Over priced poor quality bar food, would require multiple drinks to enjoy. Crab sand which– mushy grease ball, chicken tender basket– old grease fried Tyson strips.$ 7.25 for 4 potatoes skins, old dark brown with a little imitation bacon & cheese. Rookies or dog food, go with the purina! Disgusting!

Just bad service. went to watch the game, and have drinks and food! Male server never came back to take my order! Sadly to say I walked out! Green $ spends Anywhere. Can’t help but wonder, the reason! Hint: I was the only African American in the restaurant. So sad, this day in time! Marco Island is filled with great places to eat, but this isn’t one of them! Try Né-Né for lunch! Or even Joey’s.

I love this place, I’ve been there like four or five times and every time I go I enjoy myself. To put it in a more concise wording instead of the frilly lingo I see so many people on Unilocal spit out, I’ll just say that it feels like a homey bar that I could see myself returning time and time again.

This is by far the worst restaurant we have eaten in the 4 years that we have been coming to Marco. I ordered the shrimp basket, where they described the shrimp as lightly dusted and fried to perfection. Well they were straight out of the box from GFS. and fried so hard it was truly unbelievable. My husband ordered the prime rib sandwich which had been sliced thin and grilled so long it was like beef jerky. Oh yea, we ordered the calarami and it was so undercooked it was like chewing leather. The only reason we stopped here was we were shopping and my husband needed food to take medicine with. Sure wish we would have tried one of the other places. Stay away from this place if you are new in town and don’t know what to expect.

Great people, food, atmosphere & a fantastic place to watch games. Your very own local Cheers. Casual, fun good people.

The homemade roasted red pepper hummus was good, but I think they should give you more pita chips with it. Our waitress didn’t really seem like she was happy to be there, but she wasn’t exactly rude. I would come here again, but it would be better if they kept the obviously too drunk people out of the bar.

Only food I ordered was the BLT. Talk about awesome. I’ve never had a BLT with so much bacon. Crispy as the fries were too. Happy Hour prices and plenty of sports on the tv’s. Directly across the Hilton was an added plus.

We stayed across the street so were looking for something where we could have dinner and cocktails but not drive. We had taco salad, buffalo shrimp, grilled cheese and fries. No complaints, all were great. Watched some exciting IU football with some beers afterward and waitress was very attentive. We’ll probably return during our visit for lunch or dinner. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars. although we had a table, there were those that didn’t and they just kinda of stood around and looked uncomfortable(but it IS a sports bar so maybe that should be expected)

Great place, very friendly bartender who promptly filled your drink. Grouper sandwich was top of the line, a big thick piece of fish. We’ll definitely stop in again on this trip.

We walked over from the Hilton last evening and spent most the night there. Wait staff was very attentive but not intrusive.

Stopped in Rookies Bar & Grill for lunch on 9÷19÷2015, while we were waiting to be able to get into our rental property. The stuffed poblanos(very tasty) & bowl of chili were very good. Better than traditional bar food. We should have just ordered two of each, but we didn’t… My wife ordered the chicken tenders and salad and the I ordered the Mahi Mahi and salad. Both were below par. The chicken was over-cooked and was reminiscent of Tyson chicken you get at Publix and the Mahi Mahi, although good, was a very small portion. A nice bar with excellent wait staff, just remember to order the bar food. You’ll be happier.

Came here on a limb. In town for vacation and wanted to find a place to watch the game and eat that wasn’t hotel prices. FOUNDIT! And being a eagles fan it’s pretty much a eagles bar that is owned by a guy that moved to Marco from Philly! Food: my wife and I both ordered the burger. Good taste. What you expect for a decent burger. Didn’t like that it came with chips and fries were extra. Who eats chips with a burger anyways? I ordered the fries that were extra. Decent. Service: Fairly quick and friendly. Nothing to complain about. Prices: GREAT for being a resort town. Awesome place. Great food and good service. Definitely worth a shot.

Stopped in yesterday for dinner, the bartender cleaned table and served us beer very quick. The problem was trying to get the waitress to acknowledge us, at least 20 minutes went by without any service! We looked up, they where taking some 1 else’s order who came in after us. Never had a problem like that before there but none the less they should get more qualified servers.

All the food seemed microwaveable. The frozen crab cakes at Costco are way better and there was nothing buffalo about the buffalo shrimp. The staff was pretty disengaged too. I seldom leave poor reviews, but this merits it. $ 50 down the drain!

We didn’t eat here but stopped in for a couple buckets of beer. Good specials during football games. Even though a football game was not on the owner/manager still gave us the bucket special price. Nice place to have drinks — Will definitely be back to try the food — It looked yummy!

Best sandwiches on the island. BUT is dynamite. Pastrami melt is delicious. Great atmosphere. Friendly service. My friend loves the chicken salad and the chicken Ceasars salad. We stop in at least once or twice a week .

If I could rate this place zero stars, I would. My experience was that bad. I understand that this is a very local bar for the Marco Islanders but damn, the service was extremely awful. I was with my family for vacation, we had a party of six(and a dog: D) and when I walked in I couldn’t find a hostess to help me, when I finally did find a blonde waitress & explained we were a party of six, had a dog so that could we perhaps sit outside she just stood there and told me «yes». Didn’t bother to walk me outside, she just pointed at random tables and chairs. Didn’t help us put together anything or clean the table tops. She just looked at us occasionally from the inside of the restaurant. And I feel it’s so disrespectful because my family is older(father, aunts and uncles, etc) Yes, they can take care of themselves but we left the house to be serviced on a BASIC level. Did not offer us menus, utensils or drinks. Nothing until much later a brunette waitress came out and finally helped us. She was very nice and helpful, I appreciate her amazing customer service but her friend left much distaste. Food is cheap. There’s apps, salads, sandwiches(their«specialities») and platters. So come here if you’re lazy, don’t want to cook and want something a little above fast food. I ordered a Tuna Steak platter. It was overcooked slightly. Not a big fan of tartar sauce but I had to drench it because it was overcooked and too dry. It came with a side of steamed broccoli and cauliflower that looked as if it had been there all week. It was browning on the edges and shriveled-looking. Not the greatest dining experience, but the only reason I would come back is for the cheap alcohol. They have some good deals on tap and drafts. But even that, I feel like I could maybe get AND have a great dining experience somewhere else in Marco.
