Okay, we’re back in business. Let’s start with the optometrist.
**** Dr. Marvin Howell is excellent. His exam was more thorough than exams I’ve had in the past. In addition — a big plus to the practice — he upgraded service with technology (something previously lacking.) It doesn’t hurt that Dr. Powell is knowledgeable AND personable, making a routine eye exam rather pleasant.
**** Jennifer, manager of the optical side, seems to have whipped things into shape. I went in for my usual 2 pairs for $ 99 (for inside reading) and no upsell, no scare tactics — just good service and designer frames at discount prices.

When I was a college student — I LOVED this place.
Now — not so much.
Not a huge selection of frames — lackluster, could-​care-​less staff.
If they had a frame I fell in love with. .. maybe.
Otherwise — I’ll take my business elsewhere.
Here’s some basic pricing for my fellow Unilocalers:
Eye glasses exam $ 59
Eye glasses and contacts $ 119
Glasses have 5 — 10 day turnaround.
Glare reduction lenses — $ 80
There is no additional fee to make pattern for using your own frames.
Hours for eye exam appointments are 10am — 520pm, Monday through Thursday. And Friday — Saturday 10am — 420pm.

There is a reason for the two star review, and it is not the store itself. It concerns the eye doctor, who is Dr Kasik. The store services are average, no worse or no better than most other eye wear stores. The problem at this store is the eye doctor, who has an office on the premises. Dr Kasik is the worst eye doctor I have ever had to deal with. His procedure is to overbook patients, then rush patients through a hurry up eye exam. As a result, he makes mistakes, when he writes an eye wear prescriptions. He wrote an incorrect prescription for my eyes, then when I returned for a recheck, he refused to recheck my eyes. This is an unbelievable thing for any doctor to do, when confronted by a patient telling the doctor he cannot see through the glasses which wer based on his prescripton. Dr Kasik’s behavior is very unprofessional. He is impatient and arrogant, believing he cannot make mistakes. I had to pay another doctor to examine my eyes, and it was determined that Kasik’s prescription was way off and very wrong for my eyes. Do not use Dr Kasik for eye exams.

Maxine and staff was wonderful. Maxine called me back with the info I needed. She is always willing to help. The staff is great! The place is busy but they make sure that you are acknowledge and they will be right with you. I will definitely be back. My daughter and I.

Great service here. I lost nose pads for sunglasses that I didn’t even buy from For Eyes. Without hesitation a fine young salesperson took my glasses and AT NO CHARGE replaced the nose pads for me. Only wish there were more businesses like this!!!

The service was efficient and the sales clerk ydandria and Maxine went above and beyond to get my issue resolved. I observed them working with other customers with the same great service and professionalism. I would recommend them!

Great place! Ordered new glasses previously for my daughter and the lens popped out and got a nick on it. I brought wit back to them and with I questions asked took them back to replace the lenses and get them fixed up… Just bought a pair for me! Super fair price and they even took off money from my health insurance plan.
Customer service is stellar!

I just went in for my yearly eye exam and once again, Dr. Kasik was fantastic. Thorough, funny, and my contacts are just right. He’s helped me get rid of migraines caused by the incorrect prescription from previous doctors. I think these people who say he’s not good are competitors and not truly patients.

When I had my first eye check up done there, the optometrist who did my exam was very abrupt, snippy, and honestly a jerk. I felt rushed and very uncomfortable. All they wanted to do was get through the line and get more money from each patient. I will never go there ever again. Worst experience ever.

I’ve been going here for ~6 years now. Very pleased with Dr Kasik and Dr Hahn. Get my contacts and glasses here once a year. No complaints. Enjoy both doctors and friendly and helpful staff.

I was very pleased with the exam Dr. Hahn gave me. As a matter of fact his assistant was out that day and he handled everything that the assistant would ordinarily have done in addition to the exam and never seemed rushed or exasperated. The lady who helped me with eyeglasses was very nice and very helpful and made sure I got the maximum benefit from my insurance. I appreciated that. I noticed a lot of people who came in and were recognized and addressed by name by the staff.
My visit was perfectly satisfactory. Not out of the park home-​run exactly but I cant really think of anything I would improve.
