Jackie’s Fine Wine and Spirits

Decent selection/​ok pricing. Usually stop in if I’m heading to grand champion BBQ otherwise this isn’t the most convenient stop. The staff is usually very friendly and helpful.

Jacki’s is a great local wine and liquor store. Helpful staff, great selection and reasonable prices!

This is my go to place in the neighborhood. Prices are good and selection of my favs (whiskey, bourbon, scotch and beer) is very deep. They even regularly stock Bruichladdich as well as Michters. They just need to expand the beers a tad more but it is a very small niggle for such a well run shop.

I was greeted nicely as I entered the store by the owner (?). I asked where the dog was as I am a dog lover. He laughed and said she was at home. I made my selection and chatted with the nice gentleman behind the counter. I will definitely be back-​hope the dog is there next time!

So, the other day the boy and I were put in charge of The Drink Run. And I’m talking a serious one — restocking and piling up were our explicit directives! We were sent to Jackie’s and we discovered a new fave local spot — now when we’re up the East Cobb way, we know where to go.
Laid back and friendly guys work there, very helpful in their willingness to look in the back or downstairs for specific requests like ours for Bluecoat (our new favorite gin — if you like gin and haven’t tried this, you really must — it is florally and delicious!) and with suggestions for our questions about good old vine Zins (we actually went with one Bogle for about $ 9 — it was yum!) or where to find other random items.
Better prices than most of the other nearby spots, the whole gamut of low to high wines, kegs if that’s what you’re shopping for. .. all the swill you need or want right around the corner!

Jackie’s is pretty much your typical neighborhood liquor store. They have enough alcohol to start several parties which would probably later be broken up by the Cobb County Police.
What I like best about Jackie’s is the fact that you can purchase a keg from them, and they usually have every type of domestic beer available in pony or regular sized keg forms. This makes that certain new years eve party or birthday party bash you are eager to throw more than a possibility.
The only gripe that I may have about Jackie’s is the fact that it is run most of the time by a group of juvenile delinquent high school kids, or guys that look like and act like they should be in high school. The last time I was there I had to actually ask one of the guys if they would help me carry my keg out to my car, because he was distracted by perfecting his own art of doodling on receipt paper.
For the most part though, Jackie’s is an excellent place to stop and shop for a wide variety of alcoholic necessities.
