I have been frequenting this bar for some years now to the point I am considered a «regular». It is definitely a locals’ bar but outsiders are always welcomed by the other regulars and the publican Corey. Have spent many an enjoyable hour here and the new online juke box will play almost any song you can think of. So when passing through Marina and looking for a friendly and not too expensive a place to enjoy a cool one, or two this is the place.

I’ve spent a small fortune at this ghetto bar over the last five years, only to be knocked out on three separate ocassions by the fresh out of jail types that frequent this type of dive. If you like cops, and who doesn’t? Then this is your place! Always swarming with cops(the police station is just a small stager away) so if your looking for a weekend in county your in the right place! It was bigger before which just meant more chances for misunderstandings from the over served intoxicated fools that spend all their money only to get kicked out broke and on the streets where the cops conveniently make all quota’s with out the work! I am strongly advising all of those who want to check it out to do so with extreme caution and don’t be surprised if you experience all things bad that can come from drinking in this low class high violence dive bar/hot dog stand(not much bigger) The only thing that is quality is the bar food That Bobby throws down as if to try to make up for everything else lacking about this place! Bravo Bobby! Take notes all others! If anything, drink across the street, and see Bobby for some good eats to go!!! Seriously… Go!

Corey and the gang are great! Much better than the one across the street. Small bar cheap prices and a bunch of laughs. Great place to watch football.

This is a great dive bar that is nice and chill with fun bartenders. Dart boards, pool table, and juke box that has just about any song you can think of playing. Drinks won’t eat away at your wallet and pours are generous. If you’re looking for a fancy place, this isn’t for you. But if you want to chill at a place where you can kick back and feel like a local, then come on down. Oh and make sure you try Bobby’s burger or famous pastas. Delicious!

Rose is the best behind the bar and she always has great service. Bobby always has great food too.

Couldn’t get past the front door. Dodged a couple«snogging» in the doorway, just to get a look inside and quickly retreat. A dive bar, but not in the good way. Brightly lit(what’s up with that?) with what appears to be a limited, and seedy, clientele. Visitor to the area… Am I in the wrong part of town? Sure looked like it.

There are dive bars that are cool and then there are ones that are just divey. The cool ones usually have great bartenders, who mix a stiff drink for a good price, have a kick-ass jukebox or a funky, cool interior with dim lighting. Sadly, Fog Town doesn’t really have much going for it. It does have a couple of decent beers on tap like Fat Lip Ale and was impressed when someone played«Pride and Joy» by Stevie Ray Vaughn and then Vicente Fernandez, a Mexican crooner came on the juke box. Talk about diversity. I was turned off that the bartender didn’t know how to mix a Manhattan and annoyed when some drunk tried to sell me his jacket for $ 20. The lighting is a bit too bright for my taste. No need to come back.

Okay, ordered some food for the first time last week. Cheeseburger and fries — not very imaginative but kinda the standard for pub food. It was really good, surprisingly… until I learned Barbara herself was back in the kitchen. When the proprietress prepares the food, you might expect an added level of care and pride, and in this case it showed. The fries — of which I consider myself somewhat of a connoisseur — were particularly good: thick and not too crispy. Along with my Stella draft, I was happy. The burger was big enough that part of it ended up going home with me, where Elias(GSD) rated it 5 woofs. Just a note on ambiance: on this night, a Thursday, a live acoustic band playing in the corner under red neon with a small mellow crowd(friends of the band, students and other musicians) made it feel a bit like a cool college hangout. And my man Carlos at the bar took good care of all of us…
