large party arrives you better go buy a sleeping bag and toothbrush. Food ok. Don’t expect too many Obama supporters here if you take my meaning.

Long wait, I’ll attribute to benign there on Fathers Day, but the food was good. Large home cooked portions. You won’t leave feeling hungry.
