The Marion General Store is the epitome of small town, quaint living. Jack, the owner, is welcoming and kind. The selection is great, with beautiful local meats and cheeses. Prices are on the higher side, but I don’t mind supporting a local mom and pop store. Forgot your cash or checkbook(no credit cards at this old school spot)? Jack will gladly run a tab. It’s a great place to pick up last minute items, food, hardware, booze, etc.

This is a wonderful old general store found in the center of Marion. The owner makes you feel like part of his family. People go to the Marion General store for the old school feeling. It’s not about bulk shopping and low prices. It’s a wonderful place to buy an amazing steak or pick up fresh produce. The bakery has wonderful treats and the cheese case has a large selection. Support small businesses!

Best bagels in the world. I don’t know what they do, but it’s a weekly ritual. Cheap, too! Overall the shop has a wide variety. It’s a perfect mom-and-pop place. Also: cash only.

This is a great little store in Marion Center. You can get everything you need, food, drinks, beer, wine, steaks, etc. The store is a great place that brings you back in time when a general store would provide small towns with everything they needed.
