Edwin Watts Golf stores are like the PGA Tour Superstores except on a smaller scale. There are five locations in metro Atlanta. At this location on Cobb Parkway, you can get pretty much anything you need as far as golf equipment is concerned. They carry all the major club brands and latest models. They have a small-to-medium size selection of putters, left-handed clubs, and pre-owned clubs. You can buy bags, bag covers(for air travel), gloves, balls, apparel, and shoes. They also carry various gifts and gadgets such as framed photographs of famous golfers and rangefinders. On-site at this location is a practice driving range(you hit into a net) and a shot simulator. This allows you to try out clubs before you buy them. Unlike the PGA Tour Superstores which have multiple bays, Edwin Watts only has two bays: one with a computer and one without. The computer simulator measures everything from your shot distance, launch angle, club speed, and spin rates. It’s a great tool to assist you in finding the correct club(s) for your swing. The staff can help you interpret the data. Finally, this location also offers club fitting and club repair services. If you need to regrip your clubs or want to switch to new shafts, you can get it done here. They sell all the materials needed if you’d like to regrip them yourself. While I prefer the PGA Tour Superstores just because of their sheer size(bigger inventory), Edwin Watts is also a decent golf shop. It’s certainly a nice change of pace.
