Mimi Miller Style

It’s rare that I find stylists that can expertly style my natural hair. I usually end up with a flat ironed style whenever I need a trim. Not only did Mimi style my hair without heat but she gave me great tips to improve the health and condition of my naturally curly hair. I left her chair looking and feeling beautiful!

Mimi is the Expert with hair extensions. She provides excellent service that I have not found in many other salons I tried. She knows exactly what my hair needs and does an amazing job in integrating few lines that makes it look so naturally healthy and full.

Mimi is the best hairstylist! I will never go to another hairstylist she’s the one. I’ve known Mimi for about 3 years and she’s never let me down with my hair. All her hair products are organic that is a big PLUS! I always go in to get a haircut, hair extensions, and get my hair dye. She always has me coming out of the salon gorgeous! I love talking to her, not only does she know how to do hair but she has an awesome personality. The place is in Marina, it’s so nice, clean and private. If you need a hairstylist she’s the one. :)

I have been going to Mimi for about 4 years and she has become a good friend. I am so grateful to have found her on Craigslist. She is great with extensions, layered cuts, color and natural hair styles. She is very reliable and professional. I have thinning hair and she is the only stylist who I trust because she is compassionate and focuses on hair and scalp health.

Mimi is the only stylist I want to go to. I met her at her previous salon and enthusiastically followed her to this new location. I have really wavy, kind of frizzy hair that can be tricky to cut. As a result, I’ve had more bad salon experiences than good. Mimi is the first stylist I’ve ever had who’s gotten it right on the first try! I’ve strayed to other stylists, but always found myself going back to her. She’s funny, great to talk to and never tries to upset you to treatments you didn’t come in for. The salon is clean, private and has easily accessible parking.

I was recommended to Mimi as I heard so many great things about her from not only one sister but by three of my sisters! I definitely trust their opinion and with good reason because Mimi really is the best hairstylist! I left the salon happy since Mimi really took the time to listen to what I wanted. I definitely recommend Mimi!

Mimi is so good at what she do and the prices are very reasonable especially considering the quality of hair they use.
I had so many compliments on my hair, the extensions she used and the techniques she used to put them on made my short thin hair look so long and voluminous! I will definitely be going back, I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my extension.

Not only she is incredible with curly hair (my Dad is black), she encourages the most gentle organic products and process to repair damage, does long-​lasting blow-​outs, answers ALL MY QUESTIONS with patience, is always available, always punctual… she has unbelievable rates! I tip her like crazy ’cause she’s worth it! For reals, ladies, this is the Westside’s answer to a black woman’s (any woman, she’s that good) prayer!

I originally met Mimi when she was at another location and just after one appointment I knew she was going to be my stylist for life. Her knowledge of healthy hair care products is amazing. Mimi makes it a point to use products that are safe for the environment and safe for you. She also gives you some great tips for things you can do at home. Mimi is not the type of stylist who tries to get you into the salon unnecessarily, she genuinely wants her clients to look and feel good no matter if you are there with her or at home styling yourself.
Now that she is at the new location in Marina del Rey, it’s even more convenient for me to simply walk across the street to her private room. I leave her space looking great and feeling uplifted. Mimi is an extremely positive person, so your time in her chair is therapeutic! If you are in MDR, definitely check her out and if you are outside of the area, I promise she’s worth the trip!
