Kate’s is a wonderful eatery in the heart of Marion village! Their staff is super friendly and their food is delicious! The atmosphere is so warm and inviting, you’ll want to plant yourself there all day.

Fun place, lo-​key deli style café with tables to eat in or outside on the deck. Nance’s tuna was good quality and tasty. Very lite on the mayo as noted on the menu. Grilled cheese was good and the lunch Tuna on salad was also excellent. The side pasta salad was perfect, very little mayo or dressing and tasty. Fairly reasonable pricing. Pastries looked amazing, would try any of them in a snap! Grab a bag of chips from the baskets and you’re set for a light lunch in a fun setting… Would go back.

Great addition to the area. Food is great and the atmosphere is really laid back, with an open kitchen that makes everything seem more friendly. Haven’t had anything yet that I didn’t like, and the prices aren’t bad either. Wish they would serve breakfast (you can have coffee here, but there is a sign that they refuse to cook you eggs), but for now this my favorite lunch spot around town.

If your looking for a quick lunch on the run with a healthy menu, then this is your place. This is an upscale Cosi. My son and daughter love this place. EVERYTHING is delicious!!! 5 stars for service and atmosphere. Prices are reasonable. Enjoy your lunch on the quaint outdoor patio. Yum!

Wonderful foods prepared from scratch with fresh produce (including delicious soups), served in a warm and friendly environment. Definitely worth a scenic drive down Front Street to escape from Route 6 — and get a superior cup of coffee! Drive along the harbor to your left and park in the lot to your right after Kate Ross Home; heed Kate’s Simple Eats sign: «Get in here»!

Fantastic lunch!!! Walked in on a Monday afternoon and the place was very busy for lunch at 1:30. Could not have been more pleased by the service, atmosphere, and of course the food. Grilled tomato mozzarella basil panini drizzled with balsamic (added chicken), it was perfect.
**** also the shop next door was perfect for my last minute xmas shopping.
