This is a little flower place, but there’s always something out of the ordinary. I go to Booth’s Corner almost every Friday for lunch, and for a while, I could swear that the owner was putting out a new unusual plant just for me, because goodness knows my office is stuffed with them — Wandering Jew, Dancing Dolphin, Lipstick Plant, Goldfish plant, oleander tree, flowering maple, on and on. But then there is also the fresh cut collection, and you can’t beat any of the prices. A bunch of fresh cut whatever is $ 4.00, and he adds greens with it, wraps it all in green paper so it looks a cut above a supermarket bunch. Roses are more, not much though. Cheap enough to make me look like a thoughtful husband on a regular basis. One weird sidenote — there’s a sock place next door, and this guy owns that store too. This place is a satellite of the Locust Point Greenhouse in Elkton MD, unvisited by me. My only complaint is that this place isn’t larger. Cash only, but there is a no-fee ATM right nearby.
