Cosmo’s Vegan Shoppe is mostly all online now, with a HUGE array of vegan and cruelty free products ranging from belts to biscuits. If you’re in the Atlanta/Marietta area though, once a week they open their store room for customers to come in, check out a limited amount of merchandise, and even sample some wonderful home baked vegan food(if you get there early).

Plenty of stuff for a vegan’s needs and wants. Great selection of vegan cook books under one roof I have ever seen, love it! I stocked up. Thanks for making my life easier with one stop shopping, even better that I don’t have to pay for shipping. :)

I am so sad, I am just going to copy from the website… Change is good! Cosmo’s Vegan Shoppe will be moving to a new location on April 1st, 2009. The last day to shop our Atlanta location will be March 29th, 2009. What does this mean to our online customers? The new location will provide us with much more space, which means we will have room for many more unique vegan products! Cosmo’s will continue to provide you with the same super-fast shipping and great customer service you have come to expect since 2005. What does this mean to our local customers? Cosmo’s new location is no longer going to be a traditional walk-in retail store. However, we will have a nice showroom and special visiting hours(M-F 12 – 4, Sat 12 – 6, Sun– closed), so you are still welcome to come see us! For your convenience, local customers are welcome to shop via our online store, and then pick up your order at our new location to save on shipping. You are also welcome to visit our showroom during visiting hours, or call us to make an appointment that is convenient for you. We will have visiting hours listed on our website by April 1st. Our new location as of April 1st, 2009: Cosmo’s Vegan Shoppe 200 North Cobb Pkwy Bldg 100 Suite 126 Marietta, GA30062 678−921−0102

Atlanta might not have a fancy vegan mini mall like Portland but we do have Cosmo’s Vegan Shoppe(which has the strength of 10 mini malls!) Cosmo’s Vegan Shoppe is a storefront owned by vegans with 100 percent vegan goods so you don’t have to go through the infamous label scan for whey, gelatin, albumin and all the other animal derivatives that are hidden deep within the labyrinth of the ingredient list on the back of nearly everything you buy. What makes Cosmo’s truly special is that they offer many items that are usually only available online. This probably has something to do with the fact that they also have a virtual store front online that carries nearly everything in the store. So if you’re not in Atlanta check out

Cosmo’s is AWESOME!!! They have so much great stuff! Vegan marshmellow’s, Vegan vitamins, vegan shoes that are NOT from China and vegan Cinnamon rolls!!! The best part about Cosmo’s aside from the great stuff you can find there are the owners! They are SO nice and they don’t carry anything that comes from sweat shops or contain ingredients or materials that are harmful to the environment. It’s just so awesome to know that you can walk in and know that whatever you buy is vegan and is also environmentally and socially responsible all while supporting a local business. Cosmo’s ROCKS!!! Will definitely keep going back!

After seeing all the stuff they had online, I was expecting CVS to be bigger, but nonetheless the place is awesome. I hear they even have teese, a vegan cheese from Chicago that just about every vegan on the internet has been salivating over. Since I’ve been penny pinching I didn’t have the nerve to go there and do some serious shopping, but I did get a big pack of vegan multi vitamins, and the cashier was helpful and pointed me towards the ones that had iron in them. Also, as most people seem to think vegans are uptight assholes, it’s nice to see all the staff here are super friendly. Kill them with kindness(and cupcakes)! That’s the vegan way.

What an adorable little place! Lee, the owner, and her husband are 2 of the sweetest, smartest people I have met. When I first started dating my husband, 16 year strict Vegan, I knew nothing of his«lifestyle.» Cosmos has both guided and taught me so much. I actually have a place I can get all of my husbands Christmas stocking stuffers, Valentines chocolates etc. I can even cook a damn good Vegan meal now too! Hats off to Cosmos!

My favorite place in Atlanta, although we have to stay out of there or we’ll go broke. All vegan: grab a cookbook, grab some shoes, hell. Grab a twinkie! Everything in there is tasty, and the owners are friendly and know their stuff. Possibly the«cutest» store on Highland. Much love.

After lunching with a friend at Highland Bakery, we popped across the street to check out the Vegan Shoppe. The first thing that turned our heads was the wall of shoes. All, very cute and cruelty free. Can you imagine? A shoe that looks awesome on the foot and not one lick of guilt involved. The price tag was a bit of a deterrent, I’m used to shopping at thrift stores, but maybe, one day, I’ll own the cute green mary jane’s. The store also has several food items that I’d only heard of online. Vegan jerky, donuts, «chicken» strips, feta soy cheese, and, my only purchase-Ricemallow. All I need now is a spoon-possibly a cup of hot cocoa once I’ve satisfied my 5 year long craving for marshmallow crème. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
