This is almost one of the only KFC left that I can still buy a Lemon Parfait at. That is very frustrating for me. I don’t like any other parfiat but lemon. So when I am in this area. I have to buy 3 or 4 at a time. I really appreciate this KFC. Thank U for still selling my favorite dessert.

The 56-ft. tall Big Chicken, KFC, is a must see animated attraction in Marietta, GA. The KFC staff is nice, food is fair, but the chicken rules the roost.

Not too bad. Sometimes the wait is VERY long in the drive-through and the traffic will make you curse but, overall, it’s good chicken.

It’s a standard Kentucky Fried Chicken menu, so you pretty much know what to expect when you go inside — except that the people behind the counter move pretty slowly and get your order wrong, even after you ask them to verify it. Disappointing for my first visit to the big chicken.

It is a KFC with a huge, moving, geometric-shaped chicken. Swirling eyes and silently flapping beak. Other than that, it’s just a fast food chicken place. …Unless you are like me and experiences actually make your food taste better. For example, milkshakes taste better when you close your eyes(try it!), pizza tastes better when you eat it top down(cheese, sauce, dough), booze tastes better when you’re shooting it with friends(yoooou know!) and my fried chicken tastes better when a large, metal, animated chicken is smiling down at me. What do you think she would say if she had a voice? If you are a fan of KFC, this is just a bonus. Besides the fact that I don’t think any other KFC actually says«chicken» on the building, anymore — Aren’t they not allowed to call it chicken? One complaint. The drive thru window is very weird. It somehow blends in to the wall and you drive past it thinking there’s another window after it. I laughed the first time I did that and was told many people do the same. You need to experience this at least once to say you’ve been here and to be able to use it appropriately as a landmark, especially if you actually live in Marietta. For shame if you have not visited! Long live the Big Chicken!

The staff here needs a little improvement on their ability to move faster for your fast food, but other than that, the food is awesome. I mean, HEY, it’s KFC! and I love me some KFC. This spot is awesome because it sits under a great and historical landmark of historical Marietta; The Big Chicken.

Good lord, that’s a big chicken! When I told my friends from out of town who have been to the ATL more than twice that I went to the KFC for lunch, they asked if it was the big chicken one. I normally don’t do the KFC, but I had to check out the hype of the icon of Marietta. So we went. I had a wrap and some mashed potatoes. The service was polite, the restaurant was clean, and checking out the mementos of saving the big chicken was kinda fun. I wouldn’t go every day, but I wouldn’t shun going again.

Yo, straight up, I LOVEKFC. Like I love it more than anyone you know… I mean if my last meal was a 3 Pc. original, with Mash Potatoes and coleslaw, I would leave here a happy man. Nonetheless, after visiting the birthplace of KFC and eating there, this place, to me, is really nothing more than a Marietta/Smyrna Landmark. I would also think this spot would have a buffet like the other KFC on Cobb Parkway… apparently that was too much to ask. The place is ultra clean, so I do like that about it, but honestly, its a toss up between this place and Popeyes… Sure does make directions a lot easier to give in Marietta though:)

Yes the big chicken is pretty fascinating and I always like driving by it, what with its animatronic beak and eyes. However, this KFC is really lacking in cleanliness and good service. So get your photo op here, then roll on to another KFC to order.

I don’t know why anyone would ever eat here, but there is one very big reason why this otherwise benign KFC deserves a visit. The big chicken, with all of its beak-moving eye-rolling glory.
