Let’s start with the positives! This is a very cute venue! I come from an Italian home and I thought it was hilarious how everywhere I turned, there was another poster or decoration that I have at home on my own wall. The service is excellent as well! We were checked up on frequently and our food was out very fast! The garlic knots came around literally every time we ran out, no waiting! They would pile them sooo high too. They knew. Every single server was incredibly friendly. 100% great experience. Must come here at least once! Now on the downside, parking is awful. But I mean it’s Venice, so that’s to be expected. Pay attention to street signs; there’s a lot of restrictions in the area. Also, as far as the food goes, I was actually a little disappointed with the portion sizes. Maybe it’s because I’m used to robust family style dinners that my grandma makes, but I didn’t think the plates were shareable. You could upgrade to a larger dish for $ 6 though and I think I’ll do that next time since I’d rather eat Italian food family style. Overall, FANTASTIC staff and good food. Would recommend for a nice date or a family dinner! Anyone and everyone is always invited to an Italian dinner.

My lunch started out with my boyfriend saying«find us a good place to eat from Unilocal.» After over an hour hunting for parking, it ended with«we’re eating here!» «Here» was C&O Cucina and man did we luck out!!! The sign on the outside wall says«Killer Garlic Rolls». It should say«You WILL be addicted to our Garlic Rolls». We promised ourselves just to have a snack as we have a dinner to go to in 4 hours. Once we heard the special of the day(Bow tie pasta with salmon, asparagus, and vodka sauce), we threw our other eating plans to the wind. We finished off our meal with homemade Tiramisu. You know those people who say that nothing tastes as good as thin feels? They’ve never had this tiramisu. If you are in the Venice Beach area and are craving Italian, this is a must stop.

I’d only been to C&O Trattoria before this, but Cucina is also amazing! It’s a lot smaller than Tratorria, but its still delicious. Also, Make sure to ask for extra garlic knots! Parking: street, we managed to find free parking right outside We went at an odd hour, but try to make a reservation before you go here, its small so I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a long wait on a friday or saturday night.

Soo I will start off by saying, WEARENOTLYING about those garlic rolls!!! Omg we even took some home for crying out loud. Our service come and took his time as well as made me and my bestie laugh. We felt comfortable and was already telling each other we would come back before we even tasted our meal. We brought two meals and two drinks as well as had as many garlic rolls as we could eat all for the low price of 75 dollars!!! Yes we were very happy after leaving. Drunk and full is always the best way to leave.

My production company loves this place! Always delicious and hot. Everyone looks forward to their excellent pastas especially. Lots of choices so there’s something for everyone. The garlic rolls are also bomb! The delivery is always on time and their staff is professional and friendly– very helpful in placing large orders! We do a decent amount of catering and C&O Cucina is a favorite for sure. Definitely recommend for catering, or just anytime you’re in the mood for some great Italian. 5 stars, highly recommended!

The garlic knots are great. The pappardelle was ok but I was hoping for more flavor. The service was friendly and attentive. They always keep the garlic knot plate full.

The restaurant itself was cute and the servers were definitely great. It’s clearly an easy spot for large groups as you can use the covered back patio, which has several heating lamps. In terms of the food though, I wasn’t too excited by it. I love pasta, so perhaps I was just expecting more, as Venice has many local Italian gems with outstanding pasta. Other than the buttery, garlic-smothered bread balls, I have to be honest and just say meh. The salad was meh. The fettuccine alfredo was meh. And the rigatoni with tomato cream was also meh. There was nothing particularly wrong with any of the dishes that we ordered; it was all just a bit bland. Not sure that if come back here, but I’d certainly recommend the bread balls, as they were served right out of the oven and delicious!

Your quads have all but given up. There’s a blood blister encompassing the entire ball your left foot. You try to recall the last time your calves were this tired. 13.1 miles. Despite it all, you’re still excited and hopeful. Why? You already got the medal. Nope. Your next meal is the true finish line. A mountain of pasta, the creamiest sauce you can find and bread. Oh my God, ovens full of bread. Where are they?! Got delivery because, duh, any more walking and someone would die. Unfortunately, the delivery driver was struggling that day. After much confusion and deliberation, the food finally made it. Overall, not bad. Spaghetti and meatballs were fine. The shrimp ravioli were good. Could’ve done without the Hearts of Romaine salad. The real gems were the lobster bisque and garlic knots. Holy sh-t. I would’ve made myself sick had there been an unlimited amount of both. Those are not to be missed. I’d imagine everything would’ve been much better dining in. $ 69 seemed kinda steep for delivery, but I guess it was a fair amount of food?

Nothing special, but something nice. The staff seemed relaxed and well versed. Seemed they have a working system. The lady who seemed to be the manager seemed out of touch and in a rush. A tad rude. She was giving uncomfortable glares as well. My girlfriend was also getting similar vibes. Spaghetti sauce was watery. But over all good. Frank out server was awesome he gets a 5 star review. Thanks man! Will be back … One day

I can’t believe I’ve never reviewed one of my favorite Italian restaurants! Where to start… I love the atmosphere of C & O. It’s such a warm family feel. Upon entering you really do feel like your in a mom-and-pop Italian restaurant. Everyone is so friendly and great Italian themed music puts you in the mood to eat! If you dine in, they offer unlimited hot garlic rolls, which simply put are dangerously addicting. If you take out, order a gargantuan for an additional $ 6 and get 12 garlic rolls. The gargantuan portion lasts well over 5 servings and is more than enough to share for a party of 2. I’ve tried a lot of pastas on their menu, but my favorites would have to be the Capellini Shrimp(if you like white pasta sauce) and the Spaghetti with Meatballs(if you like red pasta sauce). Everything is just right about their dishes. They’re fairly priced and you get a lot of food for your buck. I highly recommend C & O as one of my top restaurants to dine at. *Free Parking is pretty much nonexistent, but they do have a valet right next door.

I went here with a friend after hearing the rave. It lived up to the hype I must say. First off, the garlic bread balls were hot and fresh out of the oven. The server constantly refills the plate at your heart’s desire. If you’re a carb/bread fanatic like me, this can be just as bad as it is good! I devoured so many of the garlic bread balls, I barely had room for my food. Speaking of, I ordered the lobster linguini with spaghetti noodles instead. It’s another plus that you are able to substitute any noodles or sauces as you wish. My noodles and lobster was super tasty. It had just the right amount of sweetness to the marinara. Fresh grated parmesan cheese made it even better. Service was friendly and the owner(?) even walked through greeting guests on this day. The dining area had an authentic Italian vibe and the indoor patio is great for large groups.

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed the lobster bisque with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and stuffed prawns with lobster cream sauce. Really, really delicious food. We(or maybe just me) pigged out on the garlic knots. I had to stop myself from licking my fingers and eating all the little bits of minced garlic. They were so good, we had 2 servings before the meal and ordered more to go. Posting this review makes me sad that I’m not eating there right now.

My fiancé and I were in LA on Halloween and we stopped into C&O Cucina for dinner. The employees were all dressed up in costume, which we thought was fun and festive. As usual, the garlic bread was amazing! I ordered the Linguini Pescatore, which was comprised of thin, flat noodle with swordfish, salmon, shrimp, artichoke hearts and sun dried tomatoes in a garlic butter white wine sauce. My fiancé ordered the Salmon With Shrimp And Scallops, which was topped with the chef’s lobster cream sauce and a shrimp and scallop skewer and served over orzo pasta, braised red cabbage and seasonal vegetables. We both really liked our entrees. We also ordered delicious fruity drinks — a Mojito and Mai Tai. C&O is nice and romantic but it’s also a nice place for family or large gatherings. The only downside is the parking, which is practically non-existent, unless you valet your car(which is what we ended up doing). I will definitely be returning for years to come :)

If you’re a fan of really tasty rolls, this is a great spot to come split a free plate and go home. Well, I guess you can order something too. The food here id say is pretty good but nothing I’d rave about. But I do admit this is a great place that takes good care of themselves. Everything is spotless, the staff is hospitable and it has a certain charm to it. They have great deals every once in a while. Apparently today was a 50% off a bottle of wine special! I’d suggest checking this quaint little spot out but I’d honestly just get the rolls and some cheap wine. Tip: check out the private room with the lanterns. It will impress your date slightly

Garlic knots were pretty damn good. No disappointment there. I don’t know why they even offer the choice of another bread. Chicken parmesan pasta was decent as well. Highly recommended for a weekend brunch. Parking is a bit of a challenge in this area, so just gotta be patient.

The bread here is delicious! Until you realize it’s absolutely(literally) soaked in olive oil. My LA mentality kicks in, and I wretch at all the calories! The venue is delightful. Good ambience – especially for groups. The food was just okay. They give you large portions. But three of us in our large party(the two people sitting next to me) only ate a portion of our food because of the taste. We’d rather have the bread. We took our pasta home, and when I spoke to them, they didn’t eat their leftovers either(due to it not having that deliciousness). Well, it was an experience – not to be repeated.

Any place that serves fresh, hot, right out of the oven garlic knots EVERYTENMINUTES is good in my book. Oh and there are two locations for this place! This one and then C&O Trattoria about a mile down the road. So if one has too long of a wait check the other one out! Anyways on to the food! Honestly everything on the menu looks amazing but I finally decided on the pappardelle pasta with boneless beef short rib. Probably one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had! It kind of reminded me of a stew but with pasta! and without the soup of course. Anyways i definitely recommend this to anyone that loves short rib and pasta… YUM! :) The service was of course excellent as well! Everyone stopped by our table to make sure we were enjoying our food, very thoughtful. Overall wonderful experience, will definitely be back! :)

WARNING; the garlic knots are addictive and will completely ruin your appetite before your enormously portioned entrees arrive. We dined here on a Monday and were pleasantly surprised to find out that all bottles of wine are 50% off. We took advantage of the great deal with a bottle of California Riesling. As mentioned previously, the garlic knots are out of this world. Hot, fresh, and delicious served every 10 minutes and given complimentary to go with the leftovers. Garlic knot heaven, just don’t kiss anyone who didn’t also eat 12 of them. Both entrees were flavorful and well priced. The shrimp capellini had the perfect flavor combo with a light wine sauce, artichoke hearts & sundried tomatoes. The fettuccine sun dried tomato entrée was just as satisfying but much richer. Only a few bites and I was full. The shrimp in both entrees were cooked to perfection; just the perfect crisp but juicy. If we are in LA again, this will be our stop for Italian cuisine.

Honestly, I am not a huge fan of Italian food. It is always so heavy, the portions are ginormous and I get chubby from it all. So most of the time, I will stay away from Italian food.(Some exceptions are Italian places that make their own pasta) I have been here once and it blew my mind so I decided to come back here and check it out again. Of course, this place knocked my socks off the second time. Should we talk about the unlimited garlic knots? These garlic knots are PHENOMENAL! The perfect amount of garlic flavor and dripping oil; however, sometimes you get harder garlic knots that you can tell they are stale… Eggplant Lasagna– 4.5÷5: I love eggplant so I decided to try the eggplant lasagna. Perfect balance of eggplant slices and lasagna noodles. The red marinara sauce over it was to die for. I literally lathered up the sauce plate. The lasagna had the perfect balance of cheese and not too much noodles which I really appreciate. Linguine w/Clams– 3.5: This dish wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t stellar. The clams had a stronger ocean smell than I was used too and the meat of the clams were miniscule. Obviously, I do not come here for seafood so perhaps I shouldn’t have ordered this. However, the light sauce wasn’t too overpowering on the linguine and overall the dish was still good.
