Paradise Grille

The most truly disgusting food I have ever had in my life. But don’t come here for the food, come here for the drinks! They are AWESOME.

Always good food, I’ve been taking my family there for over 4 years now. The fajitas are awesome & the service is great.
I strongly recommend this restaurant.

Paradise Grille is overall a decent place to grab a meal. I’ve only ever had the food off the Mexican menu, but I’ve enjoyed it each time. I’ve had the enchiladas and the nachos. Each of them had an abundance of food, making it difficult to finish. Pricing is adequate for what I get. Service is a little hit or miss, depending on if you get a veteran or one of the high schoolers taking care of your table. It is great for large groups and families. Wait for a table and for our meals are never too long, and the place is kept clean.
Overall, good place to go. It isn’t anything fancy or special, but worth coming to for a quick bite, especially if you’re with the more picky eaters.

Came here last night for 60¢ wing night. The wings were nice and crispy and delicious. I was a little disappointed that some of those wings were tiny — maybe it’s because they were 60¢ that night? Regardless, they were still pretty good. The bleu cheese was a little on the cheap side — most good bleu cheese has a lot of chunks in it, but this one did not. Fries were decent and the service was great.

Great fun place food is very good and the staff is the absolute best anywhere. Had two lunch specials recently the meatball sub and the italian sub both need to be on the regular menu very good

Great wings (.60 on Monday’s after 6, $ 1 for 10 oz drafts too) order them xcrispy otherwise they’re pretty soggy. Try the Paradise style (hot sauce mixed with teriyaki) Great shrimp po boy, great Paradise salad, great fried fish sandwich, great cheese steak. The white chili is excellent! On the flip side the fish and chips are very greasy and you only get a few pieces for $ 10. The cuban is hit or miss, when it’s on it rocks but at times tastes a lil funky. Skip the burger-​very sub par-you’d be better off with one at a chinese restaurant. Excellent place for zombie watching on a sat/​sun at 2:00 in the afternoon in the bar area. I’m talking locals absolutely jack-​hammered but you can smoke in there. I’ve been to this joint 100x and will continue to go back as long as you know what to get. Hope this helps, Unilocal!
Oh, btw order a ½ basket of (shoestring) onion ringsw/​paradise sauce on the side when you order your drinks they are fabulous.

Hit the back button. Look elsewhere! I get you, this place is close to my house, too. The convenience is not worth it. The food was terrible. My husband and I left feeling physically ill, greasy, and smelling of stale cigarette smoke and bad, greasy food.
Literally everything we ordered, from the appetizer, to the mixed drinks, to the dinner itself was absolutely awful. With the drink specials, and close neighborhood proximity, I want to like this place. But it is disgusting. Luckily, new and better places are popping up all over this area. Adiós, Paradise Grille (and Paradise South of the Border which is equally bad).

great place for bar food. I have been going here for over twenty years. On average 2 times per month with 2 – 6 people. Have always had above average to great food and same type of service! Also very reasonable prices for portion size. We don’t ask for special service and try different wait staff all the time.
Between my wife friends and many guests we have never sent food back. Or had a minor problem. Should a high 4 for a bar food type place!

Food was just ok. VERY bland. Too bad as they have a nice patio but I would probably just stick with the drinks.

So I have been here a few times. Mostly with years between visits.
I ding one star, cause I savor the 5 star places!

It’s a huge menu for sure… And you can awkwardly order from the Mexican restaurant next door as well.
I went for what they called a signature item. The beef and cheddar. Can’t lie it was good. And I had low expectations.
Wife had the chicken and spinach flat bread. Can’t lie, she too was pleased. Though she did say it could use a lil more chicken and a lil more spinach.
Net net… It won’t be long before we go back (which wasn’t our previous experiences). And I’m hopeful I can add another star.

My boyfriend and I went here tonight (5−6−15) and it was wonderful. I am the head server/​manager of a steak house in Canton and unfortunately where ever we go I always find something to complain about. I don’t usually vocalize my complaints but just little stuff here and there. It is very rare that I go out and enjoy myself at a restaurant. We both had the salmon and drinks, the paradise punch I believe, and blue horizon maybe? They were all great! The salmon was perfectly prepared and the shrimp sauce/​gravy was delicious. The fries were wonderful and perfectly crispy (I am a fry snob) I also had a side ceaser salad and the dressing was perfect and so was the portion.
Emily, our waitress was new but great. I spoke with her about how I train people all the time and was impressed with her knowledge and confidence in the short time she had been working there and serving in general. She was perfectly attentive enough and not overwhelming.
We asked to speak with a manager when we were almost finished. As I know from personal experience we only tend to hear the complaints and problems of the night. I wanted to inform him of a job well done on Emily’s behalf and the wonderful dining experience we received. I did not catch his name, it may have been the awesome drinks we had, but he was pleasant and took the time to hear us speak. A courtesy that some managers have forgotten.
We will be back!

Have been trying this place for time to time over the last year due to its location. Service is sub-​par unless you know your server. Even on the bar side, sat for over 20+ minutes trying to get any of the 3 bartenders attention for a drink. While on the patio one waitress stood at a table she wasn’t serving and gossiped for at least 15 minutes while we stared at her. Disappointing since we are so close to this place, food is good, and we would frequent otherwise.

Worst… service…ever… I sat there for ten minutes and no one even spoke to me or my table. The waitress literally walked by 5 times. Never a word. I will never set food in this place again. Point blank. Never thought the food was that good anyways to be honest so this sealed the deal.

I had the Paradise Salad with warm bacon honey mustard dressing. Very tasty & filling. Didn’t care for the cheese toast that accompanied it, but I just set it aside & it was fine.

I’m a bit shocked by the bad reviews on here. I’ve eaten at Paradise probably 100 times in the last 10 years. I don’t think I’ve ever had a complaint about the food or the service. It’s a cut above regular bar food and the service is always quick. In the winter, the white chicken chili is everything you could want and more. With a Paradise salad, it’s nearly a perfect meal. If you’re in the mood for a sandwich, the prime and cheddar (ask for the creamy horseradish) is outstanding.
BTW — a previous commenter said something about how tight the hostesses shorts were. What does that have to do with the food? They’re high school and college age kids. That’s how they dress.

Mediocre food and poor service. This is the third time in a row (and three different waitresses) I have came here and they have messed my order up. This time the waitress was rude on top of the screw up. Won’t be making the mistake of coming here again.

Based on the inconsistency of the reviews here, I wasn’t expecting much when I stopped in for a quick bite while out shopping. Most times if you can feed me chorizo on a taco and have an IPA on draft I’ll be a very happy man. Problem was, the food was just ok and the service was almost non-​existent. I literally cannot remember the last time I, a) Didn’t get napkins or silverware or, b) Have the server neglect to ask how the food was. Really odd too given that everyone I encountered was friendly enough, just not terribly attentive I guess.
I really went in with low expectations. If you need to stop in for lunch (not many choices around there) I suggest you do the same!

Was seated promptly by a little girl with very tight shorts on.
Went to order fish and chips. Oh, they don’t have that. They’re in between the old fish and chips and the new fish and chips. What? But, they do have the catfish for a couple dollars more. Oh, you thought it would be the same price or cheaper? Oh, no pal. This ain’t Goodwill.
Never cease to get a laugh out of this romper room.

I have had my ups and downs with this place. If I wrote this review say mmm 6 months ago I would have given it a one star but they have improved dramatically! I think the owner got some sense and stopped hiring moronic 17 year olds. This is a good local family place. I enjoy the service NOW, but sometimes oh my god it could like what seems like YEARS to have someone greet you. The menu has a variety of items. We dine here probably 5 – 6 a month varying for lunch and dinner. I love their sandwiches, and their homemade ranch is killer. Love the fried pickles and their shirmp and steak kabob is great! I would not make anyone drive from Atl to Marietta to come eat here but if you live nearby it is a must!

Being born near by when this place was not what it is now… I might seem like nothing special but this place really is great. It USED to be nothing special and that’s why it was very hard for me to give it another shot…
It is a great bar. It’s a great restaurant with excellent food. (Try the wings or the ribs) And the prices are unbelievable. They make you say WOW, why can’t I find food like this at these prices everywhere else???
Seriously this is a great local bar and restaurant that is great for sitting down with the family OR sitting down with some friends at the bar and eating some excellent bar food. I will continue to go to this place. It’s high on my list of favorites!
