I saw Dr. Mirzai (in Dr. Jorge Quel’s office) after seeing a bunch of other doctors (ENT specialist, my general practitioner, a few others) who couldn’t diagnose my hives, nausea, and coughing. Thank goodness I thought to see an allergist. Dr. Mirzai got right on the case and tested me in his office and also sent me for blood tests to confirm his diagnosis. He also sent me for a thyroid scan, and to see a specialist, when some of the things didn’t make sense, and sure enough, I have a thyroid problem, too. When I followed his advice on my newly-​found allergies, my symptoms cleared up immediately and I feel MUCH better. I don’t understand why it had to be an allergist who put all the pieces together with my symptoms and possible solutions, but he really did, and he did it quickly. He and his staff have a very caring, friendly attitude, too.
