Finger Lakes On Tap

I came here for lunch earlier today. I had the North Shore, which is a Roast Beef Sandwich. It was very tasty. The food menu is a little bit limited as I’m guessing they don’t have a grill in the kitchen. It would be nice if they expanded their menu a little bit. That’s my only quibble. Now on to the beer. One nice thing they have is beer flights of 4×4 oz pours. They have a number of different suggested beer flights varying by style — I chose the IPA tasting. You can also create your own tasting from their 60 beers on tap. This is definitely a place for fans of craft beer. I plan to return again in the future. Overall this place is a nice addition to the Skaneateles Community.

60 beers on tap. Mostly NY brews. A fairly elegant facility. The bartender was friendly and engaging. The first question they ask is Have you been here before? That’s always a good sign. The owner couldn’t have been more indifferent to any conversation. I found that very odd for a beer place. That is why my review is also indifferent.

Thanks for the note. I’m sure you know that brew enthusiasts and adventurers are friendly and forgiving folks. My thoughts expressed in my first post were sincere. BUT– I returned within an hour or so with some of my friends. !! We had a very nice time and it was nice to see the bar area full of other fun loving and forgiving people. I look forward to returning again sometime soon. JK

A great way to start the new year on a cold snowy day in Skaneateles! Stopped in to check out the offerings and got a warm welcome from Tom (owner) and Will (bartender/​server) who answered a lot of our questions and guided us with our beer selections! The beer flights were a great idea especially with the huge selection of Fingerlakes beers available. (If you’re a chocolate fan, do try the Choklat!)
Live music, beer-​wine-​food, fun menu and warm atmosphere make for another soon-​to-​be success story in this little village! Plenty of seating either at the bar, tables/​sofas/​comfy chairs on main floor or upstairs. Parking is in front on the street or in the lot behind the building.

If you like micro brews this is the place to go. It’s a new bar that opened in November in Skaneateles. It has 60 beers on tap and choices of flights to try or create your own. It’s a great place to learn about beer and try it out.
They have a limited menu and what we tried was good. My husband had the roast beef sandwich he enjoyed very much. I had the salad which I absolutely loved. The dressing was perfect and loved the seeds, crasins, and beans on field greens. They have an assortment of wines if you’re not a beer lover, but if you are you’ve got to try this place out!
