This chow hall is consistently sub par. I would rather have chili mac MREs every meal than eat at this chow hall.

Probobly the worst thing I’ve ever had to stomach. The employees are the most ride and disrespectful mokes I’ve met. I guess I work for them I didn’t know that. They can’t accommodate to the amount of marines that eat there regularly. Wish they could maybe try a bit. Also. BRINGBACKBREAKFASTBURRITOS. If they didn’t take the best item they served off the menu they would get 2 stars.

The worst thing ever. I’d rather eat the curb outside of the doors to this fly-ridden, hot-as-hell, prison cafeteria. Should this establishment be replaced with a horribly smelly landfill, the health of all residents would drastically improve… a little testament to the nutritional value of the food that is «cooked» there.

This place is just awful… The food is subpar and the worst thing is that I’m forced to pay for it. I know it doesn’t cost almost $ 400 out of all the single Marines pay to make this terrible food.

The food here is better when it’s the Navy or Marine Corps birthday, other than that, why would I even bother. However, money gets pulled out from my check to eat here so I bare with it all. The portions seem to get smaller and the choices are fewer. Four years ago, when I first came here everything was good and fast. Now.yeah.

Went for the navy birthday celebration. Lunch was good, but one employee in particular was very rude.

I like this chowhall but I have to say I can’t rate it so highly when I think of other chowhalls I’ve frequented in the past. Although there are a few good points to this specific messhall/chowhall Excellent service– the personnel working at this chow has always been able to accommodate our group whenever we visit, if there is a problem with checking in, they will jump through hoops with the other staff members in order for us to get chow for that visit and then explain what we need on the next visit, instead of completely turning usaway. Spaciousness– this chowhall is probably bigger than the chow hall at the naval base. They have booths as well as bigger group tables. The setup of each table includes a spinning condiment tray with just about every meat sauce or condiment you can think of. Variety. When confined to living a life of strict regulation, its great to be able to have choices, and the smaller things are more highly appreciated. This chow hall is an ideal place to practice ones freedoms, rights and pursuit of happiness. They have a main line for healthier balanced eaters that usually include a protein, starch, fruit and veggie group and they also have a fast food section. Often serving hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza and burritos, different days of the week for those of us who like to reward ourselves with something unhealthier. They also change up a variety of DESERTS and all you can eat ice cream. Quality– this is a hit or miss. Depends on the night, and depends on the event. If your lucky enough to go to a special occasion you could get served prime rib and lobster. All you can drink coffee AND and expresso machine the squirts out single and doubles. All you can drink so you can get as wired as you want.
