I was in the gnc in Marion about a month ago and I bought some protein and some amino acids. Because it was my first visit to gnc, the guy said to me, «hey if you aren’t happy with anything bring it back and we will be happy to trade it in on another item. I was like wow, what great customer service, I was truly impressed, that is until I tried to take him up on his offer. Today I went in and the same guy was working, I said I really didn’t like the protein but the amino acids were awesome, can I trade the protein in on some more amino acids? He said«Not unless you have a receipt or gold card» I said I have the credit card I bought it on, can you look it up?, he said no there is nothing I can do for you. So I said, well I guess I won’t buy anything here anymore, and he responded that was fine with him. I went back in to ask his name, his response was, why? I told him I would be including it in my comment, and he just said pshhh! I was impressed with him my first visit and I think we went above and beyond, but lying to customers and using the bait and switch method to get people to come back will never work, and I hope this is not a company directive. To summarize first visit, awesome, second, I will never be back, what a shame his name was Drew if anyone cares.
