This was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had getting my hair done. I wanted my hair done with extensions added. They assigned me a stylist who said she could do the style I wanted. Not only did she stab me in the eye with a sewing needle, she cut ALL of the length off on one side of my hair. I bought 20 inches of hair and she cut it to about 12 on one side which I NEVER asked. The manager/owner gave me to another stylist to correct all of the mistakes after I was in tears, ready to leave. The other stylist attempted to rectify the situation but the initial stylist had made such a mess or the hair, she could only try her best to salvage what was left. The owner/stylist still charged me full price for the disaster. I ended up removing the weave within a week. I will NEVER return. You should be very cautious if considering this salon. I would go to the walk-in weaves in Atlanta or Decatur. My experiences there have been amazing in comparison.

After the service I received in this salon today I was very close to a two star rating… But the beautician did a good job on my head so I went from being pissed that she didn’t start on my hair until 45 minutes later to… I’ll say this place is kinda okay… but will definitely find somewhere else to go soon. The salon and barber shop use to be connected… Men on one side, women on the other. The first time I visited the salon was to get my natural hair braided into a fauxhawk style. She did a fantastic job on my hair, but she braided my hair too tight… A few days later I was up at 8am asking my mother to help take those braids out my head… The second time I visited the shop I needed my ends trim… So still rocking the natural hair, I was sent to the barbers side where he used clippers to trim my ends and practically gave me a haircut… I knew next time a man was not going to cut my hair with clippers for my natural fro… Third time I went to the shop… they’d split the salon and the barber shop into seperate buildings. There was more room and it actually felt like a salon instead of the men zone barber shop. An interesting thing about the salon is, the women try to act professional, but they’re kinda rough around the edges and come off a bit… ghetto at times… I tend to drown out the conversation and that awful radio station V103… But when I got my hair done it was a wash, hair cut, blow out, and flat iron just to straighten my natural hair… She did a good job, but it was too much effort to straighten some natural hair. So compared to my 4th visit today I saw none of the same beauticians(maybe they were all off but consistency here would be nice) and walk-ins were started on immediately, when I made an appointment in person yesterday received a confirmation text for 3pm and she didn’t start on my hair until 3:45… I was pissed, but again she did a good job on my hair and finally let it go when I said I just wanted my hair wrapped and I wanted to go home… I did not feel like sitting under the hair dryer after being there for 2HOURS… She was like you don’t want a style and I’m like no… For over 2 years I’ve been natural and I couldn’t take it anymore… I put a relaxer back in my hair and she straightened my hair well, that’s why I’m not doing 2 stars. They can do some good hair here(that’s why I say it’s Ok)… but the atmosphere is just not my scene. Their prices are okay, but each additional service can start to add up and they do that annoying thing where they charge 10 $ for conditioner… whoever started that BS some time ago deserves to be slapped… But other than that, they’re ok, but I’m definitely going to find somewhere else to go…
