I have gone to Dr. Donzis for over 10 years and have always found both he and his staff to be totally cooperative and professional at all times. Just yesterday I flew in from Chicago just to see him to perform a very minor, though necessary procedure that no one in Palm Desert would I trust to perform.

Since the office is so close to my home, I really tried to give this place a chance. However, it just isn’t a professional business that values their customers. — Employees, especially the front staff, are lazy, rude, and impatient. Don’t even try to call at 4:45pm if they’re closing at 5pm. They’ve been mentally shut down since 4:30pm. — Terrible communication to customers. Different staff members will provide different answers. In addition, I’ll call to ask a question, they’ll look into and call me back… but of course, NOFOLLOWUP. — Will try to charge you/your insurance for anything they can get. I’m sad because I believe they take advantage of the large elderly clientele on this matter. — They don’t value their customers. Wait times, no follow up to questions, rude customer service, list goes on. Luckily there are a few other ophthalmologists nearby(with good reviews) so I’m take my business where its appreciated!

I guess I’ve been spoiled by having the best eye doctors that are extremely caring and tell me exactly why my eyes are going crazy and exactly what to do to fix the problem. When I went to see Dr. Donzis, I felt like I was interrupting him and he only had 5 minutes to spare for me. I won’t go back. Very impersonable, rushed me out of there. I wasn’t feelin it.
