I’m pretty big on deserts and baked goods… I just got a box of cookies at our office, and WOW! These are definitely home-made! Big and soft … wow, so yummy. :) Do they only deliver? Do they only deliver to companies? I wonder if there’s a way for me to just … order cookies for myself and my family … :3

We were sent 12 cookies in a tin as a Birthday gift for my husband. The presentation was quite nice: blue bow, message, and tin. Inside, the 12 cookies were in 3 sealed plastic bags and had survived the travel without breaking. So far, so good. Now the tasting: dry, bland, and mediocre. My husband(who doesn’t find many treats in our kitchen) ate only one and said, «Not very good. That’s all I want.»

The company that I work for sends thank you gifts to our clients twice a month. In the past, we have switched suppliers on a constant basis due to poor quality of goods or bad customer service. This is NOT the case at Cornerstone Cookies! They have repeatedly shown excellent customer service and our customers are always calling to find out when their next goodie pack will arrive. Their cookies are moist and delicious and the brownies are amazing! Packaging is very professional and elegant. Larry is always changing the assortment that goes out and it has met with great success. I recently had a customer tell me to stop sending them the cookies and go with whatever the assortment of the month is because it’s all delicious! The spicy pecans are a winner and just thinking about all the wonderful items that they have is making my mouth water. If you have a special occasion or just want to treat yourself, make sure you give them a call, stop by or order online. You won’t be disappointed!

Our company does a monthly birthday celebration in the office break room. Just like the cult classic«Office Space»(1999), employees are encouraged to gather in the break room and eat birthday cake to celebrate everyone’s birthday that month. I remember thinking to myself the first time I got an email about the monthly birthday celebration, «Man, this is just like ‘Office Space!’» Nina: Now Milton, don’t be greedy, let’s pass it along and make sure everyone gets a piece. Milton Waddams: Yeah, but last time I didn’t receive a piece. And I was told… Nina: Just pass. [while the cake passes Milton mutters — eventually everybody but Milton gets a piece] Milton Waddams: [muttering] I could set the building on fire. (Source: ) Luckily, at our office, there is plenty of cake to go around, partly because some people are too busy to attend the«celebration» and partly because some people eat healthy. The cake for many of our celebrations comes from nearby Cornerstone Cookie Company. The company was founded in 1997 by a husband and wife duo who have since grown Cornerstone to sell gourmet cookies, nuts, and coffee nationwide. They sell a lot of corporate gift baskets and also delicious cakes. The cakes are available in the Atlanta area only. My favorites are the seasonal strawberry cake(available May through August) and the Italian cream cake. They are both decadent and delicious. The strawberry cake consists of three layers of vanilla sponge cake with slices of fresh strawberries topped with light strawberry butter cream icing. The Italian cream cake uses a sweet, rich almond-flavored butter cream. If you’re looking for a corporate gift basket or cakes or cookies to cater at your next event, give their web site a look.
